Larry Huffman photographed my wedding 2 days ago, and I could not go another day without thanking him. He is an amazing photographer and a wonderful person. I got married at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Every staff member that worked there raved about Larry and recommended him. I later learned he even photographed their weddings. Pictures were my number one priority. My Mom had a friend photograph her wedding and her pictures were terrible. I interviewed all of the vendors the Beach Club recommended, and also other photographers I had researched on my own. After meeting with 16 photographers personally, I decided Larry was the best candidate. There were 2 qualities I was look for in a photographer, amazing photography and personality! I met with so many photographers in person so I could see the quality of their work. I love pictures and took a photography class, so I know good quality work when I see it. My other requirement was that the photographer had to have a minimum 10 years and maximum 20 years’ experience. Larry had 15 years which was perfect! Ever since digital photography came out, everyone is a photographer, so I wanted someone who knew how to work the camera when film was around. He was also up to date with technology which I found that the older photographers were not. Plus, he was able to do traditional and photojournalism, so he was the best of both worlds! Another great quality was he's reasonably priced! What I liked about his pricing was he did not charge by the hour. He was willing to photograph me from the moment I woke up to the moment I left the reception. Those were his words and he stood by them. He also was willing to do 2 engagement sessions since we could not fit in a full day with our busy schedules. We went to 4 different locations. On our 1st engagement session, Larry took pictures of us on a beach in the water and he got into the water literally up to his chest! On our 2nd engagement session, he even took pictures of me in my cap and gown since I just graduated college. Larry made our pictures look like magazine covers. He gave us a CD of all the pictures totaling around 1100. My pictures were breath taken and I was in tears knowing this guy would be photographing my wedding. Before my wedding, he met with me and wanted to go over who everyone was in my family and wedding party. He helped me with my timeline and all of the details. Actually, he helped me with my timeline on several occasions. The day of the wedding, he calmed me down when I got stressed out and he was by my side the whole night. He never stopped taking pictures. His assistant Steve great too! He was extremely nice and personable, just like Larry! I know Steve was an amazing photographer too, because Larry informed me prior to the wedding that Steve photographed his son’s wedding. Larry is the best of the best. He can turn any situation into perfection not by using photo shop but by simply using his camera and natural lighting. The best photographers are the ones who can create a picture perfect image by their camera and not manipulating the image on photo shop. My husband and I loved Larry! Our photos turned out great! We used him for the engagement photos and he got them back to us within a week! They turned out great. For the wedding, the photos are gorgeous...especially the ones near the water-Larry made the photos turn out great. The price is great and you get to keep the photos yourself-with ability to print anywhere (except for professional use), which a lot of places don't offer. The price also includes a photo album, which we haven't received yet but I am sure it will be great. Larry is a great guy, got my husband to smile in a lot of photos which I was worried about since he isn't the most photogenic. I would definitely recommend Larry to everyone.

From the very first meeting with Larry, I knew he was the photographer for us. His photos are amazing. So when we decided to have our ceremony and reception indoors I was less than thrilled.. but the images that we have received from our wedding day, courtesy of Larry and his assistant Steve are more than what I thought they would be! I am so thankful for his talent and creativeness on our wedding day! The less than perfect weather (downpour!) meant no outdoor photos like I was hoping for, but our photos are perfect! Larry knew everyone's names.. which is difficult.. especially with our families both being divorced and we had 6 bridesmaids and 7 groomsman! Everything went great! Thank you so much for everything on our wedding day!

Larry was wonderful! We (along with our families and friends) were beyond pleased with his service!! He probably took over 1,000 pictures! I don't believe he missed a single thing! We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant and professional person! He truly helped to make our day perfect!!

When choosing a photographer, I think it is very important to appreciate their personality. Your wedding photographer will be very close to you ALL day on your big day and Larry was a joy to have around. We hired Larry because we got along with him like a friend. He was relaxed enough that I knew in a high stress situation he could calm me down, but it was so funny because on the actual wedding day - Larry had MORE energy than I did!!! We had a very large wedding - Larry and his staff were all over the place getting images of all the details and all our family/friends. We are MORE than happy with our photos!!! His talent is unbelievable! He is extra talented when it comes to capturing the perfect sunset. He is an expert at that! Of all the photographers we interviewed, Larry was the most reasonable. Larry's packages were fair, competitive and we get a CD of the images and all the proofs. Larry is also creative...he gets unique shots that I would have never thought of getting. Overall, my husband, parents and I could not be happier with our wedding photos. I would recommend Larry to anyone...especially if you are getting married at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. He knows that venue like the back of his hand...better than ANY other photographer in the area!!!

After interviewing quite a few photographers, we knew Larry was the one for us immediately. He was so nice, laid back and open to doing things however we wanted. The pictures were absolutely amazing, three years after our wedding we are still talking about how great Larry was. He was the best vendor that we worked with for our wedding. We have recommended him to everyone we know and will continue to recommend him in the future. Larry was such a pleasure to work with and we hope to use him again in the future for photography. He gets a five star rating from us - if we could give him more than a five we would!
Larry was by-far, the best wedding vendor I worked with. Depending upon which package you select, engagement pictures are included. Larry really takes the time to get to know you before the wedding, and welcomes any suggestions and ideas you may have for the day of the wedding. I took pictures after the ceremony at 3 separate locations, and Larry was extremely accommodating. My fee included 2 photographers (Larry was one of them) for the duration of the wedding day (no time restraints) and I got to keep all of my proofs. In selecting photos for the album, Larry was extremely helpful with the layout, and best pictures for the book. My album turned out great and I would recommend his work to anyone!
Out of all the vendors we hired for our wedding, Larry was our absolute favorite! Since our wedding, we have recommended him to several of our friends who have hired him as well and have had the same outstanding results – breathtakingly gorgeous photos at a great price and a photographer who is professional, extremely talented and reliable. Larry has a good eye for light and perspective, and was so creative with his shots especially the outdoor photos. We opted for the package that includes the free engagement photo session, which was the deal of the century…. We received 200 beautiful shots of us on the beach with the sunset in the background that turned out to be such works of art – we receive so many compliments on our pictures and inquiry on who the photographer was. Larry made us feel very comfortable in front of the lens during the engagement session and took his time getting to know us and asking about our family and friends. One thing that impressed me so much about him was that he remembered every person’s name and details about them from our descriptions that on the wedding day our bridal party was totally amazed… Other photographers tell people where to stand by using terms such as “mother of the bride” and “bridesmaid with the dark hair”… Larry remembers and uses each and every person’s name, getting it right every time which makes the experience feel so much more personal and enjoyable. The week after the wedding, our proofs were offered online and looked stunning. You will not go wrong if you hire Larry. We were 100% impressed and totally satisfied!
