I booked them for my wedding, provided them with a timeline to play and my fiance had to tell them when to start and stop. They lost my check in the mail and I had to place a stop payment on it (an additional fee) and purchase a certified check to give them at the wedding. After the ceremony, they were the first ones to leave (before all of my guests) when I had asked them to stay until everyone left the wedding ceremony area. In my opinion, I would not recommend them to anyone.

Carnelian Strings were the perfect musicians for my wedding ceremony. I never even met the vendor in-person, but on the wedding day they showed up (I had a violinist and guitarist) and played the music I had "special-ordered". Note: they are willing to learn new music for your event--I spoke with them after the ceremony, and they thanked me for not picking "boring" wedding music! They are awesome--I definitely recommend them.

Absolutely beautiful!!! I walked down the aisle to a string quartet playing Bach's Arioso.... it was like a dream! Mary is a delight to work with. She's talented, flexible, creative, and wonderfully helpful. Breathtaking music!
