I loved working with Ruth at Carol Lynn Events. When we sat down to start talking flowers, I had a very vague idea of what I wanted, and Ruth brought my ideas to life. She didn't push over-decoration on me, knowing that I was looking for a very classic look. The effect on the wedding day was perfect. The flowers were gorgeous, the centerpieces perfect, and all the trimmings were in place. Carol Lynn Events brings professionalism, experience, and a beautiful final product - I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.
Absolutely beautiful flowers! I was so pleased with the bouquets and flower arrangements. When delivering the flowers, she even took the time to show the bridesmaids how to hold the bouquets. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful flowers! I was so pleased with the bouquets and flower arrangements. Ruth took time before the wedding to discuss what I wanted. She had great suggestions to incorporate the pricier flowers I wanted with some "filler" flowers that were less expensive in order to work with my budget. When delivering the flowers, she even took the time to show the bridesmaids how to hold the bouquets. I would highly recommend!

I have no problem whatsoever recommending Carol Lynn Events to anyone looking for the perfect florist for their wedding or special event. I told Ruth Babcock at Carol Lynn Events what I had in mind and she coordinated and delivered exactly what I wanted plus more. The service I received was phenomenal, and the flowers were absolutely amazing. I chose red tulips as my "main flower". They were bright, beautiful, and blooming red when they arrived! I received flowers and service that was well worth every penny spent.

Gorgeous....the flowers were perfect and exactly what I wanted. I went in with an idea - they worked with me for what I was wanting and helped me decide what would work for what I wanted and the budget we had - and they designed the most gorgeous bouquets and arrangements for the ceremony, reception, and all the other things I needed. It was great. They are busy and usually booked in advance - so if you want the best in Central Kentucky - then call them now so you know they can do your wedding!
The flowers for Lyndy and Jeromy's wedding were absolutely amazing!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful my experience was with you and your beautiful work! It was so reassuring to work with someone as kind, talented and accomodating as you - especially since I was out of town! You were so helpful in picking my flowers and in making my visions & pictures truly come to life the day of my wedding! All of our arrangements took my breath away and were more beautiful than I ever imagined! Thank you for your amazing work and for being so wonderful to work with.

We have been in the wedding vendor community for several years now we find ourselves working with many of the same vendors over and over. We have our favorites and we were TOTALLY stunned when we had the privilege of working with Ruth of Carol Lynn Originals this past weekend (Kimberlee & Denver’s wedding).
Not only were the flowers in stunning arrangement, the combination of flowers was something very unique and the quality was definitely nothing short of perfection. Even after 5 -6 hours of wear and tear the bouquets were holding up well and showed no signs of wilting (even the hydrangeas and that is a tough thing to accomplish apparently) ! As a wedding photographer you learn to have a discerning eye. You have tasted and seen the BEST and the worst. I have shown up to weddings where the flowers were wilted before they even walked down the aisle! It makes me so sad to see that happen KNOWING that there are some TRULY great florists in our area!
Add to that, the personal instruction that Ruth gave to the bridesmaids on proper placement of flowers when holding them, walking with them, standing with them and I truly have to say that we give two thumbs up to Carol Lynn Originals & Events and HOPE to see more of our couples choosing Ruth and her team VERY SOON!
