Ceremonies of Distinction

Carolyn was very professional and gave us a lot of differnt options for our ceremony. Her insight was very helpful, and made the process go smoothly. Her options were organized in a manner where you could customize ones wedding to match their individual love story. Highly recomended!

Our wedding, 5/21/2011, was everything we hoped for -- elegant but casual, without religious affiliation but spiritual. Every couple's love story is special and significant and Carolyn wove ours into the ceremony so that the wedding was the perfect celebration our journey. She provided the words of wisdom to help us remember what matters in a marriage. Carolyn is very special, exceptional to work with, and we were honored to have her as our celebrant!

Carri created a lovely wedding on very short notice (3 days!) for my godson and his fiance. She turned what could have been a slapdash event into a meaningful ceremony. The garden of her house was a beautiful venue--she had even hung a special string of lights in the shape of red roses upon the trellis the couple stood under to say their vows that evening. I know that they will treasure the memory of their wedding and the written copy of the beautiful ceremony that she crafted especially for them.

We had spent a significant amount of time looking for the perfect officiant and Carolyn was recommended to us by another couple. She exceeded our expectations - she was professional, organized, flexbile and thoughtful. Not only did she provide much insight in helping us come up with a meaningful ceremony, she also provided detailed direction to the entire wedding party in making sure the wedding went smoothly. Our guests raved about Carolyn and the entire ceremony!

Carolyn agreed to perform our wedding and agreed to the changes made to our service. However, on the day, she did NOT perform the service we had agreed to. She read an old copy of the service which included several aspects that we did not agree with and did not want as part of our day. Furthermore, she gave us incorrect information about our wedding certificate and kept the part of it that I had specifically told her that I need for immigration paperwork. We were both incredibly disappointed in her services and would certainly not recommend her to anyone.

Carolyn was absolutely wonderful! We couldn't have picked a better officiant! Starting from Day 1 when we met her, she was professional, pleasant, responsive, creative, flexible, and out-going. She never made us feel unwelcome or that we did not have any say in how we wanted our ceremony to go. She listened to our stories and really understood how our relationship blossomed; which made our ceremony the best! She took the time to perform a rehearsal ceremony the day before our wedding and she worked so well with all of our family and friends. She even accommodated our last minute idea to include a butterfly release at the end of our ceremony! What more could you ask for? Carolyn is also very organized and attentive to details. We love the fact that we got a Keepsake Copy of our ceremony along with our printed vows! These make such wonderful memories, especially if you like to scrapbook like me! Overall, we were so pleased to have chosen Carolyn as our officiant and we would recommend her services to any other future couples-to-be! Thank you Carolyn for doing what you do and taking the time to work with so many couples to make their day as special as it can be!

Carolyn created the perfect ceremony for us. We had a very unique courtship and she tied all of our details into her readings. From beginning to end, our ceremony reflected us. There was nothing cookie cutter or cold about the event. Plus, she offered us her back yard garden as a venue which worked out very nicely. She was fantastic.

Carolyn, Officiant of Ceremonies of Distinction was wonderful!We called her with only a two week notice due to a change in our venue. She was so kind, that she opened up her home for our wedding to take place in her back yard garden. Our wedding was small, simple and perfect. It was a perfect day with no stress.. Just beautiful, simplistic and wonderful memories. She is also quite organized which made the process very easy.
