They are fabulous to work with...answer every question, very flexible and helpful (and patient). They went out of their way to make sure my wedding was perfect. The value is superb. They have an old world vibe (perfect for my French theme) and the food is so good. Not just banquet food actually good food. Use the Martini Bar for your cocktail hour...its a great vibe. Drinks are poured well and not watered down. I highly reccommend!

We were a little nervous about not having one coordinator assigned to our event but we had no problems at all. All of the staff members we worked with were helpful and able to answer our questions. Everything at the reception was set up according to our specifications. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate the specific dietary needs for some of our guests. We couldn't have been happier and wouldn't have changed a thing.

I had some issues with the facility given that I am an event planner. The response time for questions was less than to be desired but my biggest issue was on the day of the wedding, I was told that my centerpieces (delivered the day before and morning of the wedding) would be put out per my instructions. They were not when we arrived to do photographs - my bridesmaids (thank God for them) took care of everything without telling me. The tables were not set up according to the chart I was given. Again saved by my bridesmaids. A lot of the extras were not taken care of and had it not been for my bridesmaids it probably wouldn't have gotten done. The bartender was a doll - my husband and I both requested that the heat be lowered and she kindly asked the staff multiple times - it just didn't happen.

Overall, the food was good (great value really) but don't expect 5 star service. I would only recommend if you are ok with spotty communication and have a day of coordinator to make sure your room is set up...

Food was very good for the value! The space was nicely decorated already for the Christmas holiday and it just added a little extra to my room that I didn't need to worry about. The staff was very nice and responsive to any request I had during the planning process and during the night of the reception. During our tasting we enjoyed all of our options, the only disappointing thing was not being able to taste the vegetarian dish. We only had 8 people choose this option but I think most of them were disappointed. The chicken and steak we had chosen were very good, along with the soup and salad. It is a great venue for the price and the food being good is a huge plus! The location of this venue is tucked into a residential area which I really liked and is away from any busy main roads. During our reception there was another wedding going on but I did not even noticed or run into anyone from the other room. Sometimes banquet halls can be over crowded during weddings this one does not feel like that at all. Everyone had a great time! Very worth the money!

Carriage Greens did a wonderful job for our wedding reception! We hosted about 215 guests in the Grand Ballroom. It didn't feel cramped, guests enjoyed the food, and I never saw anyone waiting too long for a drink.
In the beginning when we were still deciding which venue to go with they were slow to respond to email inquiries if at all. On the flip side if I called and asked questions they were more timely in getting an answer and returning my call. Emails were my preferred communication since it's easier for me to email during my daily commute/on the weekends and you don't have to be within time frame of "regular business hours".
Carriage Greens staff were accomodating in the sense that they agreed to do pretty much whatever our special request was. We asked them to serve our 3 different kinds of cake by offering each guest their choice. Also, they agreed to have a glass of champagne at each guests seat instead of passing it butler style during the reception.
I would hesitate to host another event at Carriage Greens and highly recommend it to any bride and groom!

I recently had a wedding here and overall it was a good experience. After I signed my contract the management changed and so did a lot of details in regards to my wedding unfortunately. Many things that were originally promised were then changed. Some of the staff were GREAT while others were difficult to work with or did not seem very informed. Sometimes it seemed like there were "too many cooks in the kitchen" with the staff as things were often miscommunicated. We definitely got nickeled and dimed...they'll get you for every penny!

Amazing food, amazing people, beautiful venue inside and out, affordable prices.

We had our wedding here in August. It was beautiful outside and we took many pictures with the beautiful willow trees and pond in the background. Also, the shiny, black dance floor in the Grand Ball Room looked awesome in pictures and the uplighting and candles around the room make pictures look gorgeous! The service was very good - they set everything up the way we asked. The price/value was unbeatable for the location and area. Also, the bar service was very good. Yes, the management changed during the process of our signing the contract, but the employees did not (you just had to know who to ask for and who will be working on your wedding day). We were very diligent in contacting them and had no problem. They are flexible with scheduling payments and we dropped off our decorations a few days before the wedding and provided directions for the employees to set everything up (which they did perfectly!). They also let us bring in outside desserts from a licensed bakery for a sweets table. The only downside of this venue is that there may be multiple weddings going on and the largest room is not exceptionally large and the ceilings are not exceptionally high. For the price and our budget, it worked for us just fine, and many of our 300+ guests told us what a great time they had for weeks and months after. The dance floor was also a good size, which was a plus. We were very pleased with this venue.

I chose this location based in large part on their prices, which for what we got, were far more appealing than any other venue in the area. The only drawback is that the staff were very hands off and occasionally difficult to get in touch with. I rarely got responses to emails I sent giving information or asking questions, which was a little frustrating at times, but they were very accommodating to any requests we had and let us decorate however we wanted & even let us come in a day early to set up.
The food is AMAZING. I had no less than 50 guests compliment us & comment that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. And it was. The dance floor was huge and gorgeous, and I'm sure the photo opportunities would be gorgeous in the spring - it was freezing and snowing and we still found some good spots both inside & outside.

We had our ceremony and reception at Carriage Greens. The staff was great to work with, and they were very accommodating to our needs. The venue was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added a very nice ambiance to our wedding. Food was delicious and pricing was affordable, especially in the off season months. I would recommend this venue to other brides.

We loved Carriage Greens from the first day we walked in. They have a wonderful staff and we received great quality of food and service. Originally our date wasn't availble for the size room that we needed (300ppl). Carriage Greens happily contacted the couple that had it reserved to see if they would be interested in changing banquet rooms and they obliged. I wish I knew who they were so my husband and I could thank them as well!

To this day, we are still receiving many compliments about our reception hall and the service guests received.

This is a beauitiful location if you like golf courses and a bright and wonderful staff to help you with any of your needs along the way. I know that there where times that I called with questions for three days straight and they did not huff and puff they were very kind and willing to help and suggests things in any way. I get so many compliments still till this day that they food was awesome and my family and guests had and awesome time. Thank you to Carriage Greens for a great wedding day and a hugh success. !!

Carriage greens was great! The food was amazing, the dance floor was the perfect size and a great time was had by all my guests. Their prices are very reasonable and you have to go and visit them to see that you really do get a large bang for your buck. My guests were thrilled with our wedding and all events involved! Carriage greens did a great job and the room looked great. The chairs are also amazing....wooden with leather seats....not the ugly banquet chairs that you have to pay $5 to cover! There were perfect the way they were which made the room come together so much nicer and saved me some money!

Carriage Greens is a really nice place to have a wedding. They offer outdoor photo opportunites and the food is great!

My wedding here was absolutely gorgeous. The manager was onsite and very hands on for my wedding. He made everything run very smoothly. We hada beautiful outdoor ceremoney, where they set up and took down all of the chairs. We were even allowed a horse and carriage! The food was amazing, the service impressive to say the least, and the room was big for the rate we paid. I would highly recommend this location to any bride!

my wedding at carriage greens was so great. They really have great food and the price is just right. They have special off season pricing and you can even get a 10% discount if you are a cardinal fitness member. Everything went smoothly with the reception. My only complaint was that I am pretty sure that I had told them that I wanted my wedding cake served, but they did not bill me for it so when the time came for cake, it didnt' come out and I had asked so they went and got the bill and showed me that I didn't pay for it so they wouldn't serve it. I even offered to pay for it then but it was too late. Other than that small mishap, everything else went perfectly. Their staff is very professional and the value for the price is outstanding. I also received so many compliments about how excellent the bartender was. My family is still raving about it months later. It was also great that an open bar for the evening was included in the price.I would have my wedding there again.

The country club was fantastic. The service was great and very accommodating. I had written everything that I had required of them and it was carried out to the tee.
I would recommend this banquet hall to everyone.

They did a great job with almost everything. The only (slight) complaint would be the location of the sweets table: right behind the dance floor where no one really saw it. I was not made aware of this before hand (like I was for all the other tables) or I would have changed it.

This place was beautiful and nicely priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our guests has a great time. It was an experience we will remember forever. I would recommend this for any bride ono a budget.

The woman here (Diana) is very very nice & helpful. Unfortunately, I am not actually booking with Carriage Greens because it is a little farther away than I prefer, but it was cheaper than most other places I looked at and still very nice. I had a great experience viewing the facility and I was very close to choosing this facility, it just had a different feel than we were looking for (its very homey).

If you are looking for a nice place for a reception and are on a budget this is the place for you. I was married in Las Vegas and was looking for a place to do a modest reception for family and friends that were not able to make the ceremony. Carriage Green was the perfect place for the amount of guests I needed to accomodate and had excellent winter pricing. The Oak Room was perfect for the 75 guests or so that I invited. We had open bar and a full sit down dinner for around $40 a head with tax and gratuity. Not too shabby. The staff was friendly and accomodating and the bartender that worked my event was outstanding. I had many guests comment on the good service and food. My only complaint was that we had to pay the last payment in cash and received a very crappy, unofficial looking receipt for such a large cash payment. Other than that the room looked beautiful and my guests had a blast! Highly recommended!

Everything was awesome! For months afterword people were telling me how good the food was! Great value!

The Greatest Place for your wedding! They made our planning comfortable, easy, and stress free! Beautiful setting too!

The room was beautiful, the food was excellent.

We will be having our outdoor ceremony at the gazebo at the golf course. They include set up of 100 white chairs and the site for 1hour in the price. We are able to bring in any and all decorations.

This golf course is in Darien, IL. We will be having our reception here following ceremony outdoors. Food tasting was phenomenol and pricing is very reasonable. I loved the old world feel with the dark woods!

Outdoor ceremony in the gazebo was GORGEOUS!! Reception followed in the Carriage Room!! Event was wonderful from start to finish- event planners were a joy to work with!!

The sales people were friendly and helpful. We had no alcohol at our wedding aside from a champange toast and so they allowed us to have a 'pop' bar as opposed to an open bar or cash bar. The grounds are beautiful for pictures and the food was amazing. The will help cater your wedding to be exactly how you want it. They also have a bridal suite where you can go and relax before the reception and bussle your gown. Beautiful spacious rooms, great views, excellent service.

Carriage greens, was very affordable, excellent food, great service. highly reccomend this for anybody on a tight budget, also saved 10% off our entire bill just because we are members of cardinal fitness. we payed 36.90 per plate very affordable.

Carriage Greens is beautiful, the only issue that I had was that there wasnt more then one private bridal room. So if there was another wedding that had more guests then they got the room. Even though my wedding was booked months before the other wedding.

I had a great experience at Carriage Greens. The food was absolutely phenomenal - and let's be honest, that's all anyone will remember. We were able to have a tasting to choose our menu about a month before the wedding, which was very helpful. The prices were very reasonable, compared to what you might find in the Chicagoland area. The only negative is when they served beef to people who had ordered chicken, and then ran out of beef, leaving the groom's father without a plate. On the upside, however, they were accommodating and made him something even better. I would definitely recommend this site.

They were amazing making sure that everything was perfect for our wedding. We were planning it from Florida, so a lot of phone conversations were facilitated. The food is excelllent, the staff friendly and courteous, and the location breathtaking.

We used Carriage Greens as our reception site. There were other wedding receptions at CG that day as well; however we had dedicated staff working our event. We had less RSVPs to our reception than we originally anticipated and the staff was gracious enough to work with us and even upgraded our meal plan and added some top shelf liquor to our bar. We had a great time!

We had wonderful service from this company throughout the whole night. The only downside was that I was told we would get a private bridal suite for myself to get dressed in but found out the day of that because we had the smaller wedding that we would not be getting it. The lady coordinating the events for us extended our bar time because of this mishap which I thought was very generous of them.
