Carrie Anns Bridal Boutique

The complaints seen here mimic my experience with this shop. I ordered a wedding dress, paying 60% of the cost up front, on July 20, 2012 and was told the dress would arrive to the store in 5 - 8 months. From January through February I called monthly to make sure the order was still due to arrive on time. Each time I was assured by the representative that it would arrive the next month. Finally, by March, I began calling weekly to get a status update, each time being told that the dress had been shipped and will be in soon. The representative, however, could never provide a tracking number for the shipment. It is currently April 23, 2013, more than nine months after the order was placed, and the dress has still not arrived. Last week, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It is time that the shop is held accountable for their unacceptable business practices.

Worlds Worst Bridal Shop!!!! We are 5 weeks away from wedding and still do NOT have the bridesmaid dresses. We paid $350 for each dress and the owner nor any of the employees are professional. It all makes sense after reading other reviews. Carrie Ann won't provide any answers as to where they are. She should not be in business and hopefully she goes under very soon after everyone is informed!

Ugh, what can I say, but stay far, far, away from this place. What a horrible experience. I ordered my dress last summer '12, and was told 6-8 months. I did not get my dress until a month before more wedding, after months of trying to find out where it was, if their was a problem, etc. I could never get a straight answer on where my dress was. They kept giving so many excuses to why the dress wasn't there. Please do not use this business if you want to have a good bridal dress experience.

Initially I went to this vendor because it was smaller boutique where I thought my Bridesmaids would get a more personal experience. Instead what we ended up with was a terrible experience. Our 7 bridesmaids dresses did not arrive until 1 month before my wedding (when they were to be in 4 months before). The store moved locations therefore putting our orders on hold (even though we ordered them in July they did not come in until March). My girls were required to pay in full for something they didn't see for months. Then when the dresses finally arrived (after I called the actual dress company) they did not steam the dresses and threated to call the cops on us, because we expressed we were unhappy. They did not compensate my girls for any of their trouble of finding a seamstress to rush their dress. They simply asked us not to come to the store again. It was truly a stressful and unhappy experience. Carrie Ann, the owner, was extremely rude and unsympathetic to the situation. I only called once a month from the time they told me my dresses would be in until 2 weeks when they finally arrived. However, they threatened to pursue harassment charges. I had to call a lawyer twice while picking up my dresses because they were being difficult. I highly recommend no one EVER going to this store. You go in thinking you will get a personal boutique experience when instead you get treated horribly and the quality of your product is terrible.

I agree with the prior reviewer-- had a horrible experience ordering my wedding dress through them. The dress came in a month before my wedding, when it was promised to be in 5 months before that. There was no communication from them on why it was late, where the dress was, or what happened. We had to keep calling and prying information out of them, and Carrie Ann acted defensive and unsympathetic. Total lack of customer service and professionalism. Steer clear!

I had a horrible experience with this store and especially with the owner! I don't know how they are still in business! DO NOT go to this store! I had to get a lawyer involved just to get her to do what she was supposed to... and it was still wrong!

I chose to write this review after reading the other seven awful reviews that are posted. Let me start by saying I waited until the absolute last moment to purchase my wedding dress and shoes. My first stop was Carrie Ann's because of the dresses in the window that I saw everytime I drove past. When my friend and I walked in without an appointment, we were greeted by Carrie Ann herself. When I told her my situation and she laughed and said lets take a look around. I found a dress that I absolutely love and it was a perfect fit. I told Carrie Ann to order the dress. With my wedding date being only five weeks away she explained that ordering a new one was out of the question but if I wanted I could have the one I tried on in the store. Carrie also contacted her seamstress and asked if she could squeeze me in for a few tucks here and there and because of their wonderful business relationship, Bettina fit me in. Then I had a catastrophe. I could not find any shoes that I liked. Once again because of the time crunch, she was willing to let me purchase what was in the store. Unfortunately, in what I wanted my size was not there. Carrie gave me her cell phone number and told me of her shoe collection and that if I could not find anything within a few days to call her (we wear the same shoe size). A few days later, shoeless and frustrated, I called Carrie's cell phone on a Sunday and she gave me a time to meet her at her store with several pairs of her shoes to choose from. Carrie went above and beyond for me and my time crunch and I would not have changed anything about my time frame because I got to meet Carrie and her wonderful staff, and I was reminded that someone will absolutely go out of their way to make sure that you get your way. I can not express how wonderful, respectful, helpful and funny Carrie and her staff were to me. I would recommend that everyone go see Carrie.
