Hotel Casa Del Mar

Casa Del Mar is the most beautiful and romantic venue I have ever seen! Everything was seamless & beautiful & so well orchestrated by everyone working on our wedding. I felt like the most important bride they ever hosted a wedding for! From the servers, to the managers, to captains they were all phenomenal, attentive & most importantly accessible. The ceremony site is absolutely breathtaking! The wall of windows & the view of the ocean while you're exchanging vows is romantic, gorgeous & absolutely picturesque. It makes a beautiful backdrop for photographs. Then at night its just as beautiful with the lights and makes a great background for the reception. The food was impeccable & just plain phenomenal! Everything from taste to variety to presentation of the Hors d'oeuvres & 3 course meal was heavenly! Everyone could not stop talking about the food! We even had trays passed around at midnight of fries, mini burgers & milk shake shots and they were out of this world! The mini burger sliders are highly recommended! Even my vendors were excited for them!Toby Lent, the Director of Catering, was an absolute Godsend! He was meticulous, detail conscious & an absolute comfort to work with. His main concern was us and our happiness and that we got what we wanted at all times. He managed everything and solved all my problems so quickly that I didn't have time to panic. I am grateful I had him by my side during such a hectic and stressful time. He checked up on us constantly and was there whenever we needed anything. He never sends an assistant or another staff member to take care of anything - he's always there himself with a smile on his face and a big comforting hug to calm me down. He even fluffed my dress and fixed my veil and gave me a couple of comforting words before I walked down the aisle. That was an added touch that wasn't expected of him, but that is what Casa Del Mar provides - the unexpected beauty, romance & service at the most unexpected times.The prices may turn people away, but this is a special day and you get what you pay for so I advocate to pay more to get the special service and attention you deserve on your special day. They manage to make you feel like the most important & special bride to ever walk through their doors. I sincerely believe that every bride should be a Casa Bride!!

Hotel Casa Del Mar is amazing.The food was fabulous. The service is impeccable and the venue is by far the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. I am beyond happy I decided to have my wedding there!

Michael Kossart was always very helpful and professional. He was very responsive , efficient, personable and able to deal with difficult type-A personalities. Everyone raved about the passed appetizers and the food. The venue is beautiful and the beach background provided a beautiful backdrop for fun and interesting photos.

Casa del Mar was a wonderful place to have my wedding!!! The coordinator was professional and responsive. If I had any questions prior to the wedding, he emailed be back the day of with a clear, concise answer. The entire day of my wedding ran so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!!The waiters were phenemonal. All our guests felt like it was such a treat. My day-of wedding venue coordinator was top-notch. For example, my dress strap ripped between the ceremony and reception, and the coordinator immediately got me a sewing kit, and my bridesmaids fixed me up in no-time. It was such a stress free day. And the venue staff was a huge part of creating a relaxed atmosphere. The venue's classy. The food was delicious. Great Five-star experience.

We enjoyed working with Casa del Mar and would recommend any couple to consider having their wedding at this beautiful hotel.

We really feel like we got a lot of value for our money. You get an extremely professional (and experienced) staff, a beautiful ballroom, and just awesome views of the ocean, which blew our guests away while they were having cocktails on the terrace at sunset. Most importantly, we had absolutely no problems during the wedding. Everything was set up and run according to plan. No glitches. No headaches.

For those couples who feel that it's a bit over their budget, I'd advise that sometimes it's worth spending that extra bit because you really do get what you pay for. The experience and professionalism of this hotel really shines through, especially with how smoothly they handled all my extra requests and last minute changes.

My only caveat is that make sure you get everything in writing. I don't think it was anything malicious on Casa's part, but there was one incident where the hotel had forgotten that they had promised something and we had to end up showing them our contract to receive what was promised. Obviously it was a very minor thing because we were VERY happy with Casa del Mar overall. But just a word of caution to my fellow brides out there: get everything in writing from ALL your vendors! Regardless of how awesome and nice your vendors are, memories fade and details get blurry, especially when negotiations are long and drawn-out.

The venue is beautiful and the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch -- as planned and perfect!

Casa Del Mar is the most beautiful hotel near the beach in Santa Monica. We feel in love with it the minute we walked into the room! It took our breath away! I can't way enough good things about the service here. From the planning to the day of everything was very smooth! The food was excellent, people are still talking about it! We couldn't be happier having our wedding at Casa Del Mar! We can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries here for many years to come! You can't beat the view!! Gorgeous!

Michael at Casa was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and always available for questions. Great personality and ensured that everything ran smoothly at the reception. Not a single complaint.

Casa Del Mar was great! We were originally booked at the catalina room in Palos verdes but got a call in november that it was closing and they were cancelling our wedding. Panic set in as I frantically called every location in the city! I was booked for the holiday weekend because we were having a jewish wedding and was so scared i wouldnt find that sunday open anywhere. Considering in LA, people are booking their wedding over a year in advance (we were one of those!). But it was meant to be, because casa del mar was open. My DH and I believed it was meant to be because we both grew up here on the westside and now it was like we were getting married in our backyard. It was great.

We worked with Stacey Levassuer in catering and she was definitely able to work with us. She didnt try to nickel and dime you like some hotels do. The room was small for our possible over 300 guest list (ended up being 260 thank goodness) but we had to make it work...and it did. The ballroom is beautiful. The food was amazing, the drinks were awesome, and everything went off without a hitch.

One of the bonuses were that you get a free ocean view standard room for the night of your wedding...however, stacey upgraded us to the amazing presidential suite which is two stories on the top floor overlooking the beach. IT WAS AMAZING! And now plenty of room for my bridal party of NINE girls to get ready. It was great. I checked in on the saturday and was planning to pay for one night, but I only had to pay for the price of a standard room. IT WAS GREAT! What a way to spend your first night as husband and wife.

The only reason they didnt get a 5 star is because there was a leak in the ceiling that was coming onto the dance floor.....most likely not something they would expect, but it didnt make a difference. The energy at our party was so high no one cared!

Casa del Mar is only a few minutes from our photography studio. We LOVE working with the amazing staff at this gorgeous wedding location. You will have incredible photos on the sand in front of the hotel overlooking the sea and the historic Santa Monica Pier. I wish that I could attach photos from the last wedding we shot there.
