Castle Avalon

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Castle Avalon and after months of stressing and planning, it all came together and was even more beautiful and stress free than I had ever imagined. Susan, the coordinator, is AWESOME! She is sweet as can be and very accomdating and happy to do whatever she could to make our day everything we wanted it to be. My Dad is still talking about how great she is and how she did a great job of taking care of everything. The owner is also very involved and is also very accomodating and wants to make sure that the wedding party and guests enjoy their time at the Castle.

The venue is gorgeous and magical and for weeks our guests are still commenting on how it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to, which I agree! I would highly recommend Castle Avlon and would suggest visiting for yourself to see how beatiful the venue is because pictures just don't do it justice.

Castle Avalon is a once in a lifetime experience. We just had our wedding there and had an AMAZING time. The event coordinator was extremely helpful in making sure our big day was perfect for us. They were very good about meeting our needs and accomodated us in a couple of special requests. As the bride, I feel like I got my fairytale wedding! Thank you Castle Avalon and thank you S. for making our experience one that we will never forget.

The wedding coordinator takes a lot of time getting back to you and I didn't like that she would speak negatively about other brides weddings during conversations. It makes me think she will do the same about my wedding. The venue was beautiful! This place can hold about 100 to 120 comfortably so don't believe the 150 max....it will be extremely cramped. However, if I could choose all over again I would probably of used another vendor.

Also, they have a list of vendors that you can use....good luck trying to find the one you want.

Wonderful and amazing!

I am not one for castles, but if you are, this probably isn't quite right. The grounds are beautiful, but the ballroom is decorated cheaply with old wall paper, a poorly done mural on the ceiling and tiles which are popping up. They don't have the ability to deal with a live band, which made it an automatic "no."

If you want a romantic wedding in a castle, this is the place. The people were so accommodating for us. We were upstairs in the ballroom, playing music over the balcony for the ceremony outside, and they made everything so easy for us to set up and having everything working before the guests were allowed in. It was an amazing place.
