Castle Couture was AMZAZINGG in every sense of the word. From the moment i walked in my family and I were blown away. MARISA was absolutely wonderful, not only is she sweet and acommodating but she wasnt pushy AT ALL which says alot. She took care of my needs as well as my mother, grandmother and aunt. I AM extremely happy with my wedding dress choice i wouldnt take the dresss off lol. I am soo glad i went to castle couture and i will be back for bridesmaids and mother of the brides dresses. THANK YOU CASTLE COUTURE!

I just bought my dress at Castle Couture and I could not be happier!
My first trip there was on my first day of dress hunting & it was the second appointment I had set up for the day. I did what everyone tells you NOT to do, and invited everyone and their mothers. I had 10 people with me for both of my appointments that day! (Obnoxious i know!)

We all arrived at my appointment a bit early, and they took us in right away. As we walked into the reception area I looked over at my mom and said "uh oh, I'm NOT going to be able to afford this place!" It's absolutely gorgeous in there, and the gowns are beautifully kept & displayed.

My sales lady was Rita, and she was excellent! After sitting everyone down (and carrying chairs in from other rooms so that everyone could sit comfortably) she asked me a few questions about budget, and what I was looking for - then she let me go around and pick a few dresses to try. And I didn't have to worry about affording the dresses they had available. They had a huge selection, which was a relief!

Rita then took me to the dressing room - which was really spacious and had a large mirror so that I could take a look at the dress before walking out in it - and then she helped me keep my balance while I climbed into the dresses. (she also had my engagement ring cleaned - woohoo!)

Instead of platforms the store has this great mirrored area. It's almost like a stage and there were mirrors everywhere so that you could see the dress from every angle without craning your neck. AND the BEST part - they allowed us to take pictures!

I knew before we left that day which dress I would purchase. And then when we got home that night, looking at the pictures - there was no doubt in my mind!

I'm not the only person that had a great experience, my family & friends with me that day keep raving about it! I'm counting down the days until I can go back for fittings & I can twirl around in my dress in front of those mirrors again!!

Definitely go to Castle Couture & ask for Rita.

We came to Castle Couture looking for a dress for my mother for my wedding. She was not looking for a typical mother-of-the-bride dress (no sequin jackets please!), and was dreading facing a the usual snooty service at many of these dress shops. We were so pleasantly surprised by Castle Couture! Francesca was wonderful! She spent time taking us around and getting a sense of my mother's style. Every dress that she tried on was more gorgeous than the next. She offered helpful advice and suggestions, and if she was hanging up a dress, another attendant would step in and help. You never got the feeling that they were just fighting for commission. We all fell in love with a Pronovias dress that was simply beautiful! While we waited for the dress to be steamed, Francesca even had our rings cleaned for us! I would highly recommend coming here for all of your wedding dress needs. It was fabulous!

I just purchased my wedding gown today! I had the most amazing experience at Castle Couture with Laura! She is so sweet, accommodating and lovely! She helped me narrow down all of the fabulous dresses and designers that the store carries to two dresses and today we made the final decision! I recommend anyone looking in the Staten Island/New Jersey are to go to Castle Couture! They have so many options there and everyone is a doll! Go to Castle Couture!

I asked my married friends for bridal shop suggestions prior to making my appointment at Castle Couture. The store was highly recommended and I soon learned why. The store is very pretty, filled with bridal gowns and crystal chandaliers. Laura was my consultant, she is a lovely person and was such a great help. I wound up loving the first dress I tried on. I was shocked as I thought I would be dress shopping for months! Laura had me try on a few other dresses in various styles just to make certain the first dress was "the one" and it was. After some tears and hugs, I ordered my dress that day and can't wait for it to come in!

Castle Couture is absolutely AMAZING!! Their staff is courteous and professional. Laura and Colleen have helped me. Laura gave me alot of great suggestions for the dress. After I have finalized on the dress, she helped me pick the best veil that matched my dress. She's very stylish & experienced- definitely perfect to ask for suggestions. Colleen is very professional & detailed. She helped with the measurements and had gone over and explained the measurement details- shoes & dress size.

Castle Couture is definitely the best place I have visted. I am so glad I have found them!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED !!!!!

After browsing the reviews of many bridal boutiques on wedding wire, I decided to try Castle Couture... and I'm so glad I did. Laura from Castle Couture is the BEST!!! She made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. She didn't rush me into making a decision... and I left with purchasing the dress of my dreams.

I had a wonderful experience at Castle Couture! I had gone for one of their sample sales and tried on a couple of wedding gowns. My sales consultant was Rita and she was wonderful and so helpful! I made an appointment to come back with my mom and family. When I came back Rita welcomed us and had me try on the dresses I had chosen before and more! With her help and the staffs help we found my Beautiful Wedding dress! Then a couple months later my mom went to look for her dress and she bought it that same day! Overall I would recommend Castle Couture to any bride looking for their perfect dress! They are very professional and helpful!

I had the most wonderful experience with Castle Couture. The salesperson who helped me find my wedding gown was Rita and she was amazing. She listened to all my ideas and was so patient and helpful. I returned three different times and she was always so flexible and super sweet. What could have been a streesful time actually turned out to be very positive. The selection was great and the atmoshpere very friendly. I would definately recommend Castle Couture to any bride.

After going to almost half a dozen other boutiques and trying on over 65 dresses, I knew I had to look for my dress at Castle Couture. My fiance and I picked out my ring at Diamond Castle, so it was nice to go to a place we knew we were happy with previously. When you walk in, this place looks amazing! I had an appointment with Marissa. She picked out a dress that was EVERYTHING I was looking for! I couldn't be happier!! She was extremely patient with me, she listened to exactly the type of dress I wanted, and pulled me a gown that actually made me cry! I could not stop hugging her because I knew after all the dresses I tried on, that this was the ONE! Marissa is an EXCELLENT consultant and I would recommend her to every bride I know. I am going there this upcoming weekend to look for dresses for the bridesmaids and a dress for my mom, and I cannot wait to work with her again. Castle Couture is very lucky to have such a wonderful consultant working for them! Keep up the great work, Marissa! Love ya!

This place is absolutely a dream! Laura was great and i would never ask for anyone else to assist me with such an important choice. I am going to look beautiful on my wedding day and i cannot express how exiting my experience at castle couture was. Say yes to the dress NJ?? I THINK SO!

Not one thing wrong with this vendor!!! Every time I went for fittings or to pick out my dress, there was a friendly staff who were there to help and the seamstress did an amazing job altering my dress! I absolutley loved my dress!! Not to mention the store itself is beautifull!!! I already had two friends get their dresses there as well and they were just as happy!!!

I got my Romona Keveza dress here. It was a sample, so I got a $3400 dress for $1900 plus a free cathedral veil. I wasn't planning on getting a veil, but I'm so glad that I did because it was great for the pictures and video. And it made me feel extra bridal. I had Laura and she was really sweet. She picked the right dress for me on the 3rd try. But I would have bought the 2nd one too if I hadn't seen the 3rd one.
The seamstress is a perfectionist and my dress turned out great. It is a lace dress and about 3 sizes too big, so I was worried that it would be super obvious that it was altered down to fit me. But by the final fitting, it looked like it was made for me.
I was very happy with my experience here, start to finish.

I purchased my dress and bridesmaid dresses here and had a great experience. The place is beautiful and there was a good selection to choose from. I worked with Laura who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She actually picked out the dress that I purchased after listening to what I wanted and what I was looking to spend. She also helped me with the veil and accessories. I would highly recommend that you work with Laura if you shop at Castle Couture. I think it's especially amazing that you can borrow $25k in jewelry for the day of the wedding and also receive a gifted veil of your choice. My bridesmaids also received 15% off their dresses which was very helpful. They didn't carry the dress I wanted for the bridesmaids, but I told them the style number and they were more than happy to accommodate us, provide us the discount and ended up being the least expensive for the bridesmaid dresses. A couple of the girls had issues with the dress not fitting properly, but CC was very accommodating and made sure that the girls left happy. My sister found out she was pregnant after we purchased the dress, and the day before the wedding the dress didn't fit properly. Laura told us to come in and they would take care of it which they did. Would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Castle was a great expierence. After shopping at other less friendly bridal salons it was so refreshing to go to s place that really listened to what you were looking for in a gown. Marissa is amazing, she made the whole expierence wonderful! I told her what I was looking for and she immediately pulled my dream dress, she knew exactly what the right dress was for me and has been amazing throughout the whole process. She is teh sweetest person andreally knows and cares what looks good on a bride and was neevr once pushy. I would highly recommend this salon and you should definateky ask for Marissa!

It's unbelievable that Castle Couture has not been reviewed yet. I began my wedding dress search a few weeks after I got engaged. I went to a number of stores locally in Monmouth Count as well as in North Jersey. No other store had the atmosphere that Castle Couture has or the service. When you walk into their salon, you feel like a princess. I was amazed at the selection that they carried. Linda was an incredible help from beginning to end. I selected a Paloma Blanca, raw silk gown. They even ordered it in the perfect length (I'm a very short person). Alla did an incredible job on the alterations. She is a perfectionist. I have never worn a strapless gown and felt so comfortable. I had the entire gown altered for under $300 - a price that cannot be beat! I also purchased my veil from Castle Couture and all of my wedding jewelry from Diamond Castle right next door. All in all it was an incredible stress-free experience!

Everyone at Castle Couture was so friendly and helpful. The staff was very attentive and their knowledge made finding the perfect dress easy!

I went to Castle Couture back in June and I met Laura. She was absolutely wonderful. She helped me try on a ton of dresses, she was very patient until I finally found the right dress!!! I was astounded that I found the right dress the very first time I went looking! I went to Kleinfelds after... and unfortunately my experience there was awful. Right then I knew, I had the right dress back at Castle Couture! I went right back and tried it on with Laura's help and ordered it on the spot! She was so lovely to work with. I am happy to say my dress is in and its beautiful. I went last week to find a veil and again Laura was wonderful, until I found the right one. I am so happy with Castle Couture and with Laura. She made this wonderful experience even more special. She was wonderful with my family too which made things even better. Thank you Laura!!!! I can't wait for my first fitting next weekend!!!

I loved the ladies who worked with me to find the perfect dress for my big day. They were extremely helpful, nice, and professional. There was a great selection of dresses that I didn't know where to start. I loved my dress and enjoyed all my fittings. The drive was about an hour from my house but it was well worth it!

The store is beautiful and they have an extensive dress selection. Colleen was my bridal attendent and she was fantastic! I was looking for somehting different and found my dress and the perfect accessories to compliment! I also found my BM dresses here and they came out beautiful!

Today (September 25th, 2011) I had an appointment to try on wedding dresses. I had Laura as a sales woman and she was the most kind and helpful person. She helped me find my dream dress!!! I couldn't have asked for a better place or more helpful people to have helped me find my dream dress. Every single person who worked there made you feel as though you were so special no matter how much your budget was!!! No one made you feel pressured to buy anything. I was so happy I went there with my mom and friend, Castel Couture made it such a special day that I will cherish forever. I had the most incredible experience, I would tell anyone to go there! Kleinfeld's has nothing on Casle Couture! Thank you Laura and Castle Couture!!!

When I first walked into Castle Couture I have to admitt that I was somewhat intimidated. You walk in and the building has this grand appeal to it and they even showcase jewelry. My first impression was this is going to be over my budget or they're going to be snotty. NOT AT ALL. Castle Couture is absolutely amazing!! Their staff is courteous and professional and Colleen is to die for! Went to them in Dec 2010, didnt find a dress then and a year later decided to go back to them because Colleen had been so helpful the last visit. She is the icing on the cake. If she has the extra time, she'll dedicate it to you and she has such an eye for detail. All kidding aside she could probably make 1 dress into what seems like 20 different dresses. THANKYOU CASTLE COUTURE AND COLLEEN! :-D

Castle Couture saved my wedding!! I am so thankful for Castle couture and their staff for saving my wedding. I had purchased a gown at a different store and they ruined it to where it was completely un-wearable. 14 days before my wedding I had to go out and find a new dress. I had purchased all my girls dresses and my mothers dress at castle couture and when I called them about the other dress they took me in open arms and found me that perfect dress and got it altered all in time. They eased my mind and made my day! They have all price ranges and styles for everyone being a plus sized bride I was worried they wouldn't have the right dress for me but they did!! I recommend them to anyone absolutely amazing!

Castle Couture was FABULOUS! I brought all my bridesmaids and my mom to pick out dresses and the assistants were so helpful and patient. They offer so much without making you feel rushed, offer suggestions without being pushy, and will spend lots of time on you for accessories if you need them. I got a bridesmaid dress there for my friend's wedding and that was a wonderful experience as well. My dress was so unique and fit my style and my budget. It is my number one recommendation for other brides to be - in fact, I already sent another friend there and she got HER dress there too! Love, love, love!!!!

I started looking at wedding dresses online and in magazines like many women do. I had an idea of what I was looking for and had started to call/email around to local stores to see if I could find what I wanted before going 45 minutes into Manhattan to shop for a dress (for ease of appointment fittings). From the first point of contact with Castle Couture I was impressed. I was going back and forth with Rita via email and she explained that they did not have the exact dress that I was looking for, but she would try to see if they could borrow it from the flagship store or if she could find something similar. She was so helpful and responsive...and this was all just over email- we hadn't even talked on the phone yet!! Although they weren't able to get the dress I liked, I was so happy with the service to that point that I decided to make an appointment there anyway. Getting an appointment was easy (I needed nights or weekends only), the store is like a little jewelbox- so pretty and very well kept! Every member of the staff was so helpful and friendly every time I visited! The deal I got was unbeatable and I was thrilled with my alterations- thanks Alla!! I would highly recommend shopping at Castle Couture for your wedding dress!!

Castle Couture is the perfect place to find the dress for your big day! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by all the friendly workers. I had been to several other dress shops before, but Castle Couture had a perfect blend of all the ones I had previously been to - I had been unhappy previously by several stores in which I was either unable to see the dress selection because I was placed in a dressing room upon arriving, or the dress selection was so disorganized and not taken care of that I was completely turned off by the store. I loved that I was able to look through the selection of neatly kept dresses to find ones I was interested in trying. The most amazing part of my experience was that Colleen knew from her first glance at me which dress she wanted me to try on, despite that it had been nothing like anything I had tried before. As soon as it was on, I knew it was the one! She found the perfect accessories to highlight the gown as well. You will not be disappointed by any experience with Castle Couture!

I had an excellent experience at Castle Couture. I went in with 1 dress style that I wanted and it just did not flatter me. I worked with Sheila and she showed me different styles and I ended up finding one that I loved and left that day with my dress. I couldn't have found my dream dress without her knowledge of the dresses and patience. I would recommend Castle Couture to any future bride.

I had an amazing experience at Castle Couture! I had the pleasure of working with both Colleen and Sheila. When i began dress shopping there always seemed to be a big snow storm on the days i was scheduled to try on dresses. On the day after one of those storms the owner saw that i was hoping to wedding dress shop early that morning so he called one of the consultants and she was there within minutes! I was able to try on as many dresses as i needed and i never felt as though i was being rushed out on the two different occasions that i visited the store. Both ladies were extremely professional, kind, considerate, and knowlegeable. I had visited many other stores in NJ and no other store compared. The dress selection was very unique and very fashionable and the prices are reasonable. I even participatd in the fashion show and had a blast, got some good wedding tips and met some very nice people. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Castle Couture without any reservations and I thank them so very much for providing such an amazing experience and service!

I loved my experience at castle couture. I Called and got an Appt. the same day! The staff and especially my consultant "Laura Akel" was very Nice, professional, and patient. I was impressed they kept the store open after hrs. till I found my dress. I don't have enough wonderful things to say about Castle Couture! As soon as I walked in, I knew this was the place that I would find my dress. Castle Couture really listens to their brides and goes out of their way to find you what you want. Their salon has a large variety of gowns in all styles and price points. Colleen was phenomenal in working with me to try different gowns and find the gown that would make my wedding vision come true. Everyone there works as a team and helped to find the perfect accessories to complete my wedding look. I just wanted to leave a review of Castle Coture, I dont normally write reviews but I feel its absolutely necessary. Castle Coture was my last resort of looking for Wedding Dresses. I have literally gone everywhere, as well as have been mistreated by other bridal shops. At castle coture the moment I walked in I felt like a Princess, I was greeted very kindly and so were my 3 children that tagged along with me. I was then given my consultant whom was extremely nice and went above and beyond my expectations. I told her my price range and what I was looking for and Waaalaaaaaa......she pulled the RIGHT dress!There was my dress!!!...Actually found 2 dresses that I completely loved and of course could only get one. The bridal consultant was fantastic, patient, kind hearted, and truly cared about how I wanted to look. Even gave me advice on flower girl dresses even though I was not purchasing them there. Castle coture is fantastic, extremely clean, and friendly. I really apprecieate how they were happy to see my children there and not annoyed.. I bought my dress that day and I highly recommend Castle Coture for any special occassion!! Beyond my dress they also have the florist and jewerlers all in one spot there...Its a place you dont want to miss. Thank You Castle Coture

I had such a wonderful experience purchasing my dress at Castle Couture. After visiting a ton of bridal shops in the Central New Jersey area, I felt like finding my perfect dress was going to be impossible, until I met Laura at Castle Couture. She negotiated between the dress I envisioned myself in and the vision my mother had of my dress. I was amazed that she was able to find a dress that both I and my mom loved, which was so important to me. Her patience and passion when helping to find my perfect dress helped make this the fairy tale experience I always dreamed it would be. Best of all, she find my perfect dress in my budget! Another thing I love about this store is that they have a day during the week when they are opened late. I have always been able to make an appointment that is convenient for me. Laura and all of the other consultants are all so friendly and knowledgeable which has made this aspect of my wedding planning a piece of cake.

She is so patient and kind compared to all the other consultants at some of the other stores I've been to. All the consultants are fabulous at Castle Couture. Colleen keeps your taste and budget in mind, determined to find you something that you will love. She is willing to work with you to get your ideal dress in the price range you need. Marlboro Diamond Plaza also has bridal shows that give out great perks if you attend. I recommend working with Colleen at Castle Couture over any other bridal boutique any day! I just bought my dress at Castle Couture and LOVED everything they did for me. I worked with Colleen, who was, in my opinion, way better than all of the other boutiques I've visited in NJ. She was patient and professional and was not pushy at all. The worst thing is when you go to stores and they just push you into every dress. Colleen knew exactly what my budget was, what my taste level was and brought me only the best dresses. She also worked with us on pricing and was very flexible. I had the absolute BEST wedding dress shopping experience at Castle Couture! We happened to be a walk-in without an appointment, but all of the staff were extremely kind and helpful, and allowed us to come in and try on bridal gowns anyway! Colleen was very patient while I tried on several dresses. She was extremely knowledgeable; and she ended up picking out my gown! We were never rushed during the process, we felt like our needs were personally attended to, and most of all, everyone made the experience so much FUN and memorable. The atmosphere is spacious and elegant, but not at all ostentatious. Our experiences for our fittings were just as much fun. We were never made to wait, everything was ready, and everyone in the store made us feel special. I would recommend anyone to go to Castle Couture for their bridal gown or evening wear search- you will be extremely happy!

I was beyond happy with my experience at Castle Couture. I the staff was really helpful when I was having a hard time finding dress that made me get the "wow" feeling when I put it on. They stayed helpful and professional even after I purchased my dress unlike some stores that get your money and then don't want to deal with you anymore. They have a great selection also.

I worked with Laura, who worked really hard to get me the right dress at the right price. She, Colleen, and their manager (Rita??) were terrific in helping me get into the shop and staying late so that I could get my dress ordered and stay on a very tight timeline.

What a great bridal shop!! I totally recommend this store to purchase your gown and accesories at. The staff was very helpful. I knew the designer I wanted so we went from there. Paloma Blanca - silk. GORGEOUS! I also was very lucky to fit into the sample perfectly, bought it! Alla was also amazing with the alterations. I got my veil and bag there as well. I had been to a few other shops and the experiences were truly frightening! I enjoyed myself everytime I went in. Also its nice that the decor is pretty and does make it feel special. I felt amazing on my wedding day. I told my husband we are renewing our vows yearly so I can keep wearing the gown!

I had a great experience at Castle Couture. I came in without an appointment not expecting to find anything but I found the perfect dress! They were very accomodating and had a great selection. Laura was very patient and helpful! I would highly recommend this place! It is a wonderful alternative to going to New York City!

An amazing shop with incredible service! They have great variety of gowns in such a beautiful upscale shop. It feels like you've walked into a European mansion! At Castle Couture, they always make you feel like a queen and are so helpful here! I was a champagne bride on a beer budget but they helped me find the perfect beautiful gown that fit my taste and budget! I fell in love with a beautiful Casablanca gown and never looked back. Nancy was especially helpful as I searched for my gown and worked with me to make some custom alterations and helped me find the right accessories to complete my look! Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Castle Couture!

Simply amazing! I could not recommend a better place. The staff and the owner were so helpful and generous. After trying 5 different stores for my mothers dress she finally found it! Also has gorgeous Jewlery and headpieces which I would up getting the same day!

Finding the perfect wedding dress starts with finding the perfect bridal boutique. I first went to Castle Couture, without an appointment, and they welcomed me with open arms. After going to big name stores i realized that I would not find a better deal and better customer service anywhere else beside Castle Couture. I worked with Shiela. She was a big help and only gave an honest opinion. I purchased the perfect dress at the perfect price. I would recommend Castle Couture to any bride looking for the princess treatment and a one stop shop for her wedding. ASK FOR SHEILA! :]

Nancy was my consultant at Castle Couture. She was the one that found my dress! Nancy was wonderful to work with and listened to my concerns. I also got very personalized attention at the store and it was a great overall experience.

Their accessories (veils, jewelry, headpieces etc) are overpriced though so go elsewhere for those.

I went to Castle Couture after going just about everywhere in Central NJ. I hadn't found "the one", and I hoped I would find it there and I did! My only complaint was I could only try on 1 gown during my visit. I am a street size 14 and was looking for a mermaid/trumpet gown. Unfortunately they only had those types of gowns in sample size 12 which was impossible. I found that was the case in all of the other stores I shopped at as well, but the 1 thing Castle Couture did that others did not was they had someone try gowns on for me. The had both a wedding gown model, and an employee try the gowns on. I truly appreciate this service as nothing is more embarrasing than being stuffed into a gown that's too small.

I bought my wedding dress here and had a lovely experience. I worked with nancy, who I absolutely loved. Every time I came in she made me feel like family. I would definitely recommend the store for anyone looking for a bridal gown, and definitely ask for Nancy !!!

The sales expert Marisa was just wonderfull and made my experience really special. Not only was she quick and attentive, but she also really lessioned to my visions, and showed me some really awesome dresses, she also had a lot knowledge of the fashion Industry and dress making which is a huge plus, when shopping for your perfect dress :)

I worked with Colleen at Castle Couture. She helped me not only find the perfect dress but she enahnced the dress with added "bling" and a perfect headpiece and veil. They entire staff at castle couture was very helpful and all very stylish and in fashion so you know they know what looks good. Their dresses definitely have more quality and style and variety than any other place i shopped. if you're looking for something unique and nothing anyone has ever seen before then definitely go to castle couture. The boutique itself is beautiful and they make all their clients feel very "VIP". I had a great experience shopping and purchasing there.

I came in looking for one dress specifically but with an open mind to try on others. Colleen had me try on something I never would have expected to like and its perfect! Everytime I call the store they are very helpful and friendy. I will definitely reccommend this boutique to my friends!

Just because I think it's hard to be "perfect" I gave several 4.5. But, Marisa was my saleswoman and she was helpful, flexible, sweet, and not pushy at all. it was my first dress shopping experience and it was quite enjoyable. she picked out several dresses that were a perfect match for what I was looking for.

I loved my dress. However, the dress was measured for me and when it arrived I was dismayed to find that it was a touch short. However, the seamstress, Alla, was extremely professional and assured me she could fix it. She did and it was beautiful! Thank you!

Great place for bridesmaids dresses! I would only talk with Nancy because some of the other sales associates were a bit snooty. When my mom was trying on a dress one of the sales associates basically called her fat...my mom is a size 4!! Crazy. So again...i would highly recommend working with Nancy!

I bought my headpiece at Castle Couture, they had a nice variety of tiaras and headpieces. It looked beautiful in my hair the day of the wedding. The quality of service was mediocre though, I felt like I was being rushed.

Castle Couture has a huge selection of amazing and beautiful wedding gowns. I planned my wedding in three months and was hoping to find a dress that was going to make me look gorgeous! Unfortunately for me, the lead time for purchasing a wedding dress is 6-9 months and I did not have that luxury. Colleen was up for the challenge. She was absolutely fabulous. I loved working with her. I gave her no idea on what type of dress I wanted, but she pulled many styles until we found the right one. In less than two hours I had the perfect dress. I could not have asked for a better person to work with.

The only issue that I had was that it was a sample dress that many people had tried on, but they assured me that all the issues would be corrected (some parts needed to be tacked on the ruching). I found the same dress in another bridal shop that was in a lot better condition. But, I felt like I was betraying Colleen by going to another shop. She was so helpful and after all, she was the one who found the dress for me! So I bought the dress from Castle Couture.

Colleen helped me pick out the perfect veil and headpiece which completed my dress. I really could not have done it without her!! She was the absolute best!!.

All my issues started with the alterations. I had Alla and it started out fine. Remember I planned my wedding in three months and she was able to fit me in. I was originally told that we would have one appointment for her to measure and then i would come in the following week to pick up my dress. The two appointments were made the same day. The first fitting no issues. She pinned and measured. The following week, I came back and the dress was still pinned and she remeasured. I was so surprised that the alterations were not completed!! Whatever, there were still almost two weeks left until the wedding and I had complete faith and was not worried.

I went back the third time and tried on the dress when the alterations were completed (taken in a little on the sides, cups added, the dress shortened (simple hem - no beads), and the bustle added). When the dress was bustled, it was too long. I asked her to adjust it and she added two more ribbons to tie the bustle higher. After she added them, she bagged the dress and gave it back to me. She told me that she had put the cardboard in and and hung the train and not to open until the wedding day because it would be too hard to put back together. First, have you ever heard of not trying on the dress after alterations were completed?? and then to tell you not to try it on again until the wedding day?

I didn't know what to say and I am not a confrontational person, so I brought the dress home and tried it on. To my horror, the dress was still too long and now with the two extra ribbons to tie, you could see the inside netting at the bottom and the zipper was broken. I called Castle Couture and explained to them the main issues with the alterations and asked if there was another seamstress that could help me, because Alla made me very uncomfortable. They seemed to be very accommodating and had me come in the next morning (a Wednesday). My wedding is now only days away on Sunday, so my options were limited. I brought the dress back and tried it on and Alla came out and asked me what was wrong. I explained it to her and she was less than helpful. Colleen came to my rescue again and pointed out there were a few areas that still needed to be tacked (which was never done), the cups were not sewn in correctly and the dress was too long.

I came back later that afternoon to pick up the dress. This is the last thing that I had time to do. I came back to pick up the dress and again it was in the bag and handed to me. I always thought that after alterations, you are supposed to try on the dress to make sure the alterations were what you were expecting. Especially when the alterations cost me almost $500!! With the wedding days away, I just accepted what she did. I didn't feel that I had any options.

The big day came and before I even walked down the aisle, the dress had a rip in it. It was still too long and at times I was stepping on it. But the attendants at the Pleasantdale Chateau came to my rescue and safety pinned my dress, so that you could not see the rip. Made it through the reception and during our first dance, the bustle started falling and I needed to be fixed again. I had so many safety pins in my dress that it was absolutely ridiculous. I couldn't dance at my reception because I was afraid that the safety pins would not hold. Alla single handily ruined my wedding.

The dress was gorgeous and I would definitely recommend the store, but not the alterations. Buy your dress from there and then take it to someone you trust and can rely on!!

I went to Castle Couture after recieving a coupon at a bridal show. When I went to visit as soon as I entered I already thought to myself "this place is going to be too expensive". I had gone during a trunk show, they did inform me before I came that a designer woud be there, however I was not aware that you are only going to try on their dresses. After trying on a couple of this guys dresses I was ready to leave, they were all a size 6 and I was not happy with any of them. Fianlly before leaving I found a dress, and I got an awesome deal on it. I was surprised I though I would be spening 5000+ here but I got my dress for under 3000 which was good. Everyone was very nice to me the day I was buying my dress, so I decised to make another appt. to look for my bridesmaids dresses. I had an appt. weeks in advance and when we showed up they looked like a deer in headlights. Apparently they were having another trunk show that day that I was not aware of. Mind you I brought all 6 of my bridesmaids and my mother an motehr in law and we all had intentions on purchasing that day. Not one person was assisting us when we were in there. They left us to look around while they helped the brides. I was so turned off that we alomost left until finally someone came to help us get in the fitting rooms to try dresses on. We were rushed out and I really thought about not going back there, especially after I purchased my dress there and we were treated so poorly. Eventually we went back because they had nice bridesmaids dresses and it was really just more convienent for us. After the day I actually purchased my dress everytime I went in there I felt as though they already had my money so I was no longer important. Anyways my dress was perfect I bought my jewlery there too which was overpriced, but it was 2 days before the wedding and I really needed it. Overall I did not feel special when I was there, it's like one in and one out.

My dress was beautiful but becasue I did not spend the kind of money they were looking for me to spend I dont feel I got the service I deserved. I was not made to feel like a bride at all. My last fitting my bridal consultant wasnt even there and they had my mom put me in my dress and didnt even offer to help. We got there and my vails were still in the platic packaging all folded up with tissue paper stuck to my crystals.

I recently went to Castle Couture with my mother to find a MOB dress, the overall experience was awful. The store is so cold from the moment you walk in; we were greeted at the front desk and immediately given an associate to help us. She was less than helpful, she asked no information regarding the function besides does my mother want a long or short dress. We were guided to a rack to start picking out dresses on our own! For a place that considers themselves a high end boutique I did not expect to be picking out my own dresses, I could have went to the local mall for that type of service. The selection was minimal, every dress on the rack was similar to the next with little variation to style, I asked the associate’s opinion on what she would put my mother in since she should be the expert we were given no guidance. After WE selected a few dresses we were brought to a fitting room, the associate left my mom in a dressing room full of dresses to put on every one herself. The dresses were horrible, one after the next, I asked her to pull some additional options, none of which were fitting for her body nor the event. Unfortunately she never asked the type of event, the dresses she pulled were dresses I would expect to find guests in at a black tie event, not the MOB. We left extremely disappointed never to return again, between the service and selection neither would keep me coming back to this boutique.
