Great DJs! Not too bad as far as price (we could have gotten cheaper) but Heather basically took control of the reception and made sure things were done on schedule, etc. It's a husband/wife team so there is always one person running the music (usually John) and Heather is mainly the MC and "coordinator". They came to our home to meet w/ us and were very responsive in returning phone calls. They even helped us with our "slide show" presentation when we had problems with the music... they put together the songs we wanted and played them on their speakers. Highly recommend! :)

We are a Husband and Wife DJ Team. Castle Entertainment offers DJ Services, Bands, or both! We also offer Strings for your Ceremony or Chocolate Fountains! Castle provides special services to customize any event. John and Heather
meet with you in person to discuss the music for your special day. If you are looking for a company that takes care of the little details, that would be Castle. All of our clients have complimented us in regards to our wide variety of
music FOR ALL AGES. In addition, Heather enjoys keeping the event running smoothly by taking care of all of the announcements and directing the Bridal Party through all of the Introductions and Main Dances. There is a Cordless Mic at
all times. Heather has a Radio/Voice-Over background, so her delivery/announcements are professional and easy to understand. She has an outgoing/friendly personality as your MC. John, is a wonderful Singer/Entertainer. Our
customers have requested John to perform a special song, such as a song for the First Dance. John sings off to the side, while the Bride and Groom are centered in the middle of the Dance Floor. These services offer something unique for you

What music genres are in your collection?

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
Fun for all ages! Every wedding is different. John and I read the crowd. Through experience, we know how to keep everyone on the dance floor.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
Absolutely not. A lot of variety of music keeps everyone happy! Although, some of our music is edited.
What is your usual attire?
Business attire.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Yes. Although, we have over 10,000 songs, so the odds of us having the song are good. We also keep up with all of the current music on a weekly basis.
How many other DJs do you work with?
John and Heather, the Owners of Castle Entertainment are your DJ's for the night.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
It depends on the event and the time of year.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes! We meet in person one time and thereafter on the phone.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Yes. We will customize any event.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Yes.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
LED Lighting and a variety of special lighting (Disco Ball, Laser Lights).
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We usually show up at least 1 1/2 hours prior to start time. It is our policy to contact the hall and speak with the Banquet Manager prior to any event to discuss details and to introduce ourselves. Also, if they can't provide a table, we do have one.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
Depends.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes. Heather is an Emcee/Wedding Coordinator but doesn't speak between every song. It also depends on how much interaction the Bride and Groom want during their reception.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Well, we can't give away all of our secrets but we keep things going!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No breaks. Usually, the Bride and Groom do provide a meal. We eat near our equipment, so music is constant.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
No breaks.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
There is another Husband and Wife Team as our backup.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
No. We spend a lot of time preparing one wedding per day.
What is your overtime rate?
Depends.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Yes. Not a lot. We are very reasonable.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We do require half down. The remaining amount is due 30 days before your date.
