My wife & I were married in the Kings Courtyard & reception held in the Kings Great Hall! The Castle is beautiful as is and requires very little decoration. The staff was very friendly along with our event coordinator who made our day run smoothly & on time! They provided us with suggestions and a list of bendors they work with from Dj's, photographers, caterers, etc. We were nervous to hold it here because of the distance we are away but when we sent out invitations with the picture of the Castle on it alot of couples looked at it as a 2nd honeymoon! We had a huge turnout. Charlevoix is a beautiful, quiet area, well worth the trip! Words don't describe the beauty of this Castle I encourgae you to take a tour!

Castle Farms is a very unique and beautiful place to have your wedding. The day of the wedding our coordinator and her assistant were there with us all day making sure everything went smooth. It was flawless. There are so many beautiful places for pictures. Our guests loved it!

Castle Farms is a gorgeous place to get married. The interior of the venue is already so decorated you won't have to do a thing. You get so much for the cost of this place. And we LOVED the fact that we were able to bring in our own liquor and caterer. Not many wedding venues will allow that kind of flexibility but luckily CF is all about that =) And shout-outs go to our on-site coordinator, Janelle and her staff, they were AMAZING and took care of everything flawlessly. And actually my husband's best man signed up to have his wedding at CF on our wedding day because they loved the venue so much!

Castle farms is an absolute fairytale-come-true setting. Any girl would feel like a princess here and yet it is rugged enough for the groom to enjoy the location as well. There are tons of great photo sites for unforgettable memories. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because we had a mix up with the time of our ceremony, however in the end they did make right by their mistake. Also as far as cost, it was the most value for what you got because you can bring in all your own vendors. My only problem with it was that any hour past 11pm was $1,000/hr! Our party was going great and we had to end it early. We all went downtown to Whitney's instead. Overall, we had an absolutely beautiful wedding and that is what we will remember most.

Up in Northern Michigan I was looking for a place to get married and I found this. It is not easy to find a beatiful place with a castle. I would recommend that this be a place to check out for an outside wedding.

the Staff at Castle Farms is FANTASTIC! After you have chosen to use the venue, you are given a planner for your event. Ellen VanderZee was our coordinator for our entire event, kept us on track (as much as possible). Although the entire staff is very helpful and accommodating. The venue is beautiful and fairy tale in it's look, very elegant. It is a little higher in cost but worth the money if you want that fairy tale wedding of your dreams.

Castle Farms worked with my on my wedding rehearsal date and time because my entire bridal party was coming from either the other side of the state, or all the way from Colorado. The Castle's wedding planner was a girl I knew from high school, so she knew exactly what I wanted and how to get it for me.

It was a dream wedding and my guests enjoyed every min. of it!

Everything about this venue was a positive. It is a bit pricey; however, it is really nice because they really provide everything (day of coordinator, centerpieces, table cloths, decorations). The total package saves you money. The grounds are gorgeous and there are several areas you can choose to have your wedding and reception. All of the employees are very nice, professional, and responsive. I was very happy with our experience with Castle Farms.

Entire office staff was very nice, especially Anora. Our wedding was on a Friday at the end of the off season (early May), so we got 40% off. We had 3 people who oversaw the event and coordinated details with us directly, and at least a dozen people helping to set up and groom the grounds. The Knight's Hall was beautifully decorated by the Castle staff, and the ceremony in the Queen's Court was also awesome! There was a wedding right before mine in the courtyard, but the Castle had the first bride's decorations down in plenty of time to get mine up and pictures done before the ceremony. They were very responsive to my questions and concerns, and responded promptly to my e-mails and phone calls. They are used to working with brides from out of town. We had a Scottish-themed wedding and were so pleased to find such a perfect backdrop. Many guests told us that ours was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to!

At times it was difficult to get a hold of the staff to ask questions about the location when my other vendors needed to know something about the facility. However, we got an excellent deal...because we got married in the winter and booked more than a certain number of months in advance we got nearly 50% off.

What a wonderful Place to get married! As a photographer I never run out of beautiful spots to photograph my brides and grooms. Very professional and wonderful staff.
