It’s impossible to express our gratitude for all you’ve meant to us over the past few months in the planning of Rebecca and Vince’s wedding. From the first day we met with you to tour Castleton Farms and later as our wedding coordinator, you quickly became and will always remain our trusted and faithful friend. You organized meetings for us with all the vendors needed for a flawless wedding. During the months of planning when I called with a question or thought, you had already taken care of my concern. I immediately realized how efficient you are and the care you give to every detail which made for a picture-perfect wedding – including sending someone during the actual wedding ceremony to retrieve the marriage license out of the trunk of a car 10 miles away!!! Of course, how could we ever forget the famous phase… “it NEVER rains at Castleton”!!!

The staff was very helpful with all of our wedding needs and plans.

This was a great wedding venue. It was very nice having wedding vendors that typically worked the site and knew exactly how everything worked. The property is gorgeous and Darla Walker makes sure it looks great for the wedding day. I received many comments after the rehearsal stating it was the fastest and smoothest rehearsal they had been to. There is a plan and everyone knows the plan and it runs smooth. On the wedding day, all of the staff is connected with head sets and that helps the event run as planned.
During the wedding planning, Darla keeps up with all of the vendors and makes sure deadlines are met. Also, she sets up one full day of meetings with all of the vendors and you really have the main picture of what your wedding is going to look like at the end of that day. I am the type of person that needs a lot of guidance for decorations, food, etc. and so this venue was perfect for that. Everyone you work with has been out to the property and can help lead you in a direction that will make the wedding beautiful. If you are a bride that already has your wedding envisioned a specific way, this property will help make it even better.

Everything about our wedding day was more than we could imagine! Castleton Farms, especially Darla, was extremely professional and thought of every need ahead of time. We were able to enjoy this special day without having to worry about anything. Darla was a dream to work with. She provided thoughtful advice, beautiful design services, quality vendor referrals, and an overall exceptional experience. She and her staff were always prepared and easy to work with. Everything with Castleton Farms was perfect! All of our guests had a wonderful experience. After our wedding, I was truly impressed that a number of our guests, spanning a wide array of different ages and personalities, told me that the staff at Castleton Farms was very attentive to their individual needs.

When we were looking at different venues, one of the things that made Castleton Farms attractive to us was the event planning included. From the outset, Darla Walker was extremely informative, and throughout the entire process of planning our wedding, the staff at Castleton Farms was available, personable and extremely professional.

A great deal of the guests' experience at a wedding depends upon the music, catering and other essentials that normally come from outside vendors. Another great thing about Castleton Farms is their relationship with the best vendors in East Tennessee. Very early on, Darla met with us for a tasting at All Occasions Catering. The food was amazing! We decided to use All Occasions Catering for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. The food at both events was delicious (I still crave the stuffed chicken to this day).

Darla also accompanied us when we met with Waldorf Photographic Art. Bill was very attentive and a great listener. We had a specific budget in mind, and Bill worked very hard to put a package together for us that we were happy with in regards to both the services provided and the cost. Sarah Bolen met us in the Old City and we had a great time taking engagement pictures for our "Save the Date" cards. Perry and Sarah were at Castleton for our wedding day, and our wedding pictures are nothing short of exquisite.

Castleton Farms has a number of unique venues located on their property, and we enjoyed each and every one of them. We had our rehearsal dinner outside on the deck of the Carriage House. Our guests had a great time hanging out by the fire-pit after dinner.

The interior design of the Mannor House is very impressive. My wife's bridesmaids got ready in style upstairs, and my groomsmen watched football on an HD flatscreen while getting ready in the Grooms quarters.

For our October wedding, the flowers in the Vineyard and fall foliage were picturesque and nothing short of magic. The reception afterward in the Tented Pavilion was also excellent. We worked with All Occasions Party Rentals and had the interior accented with chinese lanterns in our wedding colors. Our guests really enjoyed both the cocktail hour and dinner. Then the DJ started and everyone hit the dance-floor. I personally liked the Tented Pavilion because it was large enough to accomodate all of our guests (with room to spare) for both dinner and dancing in one location.

I am so happy that we entrusted our wedding day to Darla Walker and Castleton Farms! If you are considering having your wedding in East Tennessee, Castleton Farms is the best of the best.

My entire wedding experience with Castleton Farms was perfect. I wanted an outdoors wedding in the fall, and began searching for venues online. Castleton Farms immediately stood out just by their website. When I met Darla Walker at a Bridal Show, I knew Castleton was at the top of my list. My husband and I checked out a few venues and the one thing that sold Castleton more than others was the wedding planning service of Darla. When we toured the venue, she listened to our ideas, our concerns, and promised to work within our budget. We left feeling like we wanted to be a "Castleton Couple" and that the venue was exactly what we dreamed of for our envisioned small, elegant, and classic wedding.

The entire wedding planning process with Darla was simple - which is what I wanted. She helped coordinate and attend meetings with each of our wedding vendors - the best in East Tennessee. Darla was available 24/7 via text, email, and phone call. She responded very quickly to all communications and offered great advice. Darla has a great relationship with all the vendors that we used, which made meetings fun and productive.

We used All Occasions Catering for the rehearsal dinner and reception, Waldorf Photography for engagement pictures and wedding, Sam Franklin for floral, Ogle Entertainment for the music, and All Occasions Party Rentals for the decorations. ALL vendors were extremely professional and executed their jobs perfectly to make my wedding a wonderful experience. The guests were raving about the food. I provided minimal descriptions for Sam and the bouquets/decorations were exactly how I pictured them to be. And Waldorf Photography has been a joy to work with throughout - from engagement pictures to now designing our wedding album.

The rehearsal dinner was on the Carriage House deck and it was a great venue to have a bbq themed dinner with the wedding party hanging out around the fire pit afterwards. Some of my bridesmaids and I stayed at the Manor house that night, and it was extremely convenient to wake up and not have to rush anywhere. Brunch was provided and it was a stress-free way to start the day.

That was one of the best things about the day for me: stress free. Knowing Darla was in charge of everything and I did not have to worry about anything really made my wedding day enjoyable. She was attentive to my needs and to the entire wedding party. My bridesmaids and I had a great time getting ready in the Manor House, while the groomsman chilled in the grooms quarters watching football on an HD TV. Our hair and make up was done by Bangs and Blush. It was great to have all services done at the location and not have to worry about getting to and from a salon. Jamie and Christian did an unbelievable job with the make up making all of my bridesmaids and myself gorgeous. Sybil did an unreal job on all hair, making sure everyone was happy. I have never felt or looked more beautiful!

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. It was a fall day in East Tennessee, temperature was about 70, and the venue was in the vineyard with fall foliage all around - just what I wanted. All of our guests had a great time, and I am still receiving compliments to this day regarding our wedding and what a great venue Castleton Farms is.

Overall, I can't recommend Castleton Farms enough. Darla, the Castleton Farms staff, and the other vendors worked together to make our dream wedding come true.

The Castleton Farms staff went above and beyond anything e could have hoped for. Darla Walker, the coordinator, made my wedding day completely stress free. I never had to wonder where I was supposed to be, or when I was supposed to be there. She took care of everything. The venue was absolutely stunning! I would recommend to anyone to give Castleton Farms a chance. They can and will accomodate you! They made my wedding day wonderful!

Castleton Farms is definatly a one of a kind wedding venue...I liked all the other places I looked at but the second I saw Castleton everything else just couldnt compete. Darla was awesome to work with, I just relaxed and she took care of everything. She made my wedding PERFECT!

Darla and all the staff at Castleton Farms were extremely professional and very easy to work with. They were willing to work with our budget as well to give us the most value for what we were paying. We really appreciated how the Castleton staff did most of the planning and organizing for us. Once we came up with an idea for what we wanted for our wedding, they did all the time-consuming work for us. This allowed us to have a beautiful wedding that caused very little stress to us! The house and outdoor grounds at Castleton are gorgeous and was the perfect setting for our outdoor wedding. When we look back on our wedding, we think how perfectly it went and we're so grateful to Castleton for making it happen!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Kelly and I plan such a beautiful wedding for her and my son-in-law, Keith! I could not have imagined a more perfect venue. From the moment Kelly and I discovered Castleton Farms, we knew this was a special place. Once you see Castleton, nothing else compares.

Darla, I can’t begin to tell you how much everyone enjoyed our May 7 event. We are still receiving compliments! The grounds looked gorgeous, and the views were breathtaking. You are a very talented lady and fun to work with! In having your brides create their inspiration boards, you help them define their style and envision what their wedding will look like. Our meetings with you were always fun and productive. Our “Experience Castleton” day, where we met many of our wonderful vendors, was great and helped us narrow down our choices. Kelly, her bridesmaids, and I all loved spending the night before the wedding in the beautiful manor. The bridal suite is exquisite. Kelly and Keith’s wedding very much expressed who they are, and everyone had a grand time!

For anyone considering Castleton Farms as a wedding venue, you will not be disappointed. It is truly, “Nothing less than unforgettable.” So, thank you again, Darla! I will always be proud to say that Kelly was a Castleton bride!

My daughters wedding was June 18, 2011. We looked at every possible venue in Knoxville for the reception and Castleton Farms became our first choice. It was important to my daughter to be married in her home church, but have the ceremony off-site.

Darla Walker at Castleton worked with us throughout the planning to create the dream wedding my daughter and son-in-law desired. She developed an inspiration board early on in the process, and looking at the final pics of the wedding she nailed it. The similarities are remarkable.

The vendors Castleton uses are creative, and pay close attention to detail.
They can take any idea and make it better. Darla coordinated all the vendors so they were on the same page.

I worried about having the reception outdoors in case it were to rain. Sure enough, the day of the wedding it not only poured down rain, but it hailed. All I could do was pray.

Darla came to the church and calmly told me that the sides were up on the tent and the the cocktail hour had moved from the vineyard to the carriage house. She was in complete control of what was going on so that I could focus on my daugher and enjoy the day.

Right before the cermony was to begin the rain stopped. Waldorf Photography was able to get some beautiful sunset shots and the fireworks went on as planned.

I would highly recommend Castleton Farms to anyone planning a wedding. We are still receiving compliments.

My husband and I searched all over for a perfect venue and none of them fit the vision we had. The very last venue we stumbled upon was Castleton Farms and as we were touring the property I turned to my fiance' at the time and said "this is it" and whatever I saw after that I knew would not compare! I am new to Knoxville and do not know any vendors and Castleton gave us their list of vendors and that really helped us decide who was the best fit for our wedding. They knew our budget and did their best to stay within it. We really appreciate that! Darla kept me on schedule and was there anytime I had a big or small question. I never doubted the team at Castleton but the day of the wedding they blew my expectations out of the water...any worry or question that I had that day...Darla and her team had ALREADY thought of it and had executed it! The beauty of working so closely with vendors and Castleton Farms staff is they are with you every step of the planning process and they understand and see your vision and execute it flawlessly! They are professionals in the wedding business and have their venue running like a well oiled machine! If you want a wedding and want it to exceed all your dreams...have it there! Castleton Farms is a uniquely gorgeous setting for a wedding, reception and related activities. Because some aspects of my daughter's wedding were do-it-yourself, we came onto the property two days prior and took advantage of the beauty and variety of areas at Castleton to do the bridesmaids' luncheon on the patio overlooking the vineyard; the rehearsal dinner on the poolside patio overlooking the pond; the wedding ceremony in the vineyard and the reception in the carriage house. The bride and bridesmaids even stayed overnight and readied themselves the next morning in the plushness of the big house. It was incredibly convenient to do all of this at one site!

While the vision for a casually elegant Southern wedding ceremony and reception was created completely by the bride and her groom, Darla Walker was indispensible as the primary person helping turn that vision into reality. She met with us, poured over inspiration boards, offered valuable suggestions and helped us determine the best way to get things done, including great money-saving suggestions. Some of the DIY aspects were the arbor for the wedding ceremony, along with peach-filled crates, a variety of roses in mason jars and vases and stacks of old books for centerpieces at the reception. The bride's aunt volunteered to put together the decor -- a daunting task for a casual gardner, working with hundreds of flowers and all of these other elements. She was a devoted and incredible resource herself, but she never could have pulled it off without Darla guiding her and helping -- even late into the night -- throughout the two days leading up to the wedding. Together, they interpretted the decor plan my daughter created and presented it to perfection! When small snags did occur, as they are certain to do with so many aspects all at one location, Darla and the staff were quick to overcome them.

Likewise, the rentals, catering services and the makeup artist obtained through Castleton were outstanding. We did select an outside vendor for photography and hair, which Castleton accommodated well.

Castleton Farms, Darla Walker and the entire staff were true partners from the time we first visited the venue through the last hugs and goodbyes to our guests.

I had a wonderful wedding but unfortunately, someone hit a telephone pole and power was lost in the whole county for the remainder of the night. We had to move table and chairs out to the Carriage House deck yet I was a bit disappointed that seating was not brought back into the Carriage House which was the only area with power, for my guests for the remainder of the reception. Besides that, no venue in Knoxville can compare to Castleton Farms. It is by far the most elegant and unique venue. Castleton Farm's wedding coordinator, Darla Walker, was by my side all night and jumped when I called. I couldn't have made it through the night without her. The power going out was the main issue and left me feeling like I didn't get the value of what I paid for. I suggest this venue for any occasion.

Beautiful venue! The Castleton Farm staff paid attention to every detail. There was excellent customer service regarding coordination of vendors.

This venue is absolutely beautiful. The photographs are breathtaking. I would recommend using the entire facility. We used the bridal pavilion for the ceremony, the vineyard for the cocktail hour and the tent for the reception. We added a dance floor to the end of the tent and it worked out great.

Darla is fantastic to work with and has great ideas. Her organizational skills are amazing.
