Catering by Michael's

We had our wedding at Independence Grove and they only use Catering by Michael’s and I know way they do now. The food was amazing and so where the chefs. We had a blast at the tasting and they make is so personal, it’s just you and the guest you bring. The chef came in and worked out all the dietary issues we had. Changed menu items around and created new stuff just for me. I am vegetarian and I am never tasted something so good in my life at a wedding for a vegetarian. My plate was empty when they took it away. I loved the verity of appetizers they offer the Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Fingers is a must and they also made Fruit Kabobs for us so refreshing and with having Vegans at the wedding they truly loved having something to snack on. We had their Ice Cream Sunday Bar instead of a cake and that was the biggest hit a long with the late night snack of Soft Pretzels (Cinnamon and Sugar or Normal with cheese sauce if you wanted). They are so willing to work with everything you want for your day!! Please look into Catering by Michael’s you will not be let down.

So Catering by Michael's is not the cheapest caterer, but their food is delicious! We got so many comments on how the food was amazing, and they accommodated my last minute requests for a late night snack. Everything was great and the only thing I was upset about was that my husband didn't share his plate of food! (We were suppose to share two different meal options since they were so good, but he forgot.)

The cake from Catering by Michael's is contracted through Oak Mill Bakery and Deerfield Bakery. The cake tasting wasn't very good but I knew the two companies made delicious cakes, and the cake itself was delicious the day of.

The feedback from our guests was that they loved the Hour devours, the dinner & the dessert table!
Some guests said the at "the Hour devours melted in your mouth" I also received good feedback from our Vegetarian plates- they said the dinner and salad was very good!

Everything was very good.

We had our post nuptial party in the north pavilion at Independence Grove. The reservation, the catering, and all the details went through Jami at Catering by Michael's. We were extremely pleased with how everything turned out. The catering staff was very friendly and did a great job, and many of our guests commented on how good the food was. Jami was fantastic to work with from the very beginning all the way through to the day of the party. We highly recommend her and Catering by Michael's!

Catering by Michael's did an amazing job at our wedding. They are the exclusive caterer to Independence Grove so we didn't exactly pick them but I couldn't be happier with the choice. The food choices were amazing; there were literally dozens and dozens of options for appetizers, entrees and desserts. The entrees came out hot (all 200 of them) and the presentation was beautiful. Our sweet table was so impressive! There was a milk fountain! I obviously chose milk and cookies but didn't have any idea that it would be in the form of a fountain. The quality was unmatched and we're still receiving compliments from our guests about the food. They are definitely an example of you get what you pay for though so if you're looking for a budget caterer they might not be the way to go.
