catering on the boulevard

Catering on the Boulevard was terrific during the entire wedding planning process. The building doesn't look like anything fancy on the outside, but the inside is beautiful and able to accommodate a large number of guests. I was a little nervous about how the food would be since we booked the place before tasting anything, but everything was delicious. They make everything from scratch, which is incredible, and they smoke all sorts of different meats. We had the turkey and beef tips burgundy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and fruit salad- and they were all great. Not only is the food delicious, but the service was terrific. Cathy was very easy to talk to and work with. She called to remind me of upcoming deadlines which I wouldn't have realized without her help. They are willing to do anything you need. We were able to decorate everything the day before the wedding which saved a ton of hassle. We couldn't have found a better price for the total package. We were able to save a lot of money because they don't require that candle flames be completely enclosed; you only have to have something to catch the wax. Instead of spending lots of money on glass rentals for the candles, we found plastic holders used for flower pots and decorated them with ribbon which was easy and inexpensive. They also provided champagne glasses for the head table, cake cutting servers, and a nice background for the head table and cake table. They worked well with our photographers and DJ and were very courteous to our guests. I would recommend this reception location to anyone.
