CE DJ's ~Entertainment for Platinum Events

We hired CE Dj's George Confoey for our annual fundraiser and were very pleased with the event. Our event was outside/under a tent for 450 people, on a point overlooking Buzzards Bay. George not only kept a packed dance floor - he MC'd our event assisting with the flow of the evening, auction, etc. In addition, George helped us create a spectacular video presentation for our guests. George was reponsive and flexible during the planning process, and calm at crunch time. Fundraisers are different than weddings in the sense that every detail is not perfectly planned, and George worked well with our team of volunteers and helped us create a perfect evening for our guests. We couldn't have done it without him! THANK YOU!

George was fun and easy to work with. He was easy to get in touch with and allowed us to plan much of the music for our day right from his website. He was able to accomodate all our requests and helped to keep the energy high throughout the day.

We don't even know if Thank You is enough to tell George how awesome he made our wedding. It has been almost two weeks since we got married and people keep telling us how great the music was and how they didn't and couldn't stop dancing. On our first meeting I went in with a lot of opinions and a huge do not play list, and George was very easy to work with and accommodated all my requests. George provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The energy in the room when we walked in was incredible, George created a dance party for us with our guests which I have never seen before, but everyone, including us loved it. George also provided the uplighting which made the room even more beautiful. When we became engaged over two years ago, we realized that there would be many challenges ahead of us when planning for the big day. Not only do we live in Iowa, but the majority of our guests flew from across the country or drove long distances in order to attend our wedding in Newport, RI. Our guests spent a lot of money, time, and energy to be at our wedding, and we wanted them to have the most amazing time in order to make it well worth their while. This is the main reason why we immediately booked CE Dj's for our wedding, and it was the best decision we could have made. The energy and the atmosphere that George created for our wedding was the best we have ever experienced at a wedding, and trust me when I say we have been to a lot of weddings all over the Northeast within the past two years so we are quite knowledgeable on this subject. Not only this, but George was so easy to work with and so well-prepared for every meeting and phone conversation that we had with him. Between the energy and excitement that he created, along with all of the help and peace of mind that he gave us while planning a wedding so far away, there simply is no one better suited for the job. We had so many compliments during and after the wedding on how awesome our DJ was, and I think some of the guests were disappointed that they did not live closer to Rhode Island so that they could book CE Dj's for their own upcoming weddings. My wife and I could not be happier with CE DJ's and specifically George Confoey. The entire process was extremely smooth. So much so that with all of the stress and planning that takes place with a wedding our DJ experience was the least of our worries. Although we took the credit for the music selection, it was largely due in part to George as we are not musically inclined. What can I say; you're are the man! You told us from day one, "you would rock our wedding" and you did just that. I have never seen my portuguese family on the dance floor dancing all night like I did that day, lol WOW.. My best advice to anyone looking for a dj is look no further, if you are reading this George Confoey is your man.. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

George was amazing! My guest were on the dance floor right after dinner and they didn't get off the floor until the end of the night! All of my friends are still talking about how much fun they had.

George was extraordinarily professional, organized, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and willing to take risks. What I liked about him most is that we never heard him. He didn't try to make himself the show. It was apparent he made a concerted effort to keep every bit of the attention on the newly married couple. In fact, he went so far as to spoof our first dance (as per our request) and played along with the act accordingly. From the instant the first dance concluded, George entranced the crowd with his music and forced them to dance because of his timely choices. More importantly, George never allowed them a chance or second to stop. George also set up an extensive setting of lights throughout the venue, and was extremely accommodating when we asked him to make two gobo's that displayed my wife and I's monogram. George's services were, quite literally, perfect. Suffice it to say, I am looking to find an excuse to have a party just to use George again!

George was amazing from the start! He was very accommodating and assisted us throughout all of our planning stages. He is very friendly, approachable and professional!

All of our guests danced all night and had a blast! Everyone who attended our reception is still commenting on how great the DJ was and how perfect and fitting all of the music selections were!!

The up-lighting and the monogram brightened up the room and gave it a unique and classy style that our guests loved!!

George Confoey is an absolute pro! We went into the process of selecting a DJ unsure of what to do after attending nearly 20 weddings over the past two years without ever being overly impressed. That would not have been the case had we seen George! He was attentive to detail, open to suggestions, honored all of our requests and was friendly and accessible throughout the entire process. He even took still photos and made a slideshow set to music within 24 hours of the event...without ever being asked! As for the day itself, it was amazing. To sum everything up, I've never heard people chant "One More Song!" at the end of a wedding...until now!

George DJ'd my wedding on 6/5/10 and did a fantastic job! I stressed how important it was for my guests to be up and on the dance floor the whole night and that is exactly what happened! He played great music and there was never a dull moment out there. I couldn't have asked for a better night.

George was recommended to us by our event planner, Andria, at Infinite Events -- and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! His personalized website for couples with TONS of songs on it makes planning much easier than other DJ service I came across (and any song he doesn't have already he will get for you). It is incredibly organized.

George himself is fantastic to work with. Since we lived in Boston he was happy to do phone consultations when we couldn't go down to RI to meet with him. However, when we did meet him in person he was just great -- he took the time to get to know 'us' as a couple and the style we were looking for. The actual wedding day went smoothly and George did a great job getting everyone pumped up to have a great night. On top of it all, at the end of the night, he went out of his way to help out some friends who were stranded at the weddings site when he definitely didn't have to. I couldn't speak more highly!

We got lots of comments from our guests about how great the music was, both during dinner and also during dancing. Jon and I noticed that you played lots of our requests, including all of the right "important" songs (i.e. first dance, cake cutting, last dance, etc.). As requested, you also did not play any of the cheesy wedding songs, just plenty of the classics that everybody loves. You really took all of our suggestions to heart and we are extremely grateful for that. We're so glad we chose CE DJs and will be happy to refer you to our friends in the future! George did a great job. I was late on planning the songs and really the whole dj aspect of the wedding but the website had everything I needed and was intuitive. George spent an hour with me the day of to make sure all questions were answered and that I was comfortable with music. I did let George know what songs to not play - those were not played as well and any equivalent to those songs were not played. I recommend George for any event, he did a great job on my wedding.

I would strongly recommend Creative Entertainment. I had a day wedding which can be difficult to get people to dance during
and there were people on the dance floor the whole time. All the music was perfect and exactly what we asked for. We also had Creative Entertainment play the music at our wedding ceremony and it was done very professionally and was always on cue with the song for that moment. The planning process was super easy and George was great to work with. Always called me back right away and was willing to talk as many times as I needed. Our reception was perfect and George is a huge reason why! He had the dance floor packed the entire night, literally from the first song until the last song. We gave him some suggestions and he took them and ran with it. He was very professional from start to finish as well. He introduced the mini-golf putting range very well and that was a big hit. I would recommend George to ANYONE!

George was FANTASTIC. He kept the music going, people were on the dance floor all night long. It was AWESOME! Everyone had a blast and it was thanks to George, he made it happen.

George went above and beyond. Not only providing great music but also keeping the evening flowing. By working with the caterer and the photographer, George was able to choreograph the evening without the need of the bride/grooms assistance. We, the bride and groom got to spend every minute with our guests thanks to George's experience and ability to keep our guests all happly.

We were a bit nervous about the DJ because we chose someone without a personal referral either from the venue or a friend. This nervousness was completely unnecessary because George was great! He dealt with my mom & I's disagreements on song choices very diplomatically and had everyone dancing the night away. He was very professional and worked his magic behind the scenes rather than talking a lot on the microphone. I would recommend him very enthusiastically!

I have had the pleasure of doing 2 weddings where George was the DJ. I have done many weddings and I wish all of the DJs were as amazing as him! Very professional, and he knows how to put on a spectacular show! Unlike most DJs also, he stated at times such as the cake cutting, to let the photographer get in there first, he takes everything into consideration and is on top of things the whole time! He never "misses a beat." :) A+ work!!
