Sabrina was a pleasure to work with. She responded to all emails in a timely manner, and was flexible as needed to accommodate us during the entire process.

I cannot say enough good things about Sabrina, Tony, and the Cedars!!! This is truly THE gem of St. Louis banquet facilities. Besides the hall being absolutely gorgeous, the food is amazing, and the rates are more affordable then anything you can find in St. Louis. Why anyone looks elsewhere is beyond me!!! Sabrina is the nicest, most patient, flexible person I worked with during the whole planning process. She was very quick to answer any questions I had. She made our wedding reception run more smoothly then I could have imagined, it was everything I hoped it would be. I would highly recommend the Cedars to anyone looking. If you read through the reviews, I think they speak for themselves. I am so happy that I could add to them. Thank you so much Sabrina!!!

I couldn't have been more lucky to have found The Cedar's. I found it on, what I told myself was going to be, the last day of searching. I went to look at it over lunch and by 3pm was driving over the deposit check without anyone else seeing it! Everyone was very impressed with the look of the venue, the cleanliness, the professional staff, the rates and all that was included. With having a large wedding it's important to find a venue that can not only accommodate everyone but is affordable as well. The Cedar's includes so much at such a low price but makes sure you don't lose quality. Tony and Sabrina were amazing to work with. They bent over backwards to try and make sure my many requests and wishes came true. All brides need to go take a look at The Cedar's. You won't be disappointed!

Tony and Sabrina were extremely easy to work with and very knowledgeable in suggesting ideas for us. They both worked to make it an awesome night for everyone. We heard lots of complimentary comments from our guests as well. Another set of nice compliments we heard were directed at the facility itself. It was a wonderful evening, brought on by wonderful planning with the Cedars staff.

Sabrina and Tony made our wedding reception a perfect event. The food was great, the room looked beautiful, and everything went off without a hitch!! We had a great evening there!!

We absolutely loved the Cedars. We enjoyed working with Sabrina and Tony. They were very friendly, professional and worked with us to give us everything we wanted on our special day. The hall looked beautiful, the food was great and everyone had a great time dancing on the large dance floor. We had our wedding reception 9-29-12 at the Cedars and loved every minute of it. Tony and Sabrina are great to work with! They were very accommodating in the fact that we had a fairly small reception, but they helped us fill up the room to make it look like a much larger one. They were always prompt with responses to any questions or issues I had arise. I got so many compliments on how beautiful the hall was and how good the food was (get mashed potatoes!)

I loved everything about The Cedars, especially the people I worked with! Sabrina and Tony made planning my wedding go very smoothly. I live out of town and they were willing to work around my schedule. Between my parents and myself we must have visited at least 6 times, and they were always very patient with our questions and changes. Sabrina was very quick responding to emails and she was a joy to work with.

I used the up-lights The Cedars offers and they made the room look even more beautiful than it already is. My fiance brews his own beer which he wanted to serve at our reception. Tony was very considerate of this and let us bring it in the day before. The bartender served the home brew along with the other drinks. (We also had an open bar).

Overall, I was completely happy with The Cedars. I would definitely recommend having your wedding or other party here!

Choosing The Cedars for our reception was one of the best decisions we made. Everyone was very nice, Sabrina was extremely fast in emailing me back when I had questions. The food was really good! Many of our guests have commented that the food we had was better than at most receptions they have been to. In fact a lot of our guests have nothing but good things to say about our reception and neither do we. If I had to go back and have my wedding all over again, booking with The Cedars would be one of the first things I'd do.

I had my wedding reception at the Cedars and it was better than I could have ever imagined. The room was absolutely gorgeous and everyone said the food was delicious. Sabrina and Tony were great to work worth! Sabrina responded to all my emails and questions very quickly, usually within a few hours. They were so friendly and definitely want to make sure everything is the way you want it. They accommodated all our requests and never made us feel like we were bugging them or being difficult. If you are on the fence about booking the Cedars just do it! You will not regret it!

The service was wonderful. Working with Tony & Sabrina from the Cedars was such a pleasure. They kept the stress level very, very low for me.

I hope I filled this out correctly, assuming 5.0 is the Best rating, because I wholeheartedly recommend The Cedars Banquet Center to anyone considering a special event of any kind (ours was a wedding reception.) Everyone we encountered, starting with Tony, the gentleman in charge at The Cedars, and Sabrina, the event coordinator, through the wait staff and kitchen help, couldn't have been more accommodating and courteous throughout the process. Sabrina is professional, helpful, accessible, enthusiastic and patient at all times, even when things get a little hectic, as they will with weddings! She was overseeing things throughout our event and was still there when the last guests left and all of the wedding gifts were stored in our vehicles. The hall was set up exactly as we had requested and I want to say, the room just glowed! We have received a lot of compliments about everything from the food, the service, the friendliness and courtesy of the wait staff and the beauty of the hall. We feel that their prices are quite reasonable when compared with other venues and that what we received was worth every penny. I also want to add that some items, including a purse, were left by some of our guests and promptly turned in and returned to us the next day. As everyone knows (sadly) this would not always be the case when valuables are left behind. I am very happy to be able to recommend The Cedars to anyone in search of a venue for a special occasion!

We on.y had a couple of set backs. The 2 bartenders that we had were extremely rude and not to mention non accommodating. Our guests constantly raved about the wonderful food but all had the same comment of how rude the bartenders were. Some of the guests even tried to make a game to see if they could get the one bartender to even smile, and all of the guests who played lost. I have given the lower rating because of the two bartnders

The other complaint I have was that we believe the venue took the extra cake without giving it ack to us. We had a nine tiered cake with 220 guests and we only took home one tier.

I became interested in The Cedars because of their reviews on here and was not let down!!! Tony and Sabrina made the whole process so easy and simple and everything went perfectly! I got tons of compliments on the food and the decor. Everyone was shocked at how perfect it was for the cost!! such a good value for everything you can get! I'm so happy we had our reception here. The only thing some people might not like is the 5 hour limit, but it worked perfectly for us!!

We were so happy with working with The Cedars. They were very responsive as we set up the event and as we neared the wedding date. From the beginning we were happy working with the venue, since they had clear ad accurate information available on the website for our research. Tony and Sabrina were both very helpful from the beginning, staying in touch throughout the initial decision making process. Sabrina met with us to provide a fully guided tour and was available at all times for questions. Location and cost were two of the highest priority items for us, and I found this to be one of the more affordable options within the city and with this proximity to downtown.

Additionally, on the event day, the Cedars made every effort to ensure the reception went smoothly, including making a last minute change to the set-up of the room, and having the room set up early on the wedding day for us to bring in any necessary decorations or supplies. My husband and I had no worries at the reception, which I think is a testament to the hard work they put in behind the scenes.

Tony and Sabrina were absolutely wonderful! They were very flexible to all of our ideas and made them come to life! Not to mention, the food was superb. I highly recommend this venue for any function. For the price and service, it is a hidden gem in the St. Louis area!

Tony and Sabrina were very accommodating with all of our daughter's and son in laws request. They were a pleasure to work with and the reception hall and dance floor is very spacious and the food was great!

The Cedars was awesome! The venue is large and all to you, and the people are more than helpful. The food was great! We had chicken marsala and pork tenderloin, which was great, and the pasta and salad were also great. The event place was clean, organized, and arranged beautifully the day before the event. It was also the most reasonably priced venue we could find in downtown. The best place for the price!

Tony and Sabrina was awesome! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a lavish wedding on a budget. They accomadated all of my unusal request to make my day perfect.

The Cedars was a great place for our wedding reception. The large dance floor and stage area were great for our band, the food was delicious and the room was big enough for all of our guests to have space to mingle and visit. And, the chairs were very nice and comfortable! The level of professionalism was wonderful, too. We enjoyed very much working with everyone at The Cedars!

Our wedding was July 23, 2011. The Cedars was a great place for us to have our reception as it could hold the amount of guests we were having. The food was really good and the place looked awesome! They are also wonderful people to work with and always were willing and capable of answering any questions we had throughout the planning. I would definitely reccommend having your wedding reception here if you want great food, a large venue, and a HUGE dance floor!

We had our daughter's wedding reception at The Cedars in July, 2011 and we were pleased with most aspects. First and foremost, it is a beautiful venue and easialy accessible to the downtown St. Louis area. The building is clean, spacious and well taken care of, and the parking lot is well lit and secure. The reason I did not give The Cedars a four or five star rating is I thought the food was just average and the bartenders seemed a bit stingy with their drinks. Additionally, I thought the food and beverage price for children was very high (The Cedars charged one half the price of an adult for a child over 6 years old). Overall I would recommend The Cedars as a good venue for a special event.

The staff at Cedars was very professional and the venue was very nice and my husband and I were thoroughly satisfied and would definitely recommend the venue to everyone.

When I started looking for places to hold our reception I wanted a place that offered both customer service and elegance! I looked all over St. Louis county and city. What I liked most about The Cedars was that it was one large room that you did not have to share with someone else. What I mean by this, is that our wedding was the only wedding at the place. All of the focus is on you. I did not have to share the facility with some other wedding. When you have to share the facility with someone else, I think it takes away from your evening and when it is your day the focus should be on you! I could not beleive how affordable The Cedars is. I almost felt guilty for all the stuff we were offered for the price we paid. Amy and Tony are wonderful. We could not have asked for anyone better. Thank you guys so much for everything. Anyone considering The Cedars for your reception you have to have there cool up-lighting for your event (very affordable and makes the room that much cooler).

We were VERY pleased with our entire experience at the Cedars Banquet Center. We found everyone easy and knowledgeable to work with before, during and after the wedding reception. The hall was decorated as we requested, the food was wonderful, and the service was beyond our expectations. Our experience at the Cedars was exceptional. We would certainly use them again.

Cedars is an absolutely beautiful facility. They worked so well with us, the food was plated and served piping hot and delicious. There was plenty of room for dancing and visiting. Loved the up lighting! Everyone had a wonderful time and the service was superb.

It would have been awesome to be able to pay extra at the end of the night to extend the reception. This was not an option for us. Also- all vendors must come that night to pick things up. It's not a HUGE deal, but some vendors would prefer next day. Everyone said that is was the most beautiful reception they have ever been too. Our centerpieces looked great in the room, and everything went really smoothly. It was perfect!

Large dance floor and room for many guests is what enticed us to use the hall. The food was very good and the staff was professional. What a pleasure to work with Amy and the staff at the Cedars!!! It was the perfect place for my daughters wedding reception. Twice in the last year I have had the privilege of having a wedding reception at the Cedars. Amy & Tony fulfilled my every need. The food was excellent at both receptions and the staff was professional at all times. The price is great and is conveniently located just out of downtown.

The Cedars is definitely one of St. Louis's best venues for any formal or casual event. The entire staff was extremely professional and the service, food and drinks were exceptional. You get excellent quality for a very reasonable price. The management and event planners went above and beyond to ensure that our dream wedding reception was a reality. I strongly recommend The Cedars to anyone for any type of celebration. Save yourself the time and unneeded stress, and don't get caught up negotiating with other over priced and sterile hotels and out-of-date banquet halls in the area. Make sure to check out the Cedars - the facility is modern and clean and the ambiance is like no other. It was an easy decision for us, and one of the best we made in our entire planning process!

The Cedars hosted my wedding reception in May and it was absolutely amazing! We are still getting complements on how great the food and service was. We had a sit down dinner for 380 guest, and it was unbelievable how fast everyone was served. Amy and Tony were fantastic to work with. I think Tony would consider me a high maintance bride, but he always made time for me and made sure all my questions were answered. I highly recommend The Cedars for your next event!

The Cedars Banquet Center was great! They were flexible and easy to work with. I especially liked the large room and dance floor. With 300 guests it didn't feel too big or too small. In addition, the food was delicious. Our guests are still talking about how great the roast beef and mash potatoes were. I would highly reccommend this venue.

Cedars provided us with a beautiful place to have our daughters reception. The food was excellent and the kitchen was very clean. It was a pleasure working with Amy and Tony. They were both very accommodating.

Recently renovated (beginning of 09) the Cedars provides lots of space, a huge dance floor and big stage. Its near downtown and easy to get to. Its clean, modern, and for the price surprisingly elegant. Although the immediate surrounding area may not be the greatest neighborhood there is plenty of of on site, secure, guarded parking. The food was good and staff exceptional. They were always willing to take time to answer all our questions, accommodate our requests and provide their professional advice.
A very smart, affordable alternative to many of the pricey classic downtown reception locations.

I had the pleasure to work at the Cedars recently and what an experience it was! The staff is simply amazing. Everything was PERFECT! The timing was impeccable, everything was done just like the bride and groom had asked. The room was stunning. Tony and Sabrina are wonderful to work with and they get things done! I could not recommend the Cedars enough. Thanks for making my job easy!

The Cedar's Banquet Center is a location tucked away just south of downtown St. Louis southeast of Tucker and Chouteau. They can accommodate up to 450 guests for weddings. There packages include open bar, linens, service ware, and secure parking. They recently remodeled and I was very impressed with their menu and pricing options.
