Celebrations by Silvia

I was...very disappointed. This florist came back as a recommended vendor from my venue so I was thinking it would turn out wonderfully. I got a phone call saying she couldn't find the last check I issued her. Thankfully, my bank confirmed the check I found the carbon for was never cashed. When she told me, she told me NO payment had ever been made on our account, including the deposit that we made in person. So, being a bride, I flipped out a little. We resolved the situation, but I still found her telling me she had NO payments as opposed to ONE payment was additional and unnecessary stress I did not need and was absolutely unprofessional.

When the big day came, I was absolutely horrified. HORRIFIED. My flowers were mostly dead, to the point that my bridesmaid who also happens to be a florist had to manually TRIM OFF the dead stuff with a pair of kitchen scissors. It was mortifying. My calla lily bouquet was actually ripped, my bridesmaid informed me the rip must have happened AFTER the bouquet was put together and she just didn't think I would notice.

Here comes the absolutely horrendous part: we did not receive one bouquet, two boutonnieres, and all of our flower petals. Thankfully, my bridesmaids are so resourceful and our theme was paper cranes. My bridesmaids (BRIDESMAIDS, mind you NOT the florist) saved the day by making a bouquet for my maid of honor out of fake white roses and using leftover cranes for flower petals and making two makeshift boutonnieres out of fake flowers.

I was absolutely horrified. She did the flowers for my cake and they were BROWN. They were just so dead looking that I was literally embarrassed to cut the cake itself. We took photos of all of it, so if anyone wants to see the damage, they can email me for photos.

I cancelled the last check we issued her, I am not paying for dead flowers, a missing bouquet, no petals, and two boutonnieres we never got. I was completely embarrassed at my own wedding because of how miserable the flowers came out.

I could not have been more happy with the services I received from Silvia!!! I met Silvia at the "I do" bridal fair and I was so impressed with her display samples that I knew from that moment that she would be the one to do my flowers for my special day. After meeting with her I discovered that she also did linens and ceiling draping as well. I will admit that I am very picky and was a bit of a Bridezilla but Silvia was patient and went above and beyond to ease every concern and answered all my questions promptly. When I arrived at the venue, I was floored. The ceiling draping made the room look VERY elegant and the centerpieces were even more beautiful than I had imagined they would be! Silvia even added LED lights to the bottom of the vases at last minute (she has great vision) and it added great mood lighting. When Silvia delivered my flowers I was blown away by how beautiful all the bouquets came out (which lasted all night!). Then she saved the day when one of my dear flower girls smashed my MOH's bouquet. Silvia stayed calm and re-assembled the bouquet and she happened to have some extra roses with her that filled it out nicely. Silvia's prices are also very reasonable (I shopped around) for the quality of product you receive. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a florist and linen rental

Mrs. Silvia delivered exactly what I had envisioned. She made me a unique bouquet which required an artichoke and she did an outstanding job! My flower arrangements looked beautiful and the reception had a romantic feel with the arrangements she created.

Silvia went above and beyond to provide beautiful decor and flowers for my wedding. She made the room look absolutely gorgeous using the exact color scheme: tiffany blue, chocolate brown, and ivory, that I envisioned and she included all the things I wanted, such as; peacock feathers, and then she added little extra pieces of flare to kick the idea up a notch. We got many compliments on the decor of the room and people absolutely loved the finishing touch that the colored lights in the centerpiece vases, as well as the ones lighting up the walls, added to the overall look. Silvia also provided the floral and decor for the church ceremony and she made sure to keep them very elegant while continuing to weave in the peacock feathers that I wanted. Overall, I was thrilled to have Silvia provide the flowers and decor for my wedding and I will continue to encourage my friends to use her services for any major events they might be planning.

My fiancé and I are extremely satisfied with Celebrations by Silvia. Silvia was definitely a pleasure to work with! She is very responsive and understood exactly what I wanted right away. I came to the table with a few different ideas and Silvia got to work on making my vision happen! She is very professional, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. We used Silvia for:

Decor and Flowers- The bouquets, and boutineers. Backdrops with twinkle lights for mood lighting. Fabric across the ceiling to hide the ceiling and have a "softer" look. Fresh flower center pieces. We rented her Gazebo with fabric for our outdoor ceremony. Linens for the tables and chair covers with bows for our ballroom.

I felt like I was walking into a fairytale story book... it was even better than I had imagined it would be! I cried tears of joy because it was like a dream come true!!

Me and my fiancé met Silvia at an Wedding event at the convention center, as soon as I saw she sample arrangements I knew I wanted her to decorate my wedding. We didn’t have a budget for flowers because we did not know how to set it but of course we couldn’t spend a lot.
When we met with Silvia in her office she connected with me and my ideas right away, she knew exactly what I wanted and her price was very reasonable. I didn’t even shop around for any other florist, I knew Silvia was going to making my wedding look like a dream! She did all my flower arrangements and it turned out amazing like I knew it would.
Silvia truly did wonderful, everyone loved the flower arrangement!

My budget for flowers was tight and I had originally planned to do the bulk of the work myself, with assistance from a coworker who's done this many times before. But as the wedding quickly approached and I found myself overwhelmed with other DIY projects, I just decided to hire an experienced professional for the job. I can't compare Silvia to other florists because she was the only one I met with to discuss flowers. She was very helpful in choosing the right combination of flowers and colors and I loved all the bouquets she created. With everything going by so fast on the day of the wedding, I have to admit that I didn't get to look at the mothers' corsages at all. I hope to see them in the photos! The boutonnieres seemed fine. One point I'd make is that Silvia was hard to get a hold of and didn't follow up very quickly, but I recognize that my wedding was during the busy wedding season and I don't have a cell phone, so it wasn't necessarily easy to get a hold of me either.
On the day of the wedding, I was surprised that Silvia was in such a rush (she had to leave for another appointment or event), but I managed to verify that she had pinned the bouts on the guys and I assume the corsages on the mothers' dresses. My MOH's bouquet was missing the cream roses we had agreed on, but she quickly remedied the situation and switched out two of the roses in the bouquet. As far as my bouquet goes, I loved it and my only criticism is that the purple stattice that I had requested as a filler was dry and a much lighter purple than I had seen in photos and envisioned. It held up for the wedding though, which is what really counts. My centerpieces were simple in design and people seemed to like them. I had had a very hard time trying to decide what kind of centerpieces I wanted and also keep the costs down, so I think Silvia came up with a good solution.
Silvia is a very sweet person and I would definitely hire her again.

Silvia is great to work with for flowers and decor. I had to change things many times and not once did I sense annoyance. =) The flowers were delivere to my house and were beautiful. Her ideas are wonderful! Everything was great!

After shopping around for flowers my husband (fiancee at the time) found Celebrations by Silvia-and I am soooo glad he did because I wasn't happy with our original selection for our florist. Silvia was so professional and so patient with me as I switched what I wanted 1000 times before my wedding. When I went to see her work, I flipped through her albums and just KNEW that she was PERFECT for my wedding day. When I wasn't sure about what I wanted she helped find a style that matched what I was describing. On the wedding day she showed up right when she said she would and pinned on all the boutinniers and made sure all the bouquets were the right length for all my bridesmaids!

We loved working with Silvia! She was very helpful & let me change things all the way up to the week of the wedding. She did forget the colors of the flowers on the isle but it still looked good.

First of all I want to thank Silvia for making my daughters Quinceañera look beautiful. The decorations came out exactly the way my daughter envisioned them. My family and guests really liked the way the church and venue looked. I enjoyed dealing with Silvia and would use her for future events.

Silvia did a beautiful job with the floral arrangements and decorations. Our wedding was at the Hilton El Conquistador Resort in Oro Valley. Silvia made the scenery twice as beautiful both inside and out with her wonderful ideas and floral arrangements. She was very professional to deal with, always available and pleasant. Silvia helped alleviate the stress by taking over and planning/decorating -the wedding was beautiful.
