The venue was beautiful but I was very unsatisfied with their service. Let me address the issues. I emailed the wedding coordinator that we worked with a week before the wedding. He has been very responsive and easy to work with. To my surprise, I receive an auto reply that he no longer works there! No one told me about that. I did receive a call the next day and the woman was nice that I spoke with. Next problem happened at our rehearsal. We had a somewhat large group, but we had confirmed our time with previous coordinator. Half-way through a woman (that did not work there) came up to us and asked us when would be done because they were told they could set up there early. I explained to her that we would be done when we were done as we had set this up. I heard staff members making comments about how they were not sure we were supposed to be there or "did they pay for this". Yes, we did. Day of I arrive to a wedding that was just ending. I was surprised no on mentioned that this would be going on. We get to the dressing room and it was filthy! Trash overflowing, floor was dirty, nothing was cleaned prior to our arrival. This was the room we had to dress in. There was trash that was not picked up from the previous event and an ice cream spill directly in our receiving line. The actual wedding was so wonderful that I did not let that hinder the night. Looking back I could not recommend them due to the service which is a shame because it is so beautiful there.

We apologize for your experience. However, as you can see from the other reviews - we have gotten excellence ratings for service. We were in transition due our facility coordinator leaving the position, but want to reassure you - we have a new facility coordinator who is professional and will pay close attention to event details. Sometimes we do have Weddings on Fridays and can run into rehearsals - again - since the facility coordintor was not here that detail must have been miscommunicated. Glad you wedding was a success :)

This was the most perfect venue we could have picked. You can have your ceremony and reception in the same place and no matter what the weather is outside, you can get "outdoor" shots in the indoor park.
Blaine is the best coordinator to work with, he is flexible and works hard at making sure everything is just right.
Our guests are still talking about what a great venue this was and how beautiful the scenery was. There are so many layout choices as well. I love that they allow you to bring in your own licensed caterer and really customize things the way you want them. LOVE this place!!!!

The venue was beautiful and was perfect for our wedding! The ceremony was done in the amphitheater upstairs and then the reception was in the banquet room downstairs. There was a room next to the banquet room where I could get ready with my bridesmaids and lock up our valuables. The groom and groomsmen also had a similar room upstairs. There are great spaces inside and out for the photography and everything was beautiful but also at a very affordable cost. The event coordinator and all of the staff were fantastic! If I were to do it all over again, I would still choose this location for our wedding ceremony and reception.

Central Park was amazing. All you have to do is work with Blaine and you are set. He takes care of everything and has his team make sure that you do not have to worry about anything.

We Loved this venue! It was very different than any of the cookie cutter "banquet halls" we looked at. Blaine was excellent for any questions we had and went above and beyond our expectations for the day. My only wish was that we got to see him that day...he wasn't there.

Woodbury Central Park was a beautiful location for our wedding ceremony and reception. We wanted an outdoor wedding feeling without the risk of ruining the day with weather. (It's a good thing we opted for Central Park--because it did rain on our wedding day.) Part of its appeal for us was that it is such a distinct and memorable location. Our guests loved the unique location and 40 foot high atrium wall of windows. We loved the waterfall, 2 story kids play area for rent, amphitheater for dancing and speeches, plentiful parking, and serene ambiance. It is also very affordable and would work well for small or large weddings.
We worked with Blaine Beck, who was absolutely professional, friendly, and helpful at all times. He anticipated our needs, organized every detail to a T, and made us feel at ease with the plan for our wedding day. Woodbury Central Park is lucky to have such a great employee! On the day of, the staff took excellent care of our guests and vendors, even going as far as to box up the 1000 cranes we brought in for direction. We loved this place and recommend it without hesitation.

Planning the perfect wedding is a walk in the park at Woodbury Central Park!
Celebrate your marriage at one of the Twin Cities' most beautiful and unique event venues.
Enjoy the convenience of holding both your wedding ceremony and reception at one beautiful location! The entire facility is available for a private rental from 5:30 p.m. to Midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A private rental includes the set-up and take-down of all tables and chairs as well as on-site staff the night of the event. The spaces included in this private rental are the Valley Creek Banquet Room, kitchen, Tamarack Conference Room, outdoor patio, upper level plaza and garden area and amphitheater. Additional rental time, before 5:30 p.m., is available in some areas on a first come first served basis.
Central Park also has spaces available for wedding ceremonies and photo shoots at an hourly rental rate on Fridays and Saturdays before 4 p.m.
