We could not have wished for a more perfect person to make our bound official. Bethel is very professional, but yet she has that rare quality of being able to connect with her couples. I knew it as soon as I met her at the SD Bridal Bazaar last October. Bethel was the perfect person to marry my husband and me! The ceremony was personalized, funny, and sweet. We had a variety of requests, being that various family members had various beliefs to appeal to, and it was done beautifully.

Bethel was so wonderful for our wedding ceremony. She went out of her way to come to our neighborhood in La Mesa to meet with us. We even had to reschedule our appointment at the last minute, and she was incredibly accommodating (rescheduled for the next week). Bethel is super genuine, super nice, super laid back and super efficient. My husband also loved her. Bethel Nathan was the perfect person for our wedding June 12, 2010. She really took the time to understand us and our unique wedding requests. We wanted an American Indian type of ceremony. She added many elements to our ceremony to make it special for us. The stone ceremony and apache prayer really added to the ambience of the day. Bethel made our ceremony perfect. More than perfect...it was easy, fun, and everything I ever dreamed it could be. I received amazing comments from our guests...that it was tailored perfectly to Dustin and I, was very unique to the two of us, fun, special, and creative. In fact, that was the most common comment I received from our guests. Bethel had a so many fantastic suggestions to help us personalize our ceremony. One of which was for Dustin and I to answer a series of questions and only send our answers to her (not show each other). She revealed our responses during the ceremony. People loved the personal responses and stories that were included. I absolutely was looking forward to hearing my now husband's responses to the same questions I had answered. It was a fun surprise, which added something special to the ceremony. A few of my married friends had previously told me that they wrote their whole ceremony, or at least knew it from start to finish. To me, that would make the ceremony seem more for their guests then them, since they had already heard it all before. I think the fact that we did not know every component of the ceremony added an exciting twist that made the ceremony new to us and our guests! Thanks to all of Bethel's imaginative and helpful ideas. I don't think it would have been anywhere near as special if she didn't provide such great input. I do have to say that she and I had such great back and forth communication before the wedding, that when I was walking down the aisle, I was so happy to see her and have her be the one to marry us on our wedding day?!?!?! It was like having a good friend standing up there to marry us. I can't explain it, but from the moment I met her, I felt like I had known her forever! We didn't even feel the need to interview any other officiants. It's like it was meant to be! I honestly feel that she has such a warm, and open and friendly aura about her that draws people too her! She is definitely in the right line of work =)I absolutely recommend, no...I implore you to call Bethel up and meet with her. I have no doubt that you will love her as much as we did and want her to be a part of your big day!

Bethel was wonderful! We were relatively new to the area and Bethel was referred to us by our wedding coordinator. She met with us and we immediately knew she was the one to do our ceremony. After meeting, she took us step by step through the process of creating our unique ceremony. She was very flexible and professional throughout the entire process. We received many compliments about our ceremony.....and with Bethel's guidance our vows were exactly what we wanted! Choose Bethel....you won't be disappointed!

We were very stressed about the ceremony part of our wedding, but that ALL went away after we met with Bethel. We had met a few officiants before we decided to go with Bethel, but when we met her, we knew right away that she was "The One," haha! Bethel was very easy going, friendly, professional, organized, and very responsive to all of our questions. Bethel is AMAZING! Highly recommended! Bethel was the officiant for our wedding and I couldn't have imagined using anyone else for our big day. We loved that our ceremony was as unique as we are and our friends and family enjoyed it too, they kept asking where we found her and saying how special the ceremony was. Getting married was one of the most stressful and wonderful experiences ever. There is always advice on how to pick a photographer, florist, venue, caterer, but never on how to pick an officiant...the most important part. We lucked out completely when we found Bethel! Most vendors try to pressure you into doing things their way, and we all know wedding planning is filled with enough of that. Bethel's process in crafting your ceremony is perfection--from personal stories you share with her and from her sense of you as a couple upon meeting. The ceremony was as traditional as we wanted it to be, and gave our wedding guests a sense of our relationship while celebrating our decision to marry. Often, the problem with such a customized ceremony is the pressure to be creative--Bethel's help was invaluable in this respect. She provided us with templates and ideas that we were able to go over as a couple separately, and then let her know our choices. Our entire family commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, and we felt like we had a close friend marrying us. Her involvement in making our marriage special spanned even after our wedding day with her idea to send love letters to each other after the wedding, and on our anniversary (she sends them to each partner via email each year). Aside from being highly efficiant and truly knowing the wedding business, it also helps that Bethel is absolutely lovely as a person, which is exactly what you want on such a special day.

We met Bethel while attending the Bridal Bizarre in San Diego. My husband and I absolutely loved her from day one. She was very professional, informative and had a great personality which continued through the ceremony and to this day. She was very responsive to our emails and phone calls within a matter of minutes. She made us feel comfortable in sharing our personal stories, without embarrassing us but allowing our friends and family to know a part of us they have never known; causing joyful tears to their eyes as well as ours. Bethel is very organized and is up to date on the different types of ceremonies out there. She will offer different options and a wide variety of ideas to fit your individual needs. And if you change your mind on something, she will never make you feel as though you are bothering her. Bethel facilitated a lot of things for us. She told us where to go find certain things we wanted for the ceremony and never had us stressed or running around. She emailed us after the wedding with a wedding kit for my new last name change. Truly amazing! We never had to worry about a thing. Bethel went over and beyond her work and always sounded so excited in doing so. She is the greatest and someone you will always remember�. Bethel was a pleasure to work with and helped make our special day just that much more enjoyable! She helped us through all of the processes for planning the wedding and was there for any questions we had, met us at the courthouse to fill out the paperwork, and was even supportive after our event was over and we had to finish completing all of the steps. Her warm personality and kind demeanor kept us calm and relaxed! She is great and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is personable and goes the extra mile!

I had no idea that planning and working on our informal wedding ceremony itself would be fun and romantic, but working with Bethel, it was! She performed an absolutely beautiful ceremony that we received many compliments on. She didn't put together a pre-packaged ceremony and really worked with us to get to know us as a couple and prepare something that was completely "us". Bethel was awesome we couldn't have wished for a better officiant! Our first officiant had a family matter and wasn't able to do our wedding anymore and our wedding was 4 months away!!!! so trying to find an officiant was a joke and by the grace of someone we found Bethel and she was better than we ever could have imagined she was very professional and made us feel very comfortable she really took the time to research our dating history to add it into our ceremony and let me tell you it was so worth it our ceremony was sooooo great and all our guests told us how incredible she was and how it was so nice to know the story on how we ended up down the asile! it has almost been a month now and that is all people are still talking about is how great and personal our ceremony was. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we identified the top 3 things that were important to us for our wedding -- lots of dancing, a chocolate fountain, and a special ceremony. Thanks to Bethel, our ceremony was more special than we could have ever imagined. Bethel took the time to understand each of us as individuals, our relationship together, our dreams for the future and our vision of the ideal wedding ceremony...... I always expected that I would cry on my wedding day. I had no idea how much I'd laugh during our ceremony. (I think that I might have even snorted at one point during the ceremony.) The ambiance that Bethel created at our wedding was incredible; you could feel the positive energy in the air and the laughter from our guests which clearly proved to Craig and I that they were enjoying themselves. Talk about customizing a special ceremony for the Bride and Groom, Bethel went "above and beyond" her creative means to make our wedding day memorable, exciting, emotional (in a great way!), and overall, the perfect day for my husband and I. It's such a warming feeling to know that we had a person marry us that genuinely cared about our well being in addition to spending time with us to customize our Interfaith (Christianity/ Jewish faiths) wedding ceremony. It was very important to us to incorporate both faiths into our special day in addition to our guests feeling like they were truly a huge part of our ceremony.
