I was skeptical about finding an officiant online but thankfully for people taking the time to post reviews, which helped led me to Deidra. From the first few minutes of meeting her, I knew we were in good hands. After my husband and I left Deidra's place upon our first initial consultation, he already knew and said to me, "She's worth every penny". Deidra is extremely professional and an eloquent speaker. She will answer any questions you may have and responds to all emails promptly. Deidra delivered a wonderful ceremony for us. I'm so glad I found her. Thank you so much Deidra!

Deidra recently married us in a small garden wedding and we couldn't of picked a more perfect person to marry us on our special day. First of all, Deidra made creating the ceremony an enjoyable and collaborative process. She has an incredible amount of experience with every type of ceremony so she was able to give us suggestions and advice about every aspect. We wanted a non-denominational ceremony with a few references to each of our religions. She knew just how to do it and in a way that made each of our families comfortable. What impressed me most though was how much time Deidra spent working on our ceremony in the months before the wedding. She took the time to really listen to what we wanted and what was important to us and tailored the ceremony to us. As a result, the ceremony felt so personal and warm. In fact, everyone thought Deidra had known us for years!

What was most telling was that the comment we heard the most from our guests about our wedding was that they thought our ceremony was amazing and that our officiant was wonderful. All I can say is that Deidra gave us the ceremony of our dreams and it is entirely because of her that our wedding ceremony will be one of the happiest memories in our lives.

My wife Carol and I were married on 09/09/12 at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. Diedra was our officiant and was great to work with both at the ceremony and for the months leading up to it. When looking to hire people for different aspects of the wedding, reliability and consistency was very important to me. We didn't want to have any doubts about people we were hiring. We were just married on 8.25.12 and Deidra performed an amazing heartfelt, personal ceremony that was everything we wanted and more! Nearly everyone was in tears! We wrote our own vows and Deidra created a lovely sermon that included a cute story about us. Another aspect of our ceremony was a love letter ceremony in which we wrote personal letters to one another and then placed them in a capsule with a bottle of wine and sealed it. On our 5 year anniversary we will open it, read the letters and enjoy the wine. We were so thankful to have found as her she made the process easy and went out of her way to meet with us so that we felt completely comfortable and confident on our wedding day. Deidra has such warm presence about her it and is very talented and organized at what she does. Our ceremony was the best part of our wedding day, we had so many compliments after. We can't thank Deidra enough for helping to make our day so special and memorable for us.

Deidra officiated at my wedding on August fifth. Both my husband and I were so pleased with the wonderful ceremony Deidra created for us. She really cared about making sure it fit with who we are and with our personal beliefs. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. She made our ceremony so incredible and personal. She has a wonderful speaking voice and presence, and when she arrived at the ceremony site she looked lovely and professional. Besides the actual ceremony, Deidra did an amazing job of making this whole process so easy for us. Any time I had any questions she was so prompt to respond and was so helpful and sweet. We just had Deidra marry us last week and were so pleased! We were a little nervous about finding our officiant online but after meeting with her for only an hour, both of us felt immediately at ease. She did a great job with our ceremony and added a lot of cute stories about us that made it feel very personal. She definitely did not insert too much of her own personal touch which was greatly appreciated as I've been to weddings where that happened and it didn't feel like it was truly for the couple getting married. We had many of our guests come up to us afterward saying how much they loved our ceremony! She was also very easy to work with along the way and sent us lots of reminders to make sure we had everything in order beforehand! We'd recommend her to anyone!

I first became aware of Deidra's wonderful ability as a wedding officiant at one of my best friends wedding's. After watching the service I remember thinking, "That's exactly what I want when I get married." I didn't even have a boyfriend at the time. Deidra is so professional, the day that we met we knew right away that she was perfect for us, the first appointment was at her house and she took us trhought all the steps of a ceremony,she answered all our questions and she asked about our relationship, how we met, who's going to attend, how we want our ceremony to be, everything to make our wedding ceremony personal and all about us, she is very kind and makes you feel that everything is going to run smoothly with her and that's how it was. we were totally clueless about the paperwork and not only she cleared all our questions but gave us a list of things to do before the ceremony and because of that we didn't miss a thing...great!!. she was in contact with us the whole time so by the day of the ceremony every single detail was cover. Deidra was amazing. She made it the most beautiful and romantic wedding ever. Her services were excellent from the beginning til the end. She's got a great personality; very warm and friendly. Deidra was the officiant for our April 9, 2011 wedding and we were so happy that we went with her! Deidra made our wedding day perfect.

From the moment we retained her services we knew that she would be a perfect fit. She is so professional and yet very fun to work with. There are so many things that make her worthy of our high praise. First of all, Deidra’s personality is incredibly warm and friendly, so immediately my fiancé and I felt comfortable talking to her about all of our personal details. She encouraged our ideas and added many of her own suggestions, which turned out to be great. She was extremely dedicated in making our ceremony touching and personal. Deidra took notes on everything we talked about during our consultation, and she typed up a complete running order based on our discussions. During our meeting she read to us various readings, and when we heard her beautiful voice, I began to cry. It wasn’t even the wedding day, but I was already crying tears of joy!

When it came to the actual big day, Deidra arrived an hour early to check on everything before the ceremony began. The entire bridal party noticed how calm and reassuring she was, just to take away of any of our nerves. She is meticulous about checking on things to make sure everything is in place as it should be. Our wedding coordinator also loved her because Deidra was so easy and efficient to work with.

I know every bride is really nervous when it comes to selecting their Officiant, but I could not recommend Deidra more positively. My family and friends absolutely loved her poise, warmth and the lovely way in which she spoke about us. Deidra is the best. If you choose her, your ceremony will be amazing and any of your friends will be asking you for her contact details.

Deidra was amazing and we cannot thank her enough. We are not a traditional couple by any means. My family is Catholic and my heritage is Polish and Filipino. My husband, James, is Seventh Day Adventist and he is of Korean descent. Culturally and religiously, our families are very different. Planning our wedding meant taking into consideration each of our families' expectations and also including details that would be important to us as a couple. You can see Deidra had her work cut out for her.

When James and I first met with Deidra, we were very impressed at her patience and how she allowed us the opportunity to explain in depth our backgrounds and our concerns. She discussed many options for creating the perfect ceremony. She also worked with us in researching details and scripted a ceremony especially around our unique circumstances.

Without any reservations we would recommend her to all. The ceremony was exactly what we desired; it was flawless and beautiful. When we faced that decision for our wedding back in May, we really went the extra mile to find someone special. Our search brought us to Deidra, and boy, was it the right decision. We found someone who truly could bring our ceremony "vision" to life, tailored exactly to the way we wanted it.

We were extremely pleased to work with Deidra Gray-Breijo. Our initial impressions of Deidra were that she was professional, prompt, positive, assuring, warm, organized and helpful--and our regard for her only grew in the planning process. Since we were planning a wedding on the West Coast from the East Coast, we worked with her primarily through email, but at no point did we feel that we were at a disadvantage for it.

Deidra is very personable and genuine, and made a point to speak by phone at least several times to ensure that we were happy with various requests or changes to the ceremony running order. She gave us much flexibility in designing a ceremony that we would be comfortable with, and was respectful of our (atheist) beliefs. She provided us with many vow and reading selections to choose from, which she encouraged us to edit as we saw fit. She took the time to learn about us individually and as a couple, and even surprised us with some anecdotes that we conveyed to her about each other within her sermon! She also provided us with many options for her wardrobe, which was a small nicety that we appreciated.

Before the ceremony, Deidra was prompt and assisted us with the logistics of the marriage license. During the ceremony, Deidra was flawless in her preparation and presentation, and we followed her prompts easily. The ceremony was more powerful than we thought it could be, and we really credit Deidra for setting the perfect tone and creating such a memorable event.

What an amazing experience my husband and I had with Deidra. I cannot express our gratitude for her professionalism, her attention to detail and overall warmth and joy she infused into our ceremony. (her slightly-softened Australian accent didn't hurt, either)

In fact, she was more aware, organized and on-top of our entire day than our team of wedding planners/designers were. She inquired about details that I suspect made my wedding planners/designers think things through that much better; for which I am forever grateful. She has a wonderful way in which she begins getting to know a couple, and by the end, we felt as if she were part of our family, not someone we had hired. She even recommended our wedding photographer, who had the best photo-journalist sense of style, we could not have been happier.

Pre-wedding day she was incredibly interested in getting to know what makes "us" a couple, and what is important to us - our likes/dislikes, wants, needs, etc. With the knowledge she gained, she gave our ceremony such personal touches that there were few dry eyes in the audience (and alter, I must say).

During the wedding day she is as calm as a cucumber, and made us feel as if there were not a single worry to be had -- which really, there wasn't! She was genuine and welcoming to everyone, and made all in the audience feel right at home.

Several weeks after the wedding, we still had people remarking on the overall fluidity and ease of the day. We credit Deidra in our reply, knowing that without her there, things would not have been as memorable or as touching.

My husband and I have been married for more than a year. And, we still look back on that day and remember how wonderful everything was during our ceremony because of Deidra. My step daughter was a very important part of the wedding, she was 3 years old at the time and we wanted to do a vow and present her with a present. This is something Deidra really encouraged and helped with. This is the reason why we pursued interviewing with her because of other interviews with similar situations. But the reason we booked is because she took her time and made us feel welcomed into her home, she had us write down what we loved about each other and then she used what we secretly wrote as apart of the ceremony. Deidra wrote a very personal and appropriate ceremony for my daughter and her new husband, based on a meeting 2 1/2 months prior to the wedding. She included my new grandaughter- as requested by the bride and groom, in a very touching family joining part of the ceremony. My only complaint is that she did not attend the rehearsal and since we did not hire a wedding co-ordinator, we had difficulty with that aspect the day prior. Although she did have the entire ceremony written out in an outline for rehearsal day. All in all, it was a beautiful ceremony and she made our guests feel like she knew the bride and groom personally. She followed all of their wishes to keep religion out of the ceremony but still make it feel "sacred".

Deidra is wonderful! She was always available to answer questions. She did exactly what we wanted, which was a short and sweet ceremony. Deidra makes you feel like a friend and not just another client. She has an endearing Aussie accent that makes listening to her that much easier. Highly recommended!
