Ceremonies without Boundaries

We met with a number of officiants, who ranged from very strange to average before we found Jim Francek.

But we really clicked with Jim Francek right away and we were so grateful for all of his premarital counseling that he did before our ceremony. My husband wanted someone who had a connection to his Catholic roots and Rev. Francek, a former Catholic priest, was able to provide that without being didactic or for lack of a better phrase, too religious. During our meetings with him, Rev. Francek would make several small comments that really clicked with both of us and helped shape our vision of our marriage. (Not to get to woo about it.)

I only had two small things that I wanted to mention--the first was that the cost was on the higher end of average for New York. (He does mention that he will work with you for your budget.) It's still definitely within the average range of cost for the tri-state area and we had such a better rapport with him than with anyone else that we were happy to pay.

Secondly, I think he is occasionally a little absent-minded and toward the end, we had a number of back and forth emails about the ceremony that had already been discussed and that concerned me slightly. But in the end, everything was fine and he led a wonderful ceremony for me and my husband that we will always treasure.
