Working with Tami Rothenfluch of Champagne Wedding and Event Coordination was an absolute joy! Owners Rachelle Bell and Mandi Wiley have created such a strong and creative team of planners. From the very beginning of the planning process to the wedding day, everything went smoothly and beautifully. I thank Champagne for their dedication, attention to detail, and passion for event planning. My wedding was truly a fairytale come to life.

I cannot sing enough praises for Mandi and Champagne! We hired Mandi for day-of coordination and from the moment we met her, she was upbeat, excited, organized and calming. When there were issues, she stepped in, took charge and made it right. We were always reassured that no matter the issue, Mandi would help resolve it. She is so good at what she does! It was so wonderful having her to bounce ideas off of throughout the wedding planning process, even though she was not officially our coordinator until the month leading up to the wedding. She never made me feel bad about asking questions and was prompt and informative in her responses. When we weren't sure of something, she would offer great suggestions we would never have thought of on our own, and when we were spinning our heads at times, she reminded us what was and wasn't important in the details. At the wedding, she & Jen did a fantastic job keeping the night running smoothly, coordinating the transitions, managing vendor communications and keeping us on a schedule. I never once worried about anything, knowing Mandi was in charge. She is so good at what she does and I will recommend her highly to my friends when they get engaged! Best money we ever spent. We were both confident that we could plan and execute everything on our own...and boy, were we wrong! We reached out to Champagne just two months before the wedding because we couldn't manage all the vendor logistics and the tiny minutia that really made our big day "us." It was such a relief to work with Rachelle and Champagne because we knew that there wouldn't be any detail missed nor any added stress. Thank goodness! We had a blast and I'm sure it had a lot to do with Rachelle's on-point assistance :)
My husband and I were very happy to have worked with Danielle as our primary contact from Champagne NW for day of coordination. What we didn't realize at the very beginning stages of planning our wedding was just how difficult it might be to not only plan a destination wedding (we are based out of Los Angeles), but to do it almost entirely DIY. That said, Danielle came through with flying colors during some of our darkest wedding planning moments, with all the right vendor recommendations, picking things up from Portland for us and bringing them to our venue.
Things really came to fruition the day of our wedding (of course) when she and her staff were ON IT for any minor details that were missing and keeping me from having a heart attack and on schedule when our DJ was stuck in holiday traffic on the way to the wedding. Additionally, I believe our other vendors found it really easy to work with her leading up to the wedding which is HUGE. Overall, I would highly recommend Champagne NW, whether its for Day Of coordination or planning!
Jenn was wonderful and kept us on track. She was so sweet and helpful I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day. Not only that but she came up with great ideas that really helped us out. I would recommend Champagne and Jenn to anyone getting married!
Rachelle @ Champagne Wedding Coordination did an amazing job assisting us through out the planning process for our wedding. The day of our wedding was seamless, both she & the amazing staff we're always one step ahead of everything. Nothing was left out, from the smallest detail to the the very last minute of clean up! They we're so friendly, professional and honestly loving offering to do things for us that we know was not a part of the original plan- meaning going above and beyond.

A friend of mine gave the advice that we should hire a wedding coordinator, at least for the day of, in order to help out with the event. I didn't think that this was a necessary expense, but then when Colleen's services were included in our venue package, I saw how truly valuable this is... Colleen walked us through everything - each tiny, exhausting step, and many that we would have missed if it hadn't been for her attention to detail. She also was there to see the wedding through from before the first guess to helping with cleanup (that's dedication)!!! We didn't go the traditional route for most aspects of the wedding, yet she was able to modify her skills to meet the needs of our own design in order to make the day go off without a hitch. The best decision I made was hiring Mandi! She was so professional, responsive, friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, which was almost 2 years for us.
Mandi was a reassuring voice through all the early stages of planning and decision-making. We got the real deal when we needed it, but if something really didn't matter one way or the other, she would also tell us that.
I had the most blissful day of the wedding, so you know Mandi did her job perfectly! There are always going to be unexpected problems or snags. Whenever any issue came up, she would just let me know what happened and that it was taken care of. You couldn't ask for anything better on your wedding day!
Many of the vendors we hired, including the ones we hired before her, said that they loved working with Mandi.
Day-of vs. Full Service:
We originally started with a month-of package. As we got closer to the wedding date, it was clear that there were a lot of details to keep track of, and that's not how we wanted to spend our time.
If you think you can cut costs somewhere and go full-service, don't hesitate! As I said, it was the best decision we made!!
With less than a month to go before our big day, my fiancee (now wife) and I realized we were going to need help - big time - to pull off our destination wedding for 200 guests. We'd done the planning ourselves, but trying to wrap our heads around the day-of coordination was keeping us up at night, and we didn't want any of our family or friends to take on such a big job. Colleen helped us to relax from our very first meeting. One of her greatest strengths was meeting us where we were at in terms of our approach and mindset. Without being at all overbearing, she really helped us to get organized, make sure we had all the "i"s dotted and "t"s crossed, confirm vendors, and calmly outline a number of options for important decisions that we'd either overlooked or couldn't decide on. She met us at our venue for a meeting a week or so before, then helped to run the wedding rehearsal efficiently the day before. But where she truly shined was on the big day. Meeting us early in the day at the venue, she and her staff did everything from setting tables and arranging decorations to greeting and managing all of the vendors, organizing the wedding party, and answering questions from anybody who had them. By 10:30 a.m., I found myself with nothing to do but sit on the deck and soak in the view for about an hour before I even had to get ready. It was unbelievably relaxing and reassuring. Once guests began to arrive, she and her staff continued to provide excellent and professional service, calmly kept us on schedule, and anticipated things before they even happened all the way through the end of the reception. They even did the clean up that we were responsible for given our venue contract, which allowed us to enjoy an after party with handful of late night guests. There are probably dozens more things that Colleen took care of that I'm either forgetting or wasn't even aware of, which again speaks her thoughtful, friendly, professional, and detail-oriented skills and talents. After months of planning, worrying, and not a small number of "uh-oh!" moments, Colleen and the folks from Champagne allowed my wife and I to truly enjoy our wedding. Our guests had a total blast, and we left for our honeymoon a few days later still on cloud nine as we reflected on the success of one of the most significant days of our lives. If you need help with your wedding, get Colleen on the job!
These guys were great! They were reliable and I didn't have to worry about anything or micromanage them at all! Jenn was my coordinator and I definitely recommend her as well as the rest of the Champagne staff! It was a great experience.
We did a lot of research when we decided to use a wedding planner for our wedding. We met with three local planners, and ended up with two planners neck-at-neck. Finally, we'd decided to contract with Mandi Wiley of Champagne, and we could not be happier with this choice. Mandi has what seems to be a boundless enthusiasm for planning that is matched by her focus on details and ability to execute. She was able to translate our ideas for our wedding into concrete details, and then implement all the tiny pieces into one cohesive vision. The whole time, she kept in touch so we always felt like we knew what was going on, but was still willing and able to run with details when we didn't have a specific opinion on something. Throughout the planning process, we felt confident that Mandi had things under control.
On the day of the wedding, we were able to let go and trust Mandi to make our wedding day everything we wanted -- and she delivered beyond anything we could have hoped. She took random, vague ideas and made them into a gorgeous reality that blew us away and impressed the heck out of our guests. Mandi helped make our wedding everything we wanted and so much more, all while easing our minds and making planning feel minimally stressful and even fun.
We routinely credit Mandi with a huge part of the success of our wedding, and we would recommend her and Champagne without reservation.

With only a 3 month engagement, Rachelle and her team at Champagne, turned our wedding day into a perfect dream. Keeping us on track and on budget - we couldn't have done it without them! They put everything into place, coordinating all the details, and I could simply sit back and enjoy the day and my family. I would recommend them to any, and every bride to be!
Mandi is the BEST! She had great vendors to suggest and very professional. She meet when we needed to and went over whatever we wanted to at the meetings. She answered etiquette questions, had tips on family traditions, and anything we had questions on. Any vendor we met (whether they were the vendor we ended up using or not...) knew Mandi and loved her. It speaks volumes knowing that people in the industry trust and respect her work !!!
Worked with Rachelle and I can't say enough positive things about her! She was absolutely wonderful; very helpful along every stage of the way even though I had the smallest package possible. I'm pretty sure she answered all my e-mail questions within less than 24 hours! Our day went off without any problems and she even took all of our stuff home with her after the wedding and I just picked it up later. My family loved that! Recommend her with more than 5 stars (if that's possible)!
We were so fortunate to have Colleen help us leading up to our big day as well as on the day of. I have no idea what I would have done without her! She went above and beyond, contacting me throughout my planning process to see how I was doing and offered great advice if I had any questions. On the day of the wedding, everything went exactly according to plan, and even better than I had imagined.
Mandi kept the event flowing, organized the vendors, handled set up, clean up and any other tasks that came her way. She had a big smile on her face the whole night and blended in just like a guest while taking care of business behind the scenes. Not only did everything go perfectly, Mandi also helped in a lot of little ways that I never could have planned, for example, she kept the guests out of the reception space until our photographer could capture the details on the tables, she set aside cake and cookies for us because we were too busy at the reception to grab any. She even made sure that our wedding gifts got put in our hotel room! We truly didn't have to worry about a thing. We can't thank her enough and I would reccommend her to anyone!!
Hiring Rachelle with Champagne was the best wedding decision we could have made! We got married in Bend, Oregon at a private residence and Rachelle was able to TOTALLY put together a wedding day that was far beyond my expectations. Our families and wedding party members were able to show up in Bend and just enjoy themselves rather than running around getting a wedding set up. We hired Rachelle as a “month of” planner but she went ABOVE AND BEYOND what we hired her for. Rachelle was always available to help make decisions and to give advice. It’s nice to be able to bounce ideas off of someone who really knows what she is talking about. I truly believe she is doing exactly what she is supposed to be doing in life!
Mandi & her team are the best! If there was anything about my wedding day that I couldn't be without, it would have to be Mandi! I can't imagine my wedding day running as smoothly as it did had it not been for Mandi and her team. Honestly, it really was stress free for me! I didn't have to worry about anything but getting ready (hair, makeup, and dressed). Mandi took care of everything else! THE BEST INVESTMENT!!! We had a great experience and would recommend getting a wedding planner and specifically Champagne Wedding and Event Coordination to any bride. They were well worth the cost. It made our wedding day so fun to be able to focus on each other and the guests.
Planning a small wedding in a tiny, coastal Oregon town would’ve been enough of a challenge, but doing it from ~3,000 miles away would’ve been a nightmare had it not been for the genius of Mandi Downs! She took all of the random pieces of our plans (some of which were determined even before we met her) and wove them together to create a fun, elegant, and truly memorable event for us and our guests. The word “PERFECT” has been uttered ever since we said “I do”! She kept our budget in mind, really listened to us as we described what we hoped to achieve, chose a florist for us, helped us select an amazing caterer, suggested things we hadn’t thought to consider, ran our rehearsal, and even offered to let us use her Wii for the week we were on the coast! Mandi’s response time to my millions of emails was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about her and her sense of professionalism, attention to detail, customer service and wonderful personality – do not get married in Oregon without contacting Mandi and the awesome staff at Champagne!!!!
When we started wedding planning, we weren't sure a coordinator would fit in our budget. It seems to be one of the services that isn't essential to the wedding day but now I would say you really can't have a successful wedding without a wedding coordinator and it is SO worth the money (plus it's not as expensive as you might think).
We hired Mandi Downs for our Wedding Day-of coordination and it was one of the best decisions we made! Mandi is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator! She is knowledgeable, organized, friendly, works behind the scenes but takes charge when necessary and has a TON of connections to other Portland vendors. Since my husband and I planned all of the details about the wedding, we met with Mandi about 6 weeks before to go over everything and she managed to get it all down, effortlessly created a timeline for the day, contacted all of our vendors before the wedding to confirm times, led our rehearsal the day before and was at the venue on the wedding day over 3 hours before it began to ensure set-up went smoothly. My husband and I were able to truly enjoy every moment of our wedding day because of Mandi's presence and hard work!
When I first began planning my wedding, I didn't think that I needed a wedding coordinator. As I got further into the planning process, I realized that it would be nearly impossible for my family and I to get everything done on the day of the wedding, and have a stress-free day. We met with several coordinators, and were so impressed by Mandi of Champagne Weddings. As a mature bride originally I did not feel like I needed a wedding planner, but Mandi was just a joy to work with and brought all my ideas together. The ladies at Champagne are simply wonderful. We work with destination wedding coordinators from all over the US on a monthly basis that travel to Hawaii. They were easy to keep in touch with and very professional. Upon arrival to Kona we scheduled a meeting with them and were quite impressed that they were very detail oriented and on top of everything.
