Chantilly Bridal

A hard review for me to write. Chantilly was super helpful with 90% of my dress-buying experience. I live in San Jose, so they opened up shop early for me on weekends when I was available for fittings and let me do alterations on weekends which is normally not allowed. Sales ladies were very friendly. However, during my final fitting, my dress was cut too short and I had to find new shoes a day before my wedding. This was incredibly frustrating and upsetting. My dress ended up being beautiful, but the stress leading up to it was very unfortunate. The man that runs the adjacent tux shop is incredibly rude, my father had to deal with him and he was horrible (gave my dad a tux when we specified we needed a black suit). The only way to get thru to that guy is to be forceful, which is a shame.

The service was spectacular. They have great choices for bridesmaid dresses. The staff are very helpful.

Where to begin. As a bride, I would not recommend this bridal shop for anyone in the vicinity of santa clarita. A friend of mine purchased her dress, which came in the wrong. No effort was made to rectify the situation. After investigation efforts, it was discovered a rush cut of the dress could be done in time for the dress to arrive before the wedding. Second disaster was in regards to a set appointment for 3 weeks for a fitting with the bustle completed. Unfortunatley when we arrived, we were informed the bustles were still being sewn on. After waiting 45 minutes, emotions were high and yelling ensued between the bride and the male employee (who I think was running the adjacent tux shop). Finally the dress was almost done so we told them it was now or never. We got the dress put on, but the initial quote of the number of bustles went from 3 to 8 and no call was made to the bride notifying of the change.

I would not recommend this vendor as unnecessary stress was taken on for the bride and her entire family over the unnecessary drama over this dress.
