Chapins Catering

Chapin's Catering is by far the best caterer in all of Cape Cod, maybe the world! The food, from the hors d'oeuvres including a raw bar, to the dinner meal, was fantastic to say the very least. Kevin's well trained pallet and extreme passion for food come through in his delectable creations and combinations. His staff were incredibly professional and served every guests with the perfect amount of courtesy and professionalism. It was so elegant to have servers in white gloves, in appropriate dress, and smiles on their faces. They also went out of their way to make sure Carmelo and I got a taste of each hors d'oeuvres while we were having formal pictures taken and before our guests devoured them all. We appreciated that more than you know...especially when we finally arrived at the cocktail hour and saw that the raw bar had been wiped out, lol. Kevin and his staff of chefs created and served a sumptuous menu that was raved about by our guests. The haddock was flaky and moist, and the beef was juicy and tender. Chapin's officially has guests for life, not only Carmelo and I, but several of our guests will assuredly be dining at your restaurant in the future. Thank you for everything. It was absolutely perfect!!

Chapin's catered our wedding and the food was great. Working with chef Kevin Violet was a pleasure. He was very responsive to our tastes, including our desire to include several retro-classic appetizers on our menu. In fact, he made it clear that he would be happy to prepare anything we wanted. (Apps from his own repertory were also just great!) His thinking about how to make the menu work as a whole was very creative, and by the time we had our tasting, the menu was already a success. We did request a few minor adjustments to various dishes at the tasting, and every single adjustment we had requested--no matter how minor--was taken care of perfectly on the day of the wedding.
The high quality of the food was noticed and commented on by a great many of our guests.
We couldn't have asked for a better wedding...

Chapins catered our wedding rehearsal Italian dinner. We had many quests from Manhattan and DC - all of whom raved about the food. They did an unbelievable job and were such a pleasure to work with! Chapin's was fabulous! Our reception venue works with them exlusively and had great things to say about them. We were a little nervous at first since we didn't really have a choice for the catering - but our minds were quickly put at ease. We met with Kevin and he and his team were able to draw up a menu we were extremley excited about that fit our budget. Our guests raved about the food and we made sure to eat plenty ourselves! I would highly recommend them for any catering needs and their restaurant is great too!

I met this fabulous group of catering professionals at a large wedding over a year ago that we did together. They were phenomenal! Their catering team is led by Executive Chef, Kevin Violet. His approach is creative, innovative, and service oriented. One of our favorite things about him is how approachable and hands on he is with all his clients. A refreshing change from the chefs that are difficult to deal with and unapproachable. The rest of the Chapins catering team is personable, professional and dedicated to client service. Working with them is not only an enjoyable experience for me and my team of planners but they exceed my clients expectations every time. Chapins focuses and dedicates their catering services to one special event per day putting quality above quantity every time. If you are looking for a fun place to take the family for dinner on Cape Cod visit Chapins Restaurant in Dennis which is open year round. In the summer months, Dennisport is home to their more casual restaurant, Chapins Fish n Chips. In the off season they have hosted weddings and rehearsal dinners there for some of my clients.
