I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Kelsey and David were and how excited and thankful we are that we had them as members of our wedding team. I was brought to tears and excitement over videos I saw off of their website and immediately wanted to meet with them. After meeting with them, we knew that we wanted them for our wedding. Because we lived in Tx at the time, after we met with them in CA, they mailed us more sample videos. I watched them so many times and knew they were the people we needed to capture our vision and essence of the day. It was SO amazing to be with them. I'd love to say we "worked" with them, but it wasn't work at all. We had David and Kelsey both shooting at our wedding and I would very very very highly recommend everyone do that. What you see on their website is truly what you receive back from them. They are creative, genuine, and truly want to make your video a masterpiece. I consider them a blessing in our lives, especially after so many people were not able to attend our wedding and truthfully - there were so many parts of the wedding that we missed or don't remember, that this video is going to be our lifetime treasure!!! I have seen AWFUL video productions, and helped friends and family members through terrible videographer scenarios... and believe me when I say... There's truly no one better than Charles Lauren Films.

I began researching videographers for my two-weekend, three-day Indian wedding a year in advance. I had done extensive research, met with, and sampled videos from many popular Southern California vendors. No one came close to Charles Lauren Films.

David and Kelsey responded to my RFP quickly, and were amenable to working with me and meeting my wants and needs. They really took their time with me during our initial consultation, were attentive, patient, and addressed all of my concerns. I left the meeting feeling very comfortable and confident that they could do the job and deliver the product the way I wanted.

We filmed a "Love Story" to be shown at our reception--and spent a couple of hours interviewing with them. When we watched the final product, we were amazed by their talent and editing skills. I was so afraid we would sound silly as we had a lot of bloopers during the interviewing, but without even having to say anything--they extracted just what they needed to make the whole thing come together. Our guests were blown away by the concept of the love story and what an entertaining introduction it was to the evening. No one could stop talking about it!

They also made 3 highlight reels--one for each event. We received them so quickly and were able to send to our guests and friends and family all over the world who missed our events. These went over really well also; many of our friends and family said they felt like they were there! Again, the editing and the skill that went into making these were phenomenal! I had given David and Kelsey a music guide with a mix of Indian and American songs--and they did such a fantastic job placing them and balancing the musical selections. I can't wait to see the full video!

Overall, David and Kelsey are true talents with film school backgrounds. They know exactly what they are doing, and you can trust them to do a professional and quality job filming your wedding. I put my non-traditional wedding in their hands, and I was beyond pleased with results. They don't give you a cookie-cutter product, and I could tell it was personalized to my preferences.

They were a delight to work with as well--very organized, and genuinely nice and caring!

I didn't expect to be getting a videographer this early. My wedding is still a little over a year away, but a friend referred me to their website and the first video that played brought me to tears!! I set up an appointment with them and met Kelsey, one of the owners at their studio. She is super fabulous and knows what she's talking about when it comes to wedding videos. She showed me a bunch of sample wedding videos-I could have watched them for hours!! This is a real company that cares about what they do. They have a passion for it, this isn't what I thought a wedding video was at all.

My engagement session was amazing! It was fun, hassle free and the pictures I got back are just incredible! They are like something out of Vogue!!! Really creative and genius! I am super pleased and I can't wait for them to photograph my wedding in June!

Honestly the easiest people to work with and the BEST! I loved my video. I hired them, they called to confirm a few days before, they showed up, I didn't even notice them and then they presented me with a BEAUTIFUL wedding video. It was amazing! I loved both Charles and Kelsey. They were both so sweet, especially Kelsey! Kelsey did our wedding and she was soooo nice and although she stayed inconspicuous during the wedding, she got shots from all angles and got the best moments of our wedding. I didn't think they would have the video finished so soon, but a couple weeks after the wedding, even before we got to settle down after the wedding, she e-mailed us the video and our whole family was in tears at how beautifully it came out. Awesome job and cheaper than most other companies! Seriously totally worth every penny we spent on them!

We really enjoyed working with David and Kelsey. Not only are they excellent at what they do, they are genuinely nice people. Our video was amazing. They sit down with you and discuss the options for your video and they really listen to what you want. We also used them for our engagement and wedding photography. We couldn't have been happier with the results. We highly recommend them!

Of all the vendors we dealt with and had for our big day, Charles Lauren Films was the best (and I'm pretty happy with ALL of our vendors).
The quality and level of professionalism is second to none.
They blended in and we were never aware of the video camera. We and all our guests felt very comfortable around them. The camera work and image quality was superior to every other wedding videographer I have seen.
We watched their samples and we loved the videos they had edited and we didn't even know these people.
I'm an editor for feature films and I must say, I don't even think I can cut weddings better than these guys.
They edited a 5 minutes re-cap video for us and it is phenomenal. I've shared it with several professionals in the industry and they said it is the best wedding video they have ever seen.
And I must agree.
Also, I must tell you that they are very aware of the photographer and they do a fine job in staying out of his way.

Charles Lauren Films truly created a beautiful video for my husband and I. They were the most important people in logging our day and truly were able to grasp the most important moments. I was sooo ecstatic when i saw the video, I was almost in tears~! They did such a great job! Most importantly, they were so easy to work with, so NICE!!! Kelsey was soooo sweet. Honestly, they were the easiest vendor to work with. I booked them, then confirmed a few days before the wedding, they showed up, stayed completely inconspicuous and yet still grasped the best moments of the night to be made into a VERY LOVELY video! 2 weeks after the wedding, before my husband and I even got settled down after all the out-of-town family guest chaos and honeymoon travel planning, I get an e-mail saying the video is ready. Charles Lauren did a fantastic job with our wedding video! They were great to work with, produced a great video we will surely treasure many years from now and even produced an awesome same-day video we displayed at the wedding. The also worked with us at the last minute to create a slideshow of our engagement photos to display at the reception. We couldn't have asked for better videographers.

We would highly recommend Charles Lauren Films to anybody and everybody! We saw samples from about 8 other companies and CL is by far the best combination of value, quality, and professionalism. We only had David (aka Charles) for the day and he was just great! We barely noticed he was there, but he sure didn't miss a thing! He captured all of our important moments, the details, and much more. It was so amazing to be able to re-live the day through his creative eye and wonderful story-telling. He also provided wireless lapel microphones, which many other videographers in the same price range did not offer, so the audio is excellent during our ceremony.

Before and after the wedding, he was very responsive, flexible, and accommodating to all of our requests. He even put together a highlight film within 2 weeks so that we could show it at our East Coast reception the following month. The final video is definitely "movie"-like; he blended in music, speech, and images in a manner unmatched in anything else that we saw. He also was able to add in our self-created wedding photo slideshow into our finished DVD.

Kelsey and David were absolutely the best! Not only was their work so unique, beautiful, and different, but they themselves were wonderful! They were so friendly and sincere! You can totally tell that they love what they do and love to please their clients! We loved our Love Story video, slideshow, Same Day Edit, Wedding Highlight, and final video! What really stood out from their work was how beautiful their editing was. When we received a video of their work to review, we found ourselves entertained throughout the whole video of complete strangers! We knew, then and there that we can show our videos to others and they would not be bored. The editing was movie style and not chronological with great transitions and movement to the music! We watched many videos and fast forwarded or ejected the DVDs of so many. They were hardly edited and looked like anyone took the video. Kelsey and David's work was beautiful, unique, and entertaining! You knew they put a lot of time into it! Also, they are so genuine and sweet and still keep in touch via cards and e-mail! We recommend them to all our friends that are getting married! Hands down, they are the best! It's one special day that you can't do over so why hire someone that's not the best? Love, love, love them!!!!

I have to admit, I haven't yet gotten married so they haven't filmed my wedding yet. However, after going through pages and pages of a list of videographers, this was an EASY choice for my fiance and me. Their work is so artistic. And not just in the editing process, but also in the actual way that they FILM the event.

This is a husband and wife team, so they obviously work very well together. And both are very personable and easy to be around.

And the prices are VERY reasonable for the product that you get.

I just learned that they were voted The Knot's best videographer for 2008 in the Los Angeles area. Woo-hoo!!!
