Charles is an exceptional photographer!!! He was the photographer for our wedding - and he really did a fantastic job of capturing candid moments!!! I met him at my friend's wedding, where he was also the photographer. After I saw her pictures, I had to ask him to be our wedding photographer. I am so happy with the pictures he took - they still bring tears to my eyes and we have received many compliments on our wedding photos.

He is very professional and helps you throughout the day. He is really responsive with emails, arrived early on the wedding day and was very prompt in uploading our "teaser" photos! By the time we had gotten back from our honeymoon, we had some pictures to share with our families that couldn't make it to the wedding. This meant a lot to me because both of my grandmothers, who live in Japan, could not make it to the wedding and I wanted to share our wedding day with them right away.

With his experience from doing other weddings, he was really able to guide me through the day and relieved some of the stress - without being overbearing. He really took care of everything - down to the blush that fell off during the ceremony. I really didn't know what to do with it - but Charles to the rescue! He discreetly picked it up for me! Also, I don't know how he remembered, but at the end of the night, he was reminding us that there were a few pictures with our family members that we still needed to take.

He kept us laughing and relaxed - some of our best pictured turned out to be the ones where we are laughing from what he said. Overall, I definitely recommend Charles as a photographer.

Charles is absolutely incredible!!! When we met, he showed me pictures of a wedding he did. I almost started crying and I didn't even know these people. His style really tells the story of a couple's wedding. It is artistically composed and filled with so much emotions. I am an art major and was very particular about how I wanted my pictures taken. He has an eye for composition and creates them according to our personality and our wedding party which makes his images unique. He is great in studying people's personality. He captured us perfectly along with our friends' and family. It was everything I was looking for. Now I can't stop looking at our pictures. It was so hard to choose from because there were so many images that I wanted.

Not only his style is remarkable, but so is his personality. We got along the minute we met. I wanted my husband(now) to meet him and he also felt the same bond towards him. My husband told me that same day that's the kind of personality he would want around our guest and he was right. He got along with all my guests and made them feel comfortable. They all told me that he was so much fun. Charles also handled difficult people very well. We had a church wedding coordinator from hell. (Please note we did not choose her. It was forced upon us from the church) She was yelling at everyone including Charles telling him to get out. He remained calm and finished our photos in a quick and efficient manner. What's great about him, is that he was there on time early in the morning and stayed with us till the end. Time was not an issue.

I can go on and on about how wonderful Charles is. If you want to be worry-free and have the feeling of being secure that your wedding photos will turn out great, Charles is the way to go. You can't go wrong with him and it is a guarantee that your photos will come out beautifully. I had so many compliments on my pictures. Just meet him and you will know exactly what I'm talking about.

Having dealt with a pushy engagement studio (Loveliness) for our engagement photos, we truly appreciate our experience with Charles Le. (1) He arrived early, even before the bride's family who is always 30 minutes early! (2) He is very professional and focused on his work. Nothing will stop Charles from getting the best shot ... and he will not get in the way of your guests, only pulling you away at appropriate times. We heard horror stories from other friends where the photographer hogged the bride & groom, Charles doesn't do that, but works to capture your interactions with your guest without you even knowing it. (3) He's perfect for an Asian family wedding, as he has no problem telling people off in the "nicest manner" to stop taking photos with their cellphone and iPhones. As the bride & groom, we can vouch for how overwhelmed we felt with our demanding family ... but Charles can handle them all! As a result, you'll get really good pictures with everyone looking at your photos instead of somewhere else! (3) He's so hardworking, he even passed up the lunch plate we ordered for him! (4) His ability to take shots that capture the right moments are amazing. For example, he got shots of us during quiet moments ... he caught our flowergirl doing silly things like playing with the bride's veil during the bride's toast ... he catches all sorts of details with your guests during moments such as a slow dance or reflective faces during toasts ... good stuff! (5) he's agile photographer, he's just bopping around on benches, high angles, all in his pursuit for the best shot! (6) he is very honest in his pricing, as he accommodated our need for a shorter wedding photography session as we only needed 4 hours, and adjust our package accordingly. (7) he's a down-to-earth ... we met up with him after our wedding, and we really just enjoyed talking to him about his work and he didn't push us to buy anything.

We definitely would recommend Charles Le, and he's worth every penny, as you'll get the best shots and won't have to worry as you're in good experienced hands. My family and friends were all in awe of his photos.

I did A LOT of research on photographers in Northern California... I wanted to be sure I was making the right decision. I interviewed about half a dozen photographers (and would quiz each of them extensively) before I found Charles' website. Let's just put it this way - I booked Charles the next day.
...I'll admit: it was a pretty brash decision, but I was so blown away by his work that I figured if I had to, I could put up with an attitude problem or short hours or expensive prints - just to have my day captured the way I saw other brides' days captured on his page. ....Fortunately for me, I didn't have to put up with any shortcomings.
Charles not only offered exceptionally beautiful photography, he was among the most reasonably priced AND he didn't have a time limitation. His service was phenomenal. Charles was with me for almost 12 hours... Before the wedding, I asked if I should bring a list of photos I'd like him to take - he said I could if I wanted to, but that he was confident I'd get all the photos I wanted and more... I didn't bring a list and he didn't miss a shot.
Charles was very polite and very easy to work with... He is a true professional. My guests and family commented on how kind he was and what a hard worker he was. We had no idea how many photos Charles took because he was so quiet and unobtrusive. He carried my lipgloss around for me all day (for touchups), he pulled a bobby pin out of his bag (when NONE of my bridesmaids, my mother or myself had come prepared!), he helped fix my train when it broke... He was truly there to do more than just shoot pictures - he took care of me and my wedding party.
And then there was the final product. About 5 days after the wedding, Charles posted a slideshow for us to share with our friends and family (and to hold us over while he was completing the final touches on the entire collection... This is just an extension of the fabulous service he provided... I have probably watched it over 100 times). As far as the actual prints were concerned, Charles blew all of my expectations away. I was hoping for around 10 fabulous, wonderful, timeless images of my day - but Charles provided me with close to 50 out-of-a-magazine-looking photos. It is the consensus for those who see our wedding photos that Charles is the best photographer they've ever seen.
I could probably write eight paragraphs on his aesthetic sensibility and artistic vision, but the collections featured on his website demonstrate this already. More importantly, Charles is a consistent and passionate talent and any girl would be lucky to have him document her day.
Charles has a true gift. And I am SO thankful I had the opportunity to have him photograph my wedding. I would hire him all over again in a heartbeat.

Charles is fantastic - he completely kept me (bride) relaxed and laughing throughout the long hectic wedding day, and went with the flow of several last minute itinerary changes. He captured so many little moments during the day, that always make us smile when looking at them. I was told over and over again to cherish every moment of my bid day because if flys by so fast! And so it did, and even when you try to just take everything in, it is so overwhelming. But, when it's all said and done, it is the pictures that you will have to cherish your day forever.I was so grateful to have Charles as my photographer, he captured every moment, every detail, everything I could have asked for. Charles Le was recommended to us by my sister, who raved about her co-worker's wedding photos. We were impressed with the way his work captures the essence of those special moments. We were definitely sold after meeting him and hearing him describe at length about his philosophy -- telling stories through the pictures. We actually booked him more than a year before our wedding to make sure he was available. Even with those high expectations, I must say he did not disappoint when the special day came. I can't believe it's been a year since our wedding! Do you know how much happiness it bring us when we look at our wedding photos? Our words just can't express the smiles it brings. You made our photos a memorable work of art. We feel blessed to have built a friendship with you and know that we can always count on you to capture our memories.

I had met with several photographers for my wedding and Charles le was the only one that didn't act like a used car sales men. In fact he didn't pressure me AT ALL. He showed my family and I a few samples of his work, gave us his price list and off we went. He was very professional, but quiet (in comparison to the other photographers we had met that day). His work is obviously top quality and the other photographers work was nice too. I thought to myself... after the wedding is over what will I have? My memories, yes, but the photos will truly tell the story. I knew right then that Charles was the one! Now that my wedding is over I am so pleased I chose Charles le Photography. I have never seen anyone work so hard at their job. It was only 50 degrees the day of my wedding and poor Charles was sweating he was working so hard! Running around, lying on the ground, standing on chairs or benches... capturing every precious moment. He took over 2,000 pictures on my wedding day and 99.9% of them turned out like perfection! Eric and I found Charles on the internet. We stumbled upon his website and that was the best thing that could have happened to us. After viewing his work online we knew that he was a great photographer, however, after meeting with Charles in person and seeing his studio and work first hand we knew that he was the the PERFECT photographer!!!
