Chart House

Chart house ahs good food. They also have very helpful staff. Their catering manager met us 3 times, but forgot meeting us every time. However, he was very responsive and flexible. They were willing to decorate and move around tables to accomodate. The capitol room had a great view and has been newly renovated.

This was the perfect place for our rehearsal dinner. The food was great and the location/view was beautiful. We were upstairs in the far corner which gave us the view of D.C. we wanted. Our guests all enjoyed themselves.

Chris' mom arranged everything with the Chart House in Old Town Alexandria, which means I didn't have to do anything but show up! They provided a lovely cocktail hour and a fantastic dinner. The staff was courteous and on top of things, which made service go very smoothly. Their second-floor dining room has a fantastic view and provided privacy. My only complaint here is that you can definitely hear the noise of the restaurant below, so toasts were a little hard to hear. Also, there's no elevator for elderly guests. They can't do anything about either of those things, but FYI if you're planning an event here.
