This venue was so gorgeous! My husband and I are so happy that we found the Chateau. Kasia was very professional and sweet. She made everything so easy for us!! Natalia, the in house caterer, was wonderful!! The food was amazing!! We had only one issue....the security guards, one in particular(This is the ONLY reason that I did not give it 5 stars). I do not remember his name but he was super rude to the groom and my father. I understand that there are rules for a reason but treating people the way that he treated my husband and my father was unacceptable. Other than that, this venue is worth every penny! THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR DAY PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!

The Chateau Polonez was a beautiful venue to get married. The staff and liason were very professional and accommodating when they could be. The venue does have some restrictions that you need to be aware of when you are first deciding to use them. The quality of the food was excellent, you just had to stay within their options. The place is beautiful and well taken care of. Our wedding definitely exceeded our expectations and in part was due to the Chateau Polonez.

Absolutely gorgeous venue! Everything ran very smoothly and the staff is very helpful and polite. It is high in cost and they are not very flexible on appointment times.

Thank you so much for your review! We appreciate all feedback good and bad. We are happy that you had a great time at your event! We try our best to be as flexible as we can with our appointments offering appointments after 5pm at least one day a week. We have also started offering appointment times on Saturdays where our event schedule permits to help those that are not able to get the time off or are planning from out of town. As for the high cost, we always do our research to make sure our prices are comparable to other private venues that share our quality of service and style. As a private venue, we are not equally comparable to hotels, country clubs, or multi-purpose spaces. We offer only one event a day, so you enjoy the luxury of a completely private space on 5 acres of manicured and without sharing your day with other events, golfers, club members, hotel guests, etc. Events are our specialty so we focus on giving our clients an amazing experience. Again, we appreciate all the feedback and will be sure to use this information to make the experience better for all future clients.

Such a beautiful place. very nice owners. totally willing to work with u on anything. can be made to be affordable.. the huge windows, chandeliers, and lighing make the place look so elegant. Outside is perfect for beautiful pictures. i fell in love with this place when i saw it. it made for the perfect big wedding spot. I had almost 150 ppl there. I wouldnt change a thing..... kinda hard to find via gps, but im sure everybody figured it out and forgot their troubles as soon as they got there :)

The Chateau is a beautiful and wonderful place to have your reception. The staff is super nice and helpful along the way. The food is great..all made right on site with some of it from gardens on the property. My wedding was beautiful and went off without a hitch.
Some cons to this place - alcohol is expensive (although good selection and many choices) and are not super flexible when it comes to additional hours at the bar and type of service. Security could be a little tighter as guests were able to sneak into the bride's room (w/out permission doing who knows what) during the reception (which happened) and that's where my bridesmaids and i had our personal...

Thanks so much for letting us be a part of your special day. We always strive to be better and better, and appreciate all our reviews, good and bad. They help us see our strengths and areas where we can improve. We have looked into the items you listed as cons. We just installed new locks on both the bride and groom's rooms with keypad entry, so only those with the code can enter those rooms. As for the alcohol, we looked into other bar packages at other locations, but found that our prices are comparable for what we offer. We have lots of variety in our beers, wines, and full liquor selections, all name brand liquors in our house and premium selections, and a built in bar fully stocked to make a wide selection of cocktails. We try our best to offer a vast variety of bar packages ranging from non-alcoholic to premium open bars, offering open bar options, tab bar, and cash bar as well. We have always had the option of extending your bar, and still do for those that want to party past the standard 4 hours. Thanks so much for your feedback and helping us become an even better venue!

They did exactly what they said they were going to do from beginning to end! This venue has it all! The personal service on the day of was spectacular by Kasia! The food was wonderfully prepared and enjoyed by all! The value was great due to us getting married on a Friday and booking it before 2011! Many of our guests were blown away by Chateau Polonez ... citing how perfect it was for weddings. Internet pictures don't do justice to this venue. While it can accomodate many guests, it still provides an intimate feel. Spend the afternoon to go & visit and then get ready to put your deposit down.

Great place and the staff was very helpful. Kasia answered our questions and was accomodating to our needs. The night of the ceremony and reception the rest of the staff was exceptional. I got great feedback from many of our guest and they really loved Chateau Polonez. We got our dream wedding here and I highly recommend it. There are so many things to worry the day of the wedding (trust me), the little details and transitions, but they took care of it and I didn't need to worry once the wedding started. They took over and I enjoyed my wedding. I will remember it always.

Absolutely lovely venue! Loved working with the staff (Janet in particular), and the food turned out wonderful. I know that can't always be said for wedding food. I felt like it was very easy to work with them, and they were always responded quickly to questions. Also very accomodating. May not be the venue for you if you're looking for something informal or somewhat less expensive. But definitely worth checking out!

As the mother of the bride I was not only trying to find a beautiful place but one that provided friendly, excellent service. Janet with Chateau Polonez could not have fit that requirement more perfectly. Everytime I needed a question answered or just help in making some decision she always greeted me with a smile and a friendly voice. The night of the wedding EVERYTHING was perfect! The venue was clean and shined from top to bottom. The staff were exceptional with their food preperation and serving of food and drink. I honestly could not tell you one thing we would have changed or done differently because perfection was a top priority for Janet and her staff. My husband and I received many comments for weeks on how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had at the wedding. The venue has so many areas for guest including the beautiful outside gardens. Our pictures taken outside turned out so beautiful as well as the ones inside. Our photographer said that the venue has great lighting for both inside and outside pictures. The ceremony pictures in front of the tall windows were so stunning. This is the most beautiful venue in Houston! I had the most amazing wedding that I could have ever hoped for. Janet was so helpful and brought all of my visions to life. The food was great too! I think about my wedding every day of my life, and would give anything to go back and re-live that night!

The venus is gorgeous and the staff is very helpful. My wedding and reception went off without a hitch because of the professionalism of the staff. My only complaint is that there was a lack of flexibility in making some choices; such as we were forced to have our rehearsal for a Saturday wedding on Thursday because another event was booked at the venue on Friday evening. Also, we could not bring in two bottles of our own champagne to enjoy at the reception and no outside food or beverage was permitted to be brought on the day of the event no matter the circumstance. These are just a few examples of their inflexibility. Overall, I am extremely happy that we chose this venue and I would highly recommend it to others.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We appreciate hearing from our clients. We seek to always take note of things that clients do not like, and seeing what we can do to improve in those areas. We have changed our rental structure to offer time blocks that are ample for all our events, and with this change it does allow us to be more flexible in ceremony rehearsal times even if there is another event on a Friday. Due to laws set by TABC, it is illegal to bring in outside alcohol to an establishment that carries a permit to serve alcohol. So you cannot bring in your own champagne, however we have always been very open to special ordering certain alcohols for clients. As for the outside food, we have a fabulous caterer that can accommodate most styles of cuisine and offers many fusion dishes. We do now allow selective outside catering for some cultural cuisines that we cannot make authentically, and encourage any potential clients to inquire about these options.

Beautiful venue! All of our guests were amazed at how great everything looked! It was really great because we didn't have to spend hardly any extra money on decorations. All we needed were candles. Perfect day!
As stated by previous reviewers, this place is gorgeous and perfect for hosting both the ceremony and reception at the same site. My fiance and I toured this place as one of our options and felt that we could find another suitable place at a less expensive cost and still get more than what they offer for a cheaper price. One of my favorite aspects of the building is that if you choose to have your ceremony indoors, your guests relocate uptairs but can still view the after-ceremony photo shoot as they have cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres in the upstairs area while they are transitioning the dining area into the reception. A big negative for me, personally, was that a wedding coordinator is not included in what you pay for. If I am going to pay upwards of $20,000 to one venue who boasts to be all inclusive, I expect to get someone who can corral guests and other vendors without having to pay extra. If you have an unlimited budget, then this is the place for you, but if you are informative and clear on your expectations, you can surely find better options for the same price if not less.

This place was absolutely beautiful, however it is difficult to work with the vendor. They are very picky and are very inflexible. They are also very expensive for what you get and try to nickel and dime you for every dollar.

Thanks so much for your feedback. It is important to hear back from our clients, and make sure we are constantly improving. We apologize if you feel like you were nickel and dimed. The way our pricing structure was set up when you had your event was more a la carte so it gave us the flexibility to customize each event, which we thought clients would appreciate. Overall, our total prices were and still are comparable to other venue similar to ours. Currently, our pricing structure is built differently, but we still try to accommodate different requests. We also apologize if you felt like we were inflexible for your event. We know some of your vendors wanted to come in on Thanksgiving day, but our office was closed so that our employees could enjoy this time with their family. We hope overall you had an amazing wedding!
The rental fee was a bit outrageous, but the mansion is AMAZING. They weren't available on our date, but if they had been we would have gladly paid the price.
They weren't available on our date, but it is amazing. We fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. They're very pricey & it doesn't really include anything aside from the venue, but you'll definitely not find anything like it in Houston.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at Chateau Polonez 10/9/09. It was the most beautiful night of our lives! From the moment we toured, my daughter knew it was her top choice. Janet helped us every step of the way... from food tasting to a top notch vendor list. Linora's flowers literally took my breath away. The DJ was excellent and kept things on track perfectly! His photo booth was a huge hit. Jenni's Bridal Portraits taken there are beautiful with the spiral staircase, fountains and lake! The food and service was excellent I could go on and on about how wonderful Chateau Polonez is and how helpful they are. After touring all the venues, going to Bridal Extravaganzas and much research, we feel like we found the best! Thank you for the perfect wedding reception Chateau Polonez!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. We didn't have to decorate much being that the venue already looks great as is. The staff did a great job for our wedding. There is one person there who I thought was very unprofessional (gave me a rude response when I asked if the carpet could be cleaned and if the floor could get waxed before my event - the floors (especially the carpets) were very dirty). My overall experience was great. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants an elegant and classy event. Kasia was my planner there and she did an excellent job.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We apologize if you felt anyone was rude to you. The quality of our services including customer service is important to us, so we will make sure all staff upholds our company values when they represent Chateau Polonez. We do get all floors cleaned regularly, but it is difficult to ensure our bi-monthly waxing/deep-cleaning will occur the day before an event. The carpets had taken their fair share of spills and were developing stains that were un-removable even by professionals. So, we are proud to announce that all of our carpets on the second level have been removed and replaced with brand new oak floors. Thanks again for your feedback!

Chateau Polonez is a beautiful venue to have a beautiful wedding. Very little else needs to be added to have a beautiful event. The "hosts" of the facility worked well with all the vendors, worked well with the bride, and especially the father of the bride. It was just a great experience.

This place is a little pricey but so well worth the money. I actually had my DREAM wedding. Everything went off without a hitch. And the food was awesome.
This place is EXPENSIVE, but perfect for both ceremony & reception. My favorite was the bar area. Perfect place for the guys to just hang out & have a drink.

Chateau Polonez is a beautiful location for a wedding! The staff is helpful and works very well with a wedding planner. I recommend this location simply because of how gorgeous it is... the rest of the experience was just the icing on the wedding cake!
Chateau Polonez is such an place of elegance,....shooting and event there is like having a a subject in the muse. The staff is always professionally mannered, makes me proud to be a vendor there. Basia is always a beckon call. I wished all our photography events were at Chateau Polonez.

Being a Professional DJ for over twenty years I've seen alot of facilities all over the country and especially here in Houston. Chateau Polonez is an absolutely amazing place. The decor is incredible making this place a photographers dream and I'm telling you this as a DJ. From the parking lot to the back of the kitchen, spotless. Since I mentioned the kitchen, let's talk food...everything is fresh not frozen packaged food. I'm no chef but I love food and I've been known to eat...alot. Seriously it is that good! Overall though what really sets Chateau Polonez apart is the service. Kasia and Janet are so friendly they almost seem like family as soon as you meet them. Please do not take my review lightly as I don't endorse companies unless I truly believe in them and would use them personally.
