Chateau Polonez

The rental fee was a bit outrageous, but the mansion is AMAZING. They weren't available on our date, but if they had been we would have gladly paid the price.

This place is EXPENSIVE, but perfect for both ceremony & reception. My favorite was the bar area. Perfect place for the guys to just hang out & have a drink.

This place is a little pricey but so well worth the money. I actually had my DREAM wedding. Everything went off without a hitch. And the food was awesome.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do from beginning to end! This venue has it all! The personal service on the day of was spectacular by Kasia! The food was wonderfully prepared and enjoyed by all! The value was great due to us getting married on a Friday and booking it before 2011! Many of our guests were blown away by Chateau Polonez ... citing how perfect it was for weddings. Internet pictures don't do justice to this venue. While it can accomodate many guests, it still provides an intimate feel. Spend the afternoon to go & visit and then get ready to put your deposit down.

Great place and the staff was very helpful. Kasia answered our questions and was accomodating to our needs. The night of the ceremony and reception the rest of the staff was exceptional. I got great feedback from many of our guest and they really loved Chateau Polonez. We got our dream wedding here and I highly recommend it. There are so many things to worry the day of the wedding (trust me), the little details and transitions, but they took care of it and I didn't need to worry once the wedding started. They took over and I enjoyed my wedding. I will remember it always.

As the mother of the bride I was not only trying to find a beautiful place but one that provided friendly, excellent service. Janet with Chateau Polonez could not have fit that requirement more perfectly. Everytime I needed a question answered or just help in making some decision she always greeted me with a smile and a friendly voice. The night of the wedding EVERYTHING was perfect! The venue was clean and shined from top to bottom. The staff were exceptional with their food preperation and serving of food and drink. I honestly could not tell you one thing we would have changed or done differently because perfection was a top priority for Janet and her staff. My husband and I received many comments for weeks on how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had at the wedding. The venue has so many areas for guest including the beautiful outside gardens. Our pictures taken outside turned out so beautiful as well as the ones inside. Our photographer said that the venue has great lighting for both inside and outside pictures. The ceremony pictures in front of the tall windows were so stunning. Beautiful venue! All of our guests were amazed at how great everything looked! It was really great because we didn't have to spend hardly any extra money on decorations. All we needed were candles. Perfect day!

Chateau Polonez is a beautiful venue to have a beautiful wedding. Very little else needs to be added to have a beautiful event. The "hosts" of the facility worked well with all the vendors, worked well with the bride, and especially the father of the bride. It was just a great experience.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at Chateau Polonez 10/9/09. It was the most beautiful night of our lives! From the moment we toured, my daughter knew it was her top choice. Janet helped us every step of the way... from food tasting to a top notch vendor list. Linora's flowers literally took my breath away. The DJ was excellent and kept things on track perfectly! His photo booth was a huge hit. Jenni's Bridal Portraits taken there are beautiful with the spiral staircase, fountains and lake! The food and service was excellent I could go on and on about how wonderful Chateau Polonez is and how helpful they are. After touring all the venues, going to Bridal Extravaganzas and much research, we feel like we found the best! Thank you for the perfect wedding reception Chateau Polonez!

This is the most beautiful venue in Houston! I had the most amazing wedding that I could have ever hoped for. Janet was so helpful and brought all of my visions to life. The food was great too! I think about my wedding every day of my life, and would give anything to go back and re-live that night!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. We didn't have to decorate much being that the venue already looks great as is. The staff did a great job for our wedding. There is one person there who I thought was very unprofessional (gave me a rude response when I asked if the carpet could be cleaned and if the floor could get waxed before my event - the floors (especially the carpets) were very dirty). My overall experience was great. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants an elegant and classy event. Kasia was my planner there and she did an excellent job.

The Chateau is a beautiful and wonderful place to have your reception. The staff is super nice and helpful along the way. The food is great..all made right on site with some of it from gardens on the property. My wedding was beautiful and went off without a hitch. Some cons to this place - alcohol is expensive (although good selection and many choices) and are not super flexible when it comes to additional hours at the bar and type of service. Security could be a little tighter as guests were able to sneak into the bride's room (w/out permission doing who knows what) during the reception (which happened) and that's where my bridesmaids and i had our personal belongings.

Absolutely lovely venue! Loved working with the staff (Janet in particular), and the food turned out wonderful. I know that can't always be said for wedding food. I felt like it was very easy to work with them, and they were always responded quickly to questions. Also very accomodating. May not be the venue for you if you're looking for something informal or somewhat less expensive. But definitely worth checking out!

Chateau Polonez is a beautiful location for a wedding! The staff is helpful and works very well with a wedding planner. I recommend this location simply because of how gorgeous it is... the rest of the experience was just the icing on the wedding cake!

This place was absolutely beautiful, however it is difficult to work with the vendor. They are very picky and are very inflexible. They are also very expensive for what you get and try to nickel and dime you for every dollar.

The venus is gorgeous and the staff is very helpful. My wedding and reception went off without a hitch because of the professionalism of the staff. My only complaint is that there was a lack of flexibility in making some choices; such as we were forced to have our rehearsal for a Saturday wedding on Thursday because another event was booked at the venue on Friday evening. Also, we could not bring in two bottles of our own champagne to enjoy at the reception and no outside food or beverage was permitted to be brought on the day of the event no matter the circumstance. These are just a few examples of their inflexibility. Overall, I am extremely happy that we chose this venue and I would highly recommend it to others.

As stated by previous reviewers, this place is gorgeous and perfect for hosting both the ceremony and reception at the same site. My fiance and I toured this place as one of our options and felt that we could find another suitable place at a less expensive cost and still get more than what they offer for a cheaper price. One of my favorite aspects of the building is that if you choose to have your ceremony indoors, your guests relocate uptairs but can still view the after-ceremony photo shoot as they have cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres in the upstairs area while they are transitioning the dining area into the reception. A big negative for me, personally, was that a wedding coordinator is not included in what you pay for. If I am going to pay upwards of $20,000 to one venue who boasts to be all inclusive, I expect to get someone who can corral guests and other vendors without having to pay extra. If you have an unlimited budget, then this is the place for you, but if you are informative and clear on your expectations, you can surely find better options for the same price if not less.

Being a Professional DJ for over twenty years I've seen alot of facilities all over the country and especially here in Houston. Chateau Polonez is an absolutely amazing place. The decor is incredible making this place a photographers dream and I'm telling you this as a DJ. From the parking lot to the back of the kitchen, spotless. Since I mentioned the kitchen, let's talk food...everything is fresh not frozen packaged food. I'm no chef but I love food and I've been known to eat...alot. Seriously it is that good! Overall though what really sets Chateau Polonez apart is the service. Kasia and Janet are so friendly they almost seem like family as soon as you meet them. Please do not take my review lightly as I don't endorse companies unless I truly believe in them and would use them personally.
