We can't say enough about how wonderful it was working with Cheesecake, Etc. on our wedding cake. The cake truly came out just like I had imagined and tasted even better! Every guest raved about how wonderful it looked and tasted. I am so happy we chose Cheesecake Etc. for our wedding cake! My husband and I had a small wedding, and we met with other bakers who made our 50-person event seem insignificant and not worthy of a great cake. When we met with Gail, we received the same service and consideration as we would have if we were having a 200-person event. Our tasting experience was personalized and friendly, and I felt so confident in Gail that I did not worry at all about any aspect of the wedding cake. Best of all, the cake was exactly what my husband and I had hoped for, and many of our guests said it was the most delicious wedding cake we had ever had. So thrilled!

This cake was not only beautiful, but also tasted great! I have never been to a wedding where the entire cake was eaten, but eveyone went back for seconds!

The cake that Gail designed for me was not only beautiful and creative but also delicious. Gail designed a pewter and canarey yellow pearlized cake for my reception that was stunning. The design was an original and helped to make my reception an unforgettable experience.

Gail worked us in at the last minute and we were very pleased! All of the cakes tasted great and she offered helpful hints about flavor pairings. I brought in some pictures and within a few minutes of talking she had sketched out the perfect cake for us. When we saw the cake on our wedding day, It looked great, and tasted even better. Gail provided us with excellent service speedy delivery and worked with our florest with little difficulty. we were told she is one of the best and that statement did not fail us. Cheesecake Etc. made our wedding cake and it was beautiful. When we first met with them for our tasting we fell in love with the flavors! Every cake and icing was so good that we ended up choosing 3 different kinds. I started with an idea for the cake and gail came up with the most amazing design! Gail was absolutely fantastic to work with. After cake tastings at two other places I was seriously disheartened, yes the cakes were beautiful but they tasted totally boring. As soon as we walked into Gails kitchen we got a second wind of excitement, you are surrounded by examples of her gorgeous craftsmanship and the smells of freshly baked homemade cakes! We ate every little bit of cake, filling, and frosting samples set before us. We chose a four-tired cake made of vanilla pound cake, raspberry cream filling, and buttercream frosting. Our guests loved it, as did we! Thanks for everything Cheesecakes, etc!

Gail @ Cheesecake Etc. was FABULOUS & her cakes are DELICIOUS!! She provided us with our rehearsal dinner/groom's cake which was custom made bc we wanted our dog on there! We gave her a picture of our boxer and she made her come to life on the cake!! Then for our wedding reception she made a beautiful 4-tear wedding cake with all different flavors: Almond, Chocolate, and Italian Cream. We had a big Italian wedding so FOOD was the focus! Along with the cake, she made our reception even more delicious with her cannolis and black & white cookies. Everything was wonderful! She's a doll to work with and she has the BEST cake around (trust me, we tasted a lot!!!). Many thanks to Gail!!!!

Choosing Gail to do our cake was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. I come from an Italian family and she excecuted all the Italian cookies perfectly!. They were fresh and soft, the best Italian cookies I've had in a very long time. The cake was gorgeous. She is an artist, especially when working with buttercream icing...nothing is a challange for her. And above all Gail is extrememly nice, she can do whatever you ask, she's the best!

Gail was the absolute best! As soon as I walked into her business I could smell fresh baked goods. Her presentation was great! Professionalism superb! And I just loved her personality & demeanor. If you are anywhere near the Charlotte metro area, you have to have a cake by Cheesecake, Etc for your wedding. Gail was so responsive and professional that it made ordering our cake so easy. The detail, design and taste of cake (highly recommend german chocolate and almond with buttercream) is something that our guests still comment on...and unlike most weddings....we actually did not have any cake left over since everyone from the guests to the other vendors had a slice!! We definitely can't wait for our one-year anniversary to eat the top layer preserved in our freezer!

Everything was great! Gayle took time with us and explained everything in detail the meeting was professional and very pleasant. Gayle even did two tasting with us because my husbands schedule was crazy! We enjoyed the tasting and Gayle's lemon filling and Butter Cream is the best in this state! Our wedding was outdoors on a super hot August day. Cheesecake Etc worked with us to deliver the cake as close to the ceremony/reception time as possible to prevent melting, she loaned us a silver cake stand and this netting that hung from the tent to protect the cake from all the random outdoor dust and bugs. The cake was gorgeous and is one of the few things I remember from the night. The flavor was awesome and it was so moist, I am still hearing rave reviews about the cake even a month later. I will definitely be using Cheesecake etc in the future for all my special events!

Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!! It was beautiful and delicious!!! We truly could not have asked for a better looking and tasting cake! And Gail was so flexible with us. I wanted purple icing with glitter and flowers and she was completely willing to do anything that I wanted. She even took swatches from my bridesmaids' dresses to make sure the icing matched perfectly. Gail and her daughter are hands down "the BEST"! The cake, Phenomenal ( no doubt). I found out about Cheesecake Etc when I went for a fitting for my dress at the Bridal House and notice that my mom, "to be" mom In-law, and one of my bridesmaids eating the cake display and i'm like "hey, don't eat the display". And the shop looked at me and said "No, please eat it and eat a lot of it". OMG, it was the best. Just plain ole fashion, hand-made chocolate cake w/ the best buttercream icing. We were like, WHO MADE THIS CAKE! It was then The Bridal House's next door neighbor Cheesecake Etc. We were the last one that Gail could fit in on the 15th of May.

Take my advice, Cheesecake Etc is one to remember and after you eat one piece, it will be one that you will never forget.

Gail is an awesome baker!! She did our wedding cake and it was perfect!! We went for a cake tasting and everything was soo delicious, that it was hard to choose a flavor. In the end we chose a top layer of coconut and a bottom layer of chocolate, with the filling of raspberry creamcheese. Everybody said it was the best wedding cake ever! THanks to Cheesecake Etc! :D

JUST AMAZING! Fabulous designs, great tasting cake, sooooo easy to work with. After the initial meeting, I never had to answer another question. Everything was done for me. When you have so much to plan, its great to have a vendor who knows what they are doing. Also, so many other venues know Gail with Cheesecakes etc, so they can coordinate with her easily as well. Our event planner was ECSTATIC to learn Cheesecakes ETC was doing my cake. AWESOME!

We went to the cake tasting and everything was good. Gail is so wonderful, she will work with you and help you anyway that she can. They also call before the wedding date to confirm everything without you having to call them first. We got to the reception and the cake was beautiful. Again since David's Bridal Apple was our color, I wanted a cake with the ribbon around the cake, it is hard to find ribbon in that exact color. SHe happened to have a little extra and she helped me out. Basically she goes above and beyond what she needs to do and the cake is really good.

Cheesecake Etc provided a wonderful cake for my daughters wedding. they were extreamly easy to work with and did exactly what they said they would do. they worked with the florist to decorate the wedding cake with live flowers the day of the reception to provide a truely unique wedding cake. Both look and taste of cake were wonderful. I will certainly use them again in the future

We had kind of a more difficult design for our cake. The tiers had different things on them and some needed stencils she didn't have. I brought a picture I had found online of exactly what I wanted for our cake and she helped me find a perfect stencil online that she bought. I was nervous because the picture was so perfect and I wanted the cake to be just like it. On the day of the wedding, when I saw the cake for the first time, I was so excited. It matched perfectly and was the perfect finishing touch to everything. It actually made me tear up a bit. We got so many complements on the look of the cake and its taste. I can't wait to eat our top tier on our anniversary!

Cheesecake Etc. is the best!!! From the first day of meeting Gail up to my wedding day and not being able to see the cake until the reception, I wasn't worried at all. My cake was gorgeous and everyone who saw it said it looked like something out a fairy tale. I loved that we were able to do different tastes and flavors for each tier as well. I got so many compliments on my cake. The way it looked, the way it tasted. It was a simple yellow cake with chocolate mousse filling. White icing. But Exceptional! I was so pleased.

My cake was awesome! I had an image in my head of exactly what I wanted. Gail sat down with me and a couple of my friends to taste different cakes and icings. She even had styrofoam blocks to put together to see what different size cakes looked like together. She got out her colored pencils and drew exactly what I wanted.

They were great to work with. Sat down and showed us sample of their work and allowed us to do a taste test of different types of cake offered. By the way the cake was delicious. Overall the experience was great. I would definitely recommend them.

TRUE STORY: When my sister got married, unfortunately she did NOT use Gail and her Wedding was almost ruined as the cake company she hired did not show up until about an hour AFTER the guests were already there and then they almost dropped it in their panic to set it up. You know what sets Cheesecake Etc. apart from many of the cakes that we get to try at all of the weddings? Its the fact that 8-10 hours later the cake is still moist, the icing isn't hard, the cake is not crumbly, it is just simply amazing. Highly recommend all their cakes and pastries!!!
