AMAZING!!! In our busy life--we always take time to stop--reflect--and celebrate the special moments of our lives. Most of our family celebrations occur over a shared meal with loved ones. For our daughter's wedding, Chef Kathi and her team provided fabulous food, presented beautifully, with no interruption to our intimate family moments. Glasses were always full, the buffet always replenished, and our spirits refreshed by the meal we shared. What a wonderful way to begin a new life together!

WOW! What else can we say except WOW! For the food and service to the professionalism and Chef Kathi herself.
When we first started this journey of planning our wedding in Hawaii (from overseas!), 9 months ago, we of course had no idea which catering services to use. We however KNEW EXACTLY what we wanted to eat on our special day! So we listed all the menu items we wanted and sent out a “feeler” email to several caterers in Oahu. When the replies came through we saw that some completely disregarded what we asked for, others put in changes and modifications that were irrelevant to the cuisine we wanted (Tex-Mex) clearly assuming we hadn’t done our research, and some were just outrageously priced given our modest number of wedding guests (30). Chef Kathi’s reply easily stuck out, because hers’ was the only one that said “Yes, no problem, I can do this”, she was willing to produce the dishes as we requested, offered a few fantastic twists to them, and was the most reasonable and transparently priced caterer we came across.
After a couple of emails and phone calls, our catering contract was quickly settled, and stayed the same all the way till the big day. Out of all our wedding vendors, she was the only one who proactively picked up the phone to stay in contact with us or clarify any details when necessary. Not only was this one of her many professional traits but it gave us, as customers, that “personal” bond with our vendor which paved the way for a very smooth, hassle free and in the end, fantastic service.
The food was absolutely to die for! As self-anointed experts on Tex-Mex food, Chef Kathi’s creations completely took the cuisine to another level and absolutely blew us away. Please note that more than half our guests we’re discerning “food connoisseurs” from Malaysia (as all Malaysians claim to be!), who were a tad sceptical and unsure when we mentioned the cuisine that would be served on the night. One bite in and they were instant converts! We had rave, vocal reviews and commendations all night for her food. The service and delivery were equally fantastic to match.
One thing any lucky couple will take delight in is that Chef Kathi does more than just great food. She will also provide a complete dining experience to further enhance the cuisine you pick. She took care of the décor and the design of the buffet table to suit to the food’s theme without us even requesting for it. We were very pleasantly surprised by her tasteful eye to suit with the rest of our wedding theme. (Happy to share photos)
Catering aside, you’ll find Chef Kathi to be an amazingly warm, friendly person who is larger than life! She accommodates, she works with you but most importantly, she listens to you. She is a true professional in every sense of the word, loves what she does, revels in the details and will be go above and beyond for anyone who has the good fortune of securing her time and services. We were truly lucky and blessed to have found someone like her. Thank you so very much Kathi!
