Chelly Cruz has delivered my wife and I some stunning photos in the past year.
Chelly was the photographer for both our engadgement and wedding photos. He truly is skilled in his craft and knows several techniques and tricks to help get the best shots.
For our engadgement photos, Chelly suggested an early morning shoot, as the sunrise delivers some of the best lighting conditions not easily duplicated in a studio. So we braved the early morning temperatures, and the results were amazing! In the photos, the sunrise really added a level of color to the skin that I never truly appreciated before.
At the same shoot, we found ourselves in 2 additional unplanned locations that yeilded great results; an alleyway next to some derelict buildings, and on top a huge tractor parked in an open construction yard. What we take for granted as our normal surroundings in day-to-day life, became transformed into a beautiful backdrop for our engadgment photos.
For our wedding, we were pressured for time so Chelly had to squeeze as many photos as possible into a tight schedule. There was also the disadvantage of not being able to visit the location prior to the event; but like a true professional, he quickly assessed his surroundings and found the most awesome shots for our special day.
We are really happy with what Chelly has done for us. He’s given us photos that will be forever timeless…images that evoke the spirit of that time and day that we can share with our friends, children and other generations to come. Thank you Chelly for sharing your talent with us.

Chelly is a great photographer.He did our engagement session. The pictures were great.He was also a secondary photographer on our wedding day.I heard all positive feedback from my wedding party.
Chelly did a fabulous job as our wedding photographer. We met him 6 months before our big day for an engagement shoot. It was great getting to know each other and building trust. He got us to loosen up in front of the camera pretty quickly. He was able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner. So, when our wedding day arrived, we knew we were in good hands. We even got a nice surprise when he showed up with an assistant! A couple of months later we were very pleased with all of the great pictures he took. They were artistic, professional, and totally captured the fun and joy of our wedding. Overall, Chelly is very easy to work with and we would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a wedding photog.
what can i say, the pictures speak for themselves! chelly did an awesome job taking memorable "on and off cam" photos of us on our special day. what we like is how he captured the endearing candid moments, stuff that u dont normally see in wedding albums. he is really flexible and he immediately knows what works for you.

Chelly has been a long time friend of mine and my husband's. He wasn't our official photographer but the pictures he took of our wedding are as good as the official photographer's. If I would have known, I would have hired him as The Photographer! I now know who to go to for my future kid's photos, graduations, etc....

We met him and his gracious wife Melorie at a park in Glendale on a foggy Saturday morning for our engagement session, and absolutely enjoyed playing "models". Although we don't need much prodding to go all lovey-dovey on each other, Chelly's directing-without-directing style put us right at ease.
While we were at it, Chelly clued us in on how to ensure that your engagement and wedding photos are images that you'll love looking at for the rest of your life.
Weddings are filled with moments that will pass us by. Chelly brings out those moments and relives them through his love of photography. I believe Chelly is not only skilled in capturing the big things such as "The Kiss" but also the little touches of details that our naked eye might have missed.
Chelly has the eye of a "Tiger" which is why the photo that he took of "THE KISS" is special for my wife and I. He captured the surrounding background with amazing details and colors that filled that moment memorable and special. Thanks Chelly!!!

Chelly Cruz picked up the camera as a hobby taking pictures of his firstborn son. Oddly as it may sound, he immediately found himself being a high fashion photographer shooting people from top modeling agencies.
However, his love for photography didn’t end there; he enjoyed taking pictures of everyday people in natural settings... including weddings.
Then, when Chelly attended weddings, he would take photos of the event and the couple, and found people admiring and loving his photos -- which brings him here!
