Chestnut Hill Bed & Breakfast Inn

This is the most beautiful B&B ever! Troy and Kathleen were so welcoming and attentive to our needs the whole weekend. They did everything possible to be sure the wedding went smoothly and that we were comfortable. They opened up their house to us so that we could do what we needed to get ready and have a great time. The venue is beautiful and is perfect. It was so great having everything in one location as well as being able to stay there the weekend. I loved having everyone there to stay the weekend so that we could get ready and spend time together with the wedding party. I had the best weekend and the best wedding!!

This past weekend I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding at Chestnut Hill. Although I was sure her wedding would be beautiful no matter what, I was blown away. Not only is Chestnut Hill a gorgeous inn and property, the owners, Troy and Kathleen, and their amazing staff really made the experience perfect! They went above and beyond to make sure the entire weekend went smoothly! The rooms are not only beautiful but they were comfortable which meant a lot to everyone who stayed. I can't wait to go back for a weekend getaway and eat some more of Kathleen's chocolate chip cookies and the bacon, forget about it! Such a memorable weekend :)

Being honest, I have high expectations, and with that being said; Chesnut Hill's Bed & Breakfast was a truly a delight. From the exquisitely decorated interior and the beautifully landscaped outdoors, this bed & breakfast stands in a class of its' own. A five-star rating simply is not enough!! The service recieved from Troy and Kathleen, and their staff was very much one of a kind. The food was delicious, the service was great. The wedding ceremony and the reception were beautifully done. I would recommend Chesnut Hill's Bed & Breakfast to anyone; whether it be a nice weekend get-a-way, or a future bride who is wanting to have a personal, beautiful, and memorable experience. I give Chesnut Hill a Ten-Star rating!! Thank you for an excellent memories!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at Chestnut Hill Bed and Breakfast while serving as a maid of honor for my best friend. It was the best weekend getaway I have ever been to. Troy and Kathleen went above and beyond to make sure it was an unforgettable weekend for the bridal party as well as the guests. The beds were extremely comfortable. The daily breakfast was the best I have ever had served and the atmosphere and decor of Chestnut Hill is superb. The wedding itself was elegant and beautiful beyond words. I would highly recommend Chestnut Hill to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway or a place to have a wedding.

Our wedding was one that was planned to be very small and intimate. Never in our wildest dreams did we realize with the help of Kathleen and Troy that it would be so elegant. Our day could not have been more perfect! Kathleen and Troy were more than InnKeepers they are truly wedding coordinators. Our cake was "the best cake I have ever tasted" that was my husbands quote. The breakfasts were out of this world prepared by Kathleen herself and her staff. The cookies! fresh baked daily and warm... so good we just had to take some home :) We will never,ever forget our PERFECT wedding. I don't think my husband and I have ever felt so relaxed and comfortable as we did during our stay at Chestnut Hill Bed & Breakfast. I would also like to add the ENTIRE staff at Chestnut Hill are wonderful we did not meet one person who works there who didn't go above and beyond to make sure we always had everything we could want or need.

Thanks to Kathleen & Troy for making our son's wedding dream come true. No detail was overlooked. The food was excellent and the stay was a luxurious experience that exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed the personalized service. Troy and Kathleen made this a lifetime experience.

I had my wedding there and absolutely loved it! The place is so beautiful and elegant! Decoration inside of the house is impeccable. You can tell the owner put thorough thoughts into every single details. Outside, there are romantic settings with white columns and water fountain that's perfect for a wedding. It rained on my wedding day so we had the ceremony inside. It was just as nice having it inside under the crystal chandeliers. We had a small group with family members only so it all worked out :-) Kathleen and Troy showed us great hospitality and we couldn't ask for more. Kathleen made little red rose bouquets for every little girl in the wedding without we even asking. Troy had been super patient helping us picking the ceremony music. We had such a great time at the Chestnut Hill. My husband and I are already talking about going back for our first anniversary :-)

The owners of Chestnut Hill are incredible. They are very professional, accommodating and most importantly they make you feel welcome at their Bed and Breakfast. They pay particular attention to those small details that truly make the occasion special. The backyard setting is fabulous...complete with a fountain and columns, a perfect backdrop for saying your "I do's" or renewing them as my husband and I just did for our 10 year anniversary! Thank you Kathleen and Troy for helping to make this a truly beautiful memory.

Absolutely outstanding quality and service. Kathleen and Troy and their staff at Chestnut Hill went out of their way to make things comfortable and stress free for our daughter's wedding. The wedding was a success with their expert assistance. We highly recommend Chestnut Hill and we will be back.

From the service to the grounds and the accommodations, Chestnut Hill greatly exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding! Kathleen and Troy were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home every step of the way.

Beautiful place to get married! Troy and Kathleen helped with every detail. I planned everything online and couldnt have done it without their help! Pictures turned out amazing, the fountain and grounds made great photo ops and the house with the exceptional decor was just stunning!

My daughter came to me today to thank me and say that her wedding was the most beautiful she could have ever dreamed of having and she wouldn't change a thing! She was so happy with it that she would want to do it all over again if it were possible! What more does a parent want to hear from her daughter! She went on and on about how much everyone enjoyed the grounds, the atmosphere, access to the house - and she was so excited when she saw couples walking hand in hand and asking others to take their picture in front of the beautiful fountains or flower beds! It was such a romantic setting that it affected everyone! After the wedding she and her husband stayed the night and said the staff at Chestnut Hill took excellent care of them making sure they had everything they needed! She said in the morning the breakfast was unbelievable and she found that she didn't want to leave! I know that everyone was amazed at the beauty and fantastic atmosphere Chestnut Hill B&B has! I couldn't have done this wedding without the enormous advice and assistance that was given to me Kathleen and Troy, the owners of Chestnut Hill ! They truly set the pace for other B&B's to try to match! The care they took, and concern they had for each detail of the day's event, making sure everything ran smooth, would have made you think that this was their own daughter's wedding! It is truly "the spot" for a fantastic wedding - and for that romantic get away! Both my husband and I thank Kathleen, Troy and the entire staff at Chestnut Hill B&B for all of your efforts. You are on our "very short" list of places to return!

Troy and Kathleen welcomed us into their beautiful home with smiles and hospitality. Every morning we awoke to a gourmet breakfast in a lovely dining room. They were always helpful, from suggestions for fun day activities to fantastic dining experiences. We were never disappointed. The wineries were exceptional, so many flavors and choices. Lovely Montpelier only a short drive away. A cute little bar with live music just down the street. Kathleen always smiling, and Troy always helpful. We thank them both for a lovely honeymoon week and we will be back!

I worked as a wedding planner for a bride who got married at Chestnut Hill B & B. The proprietors are warm and welcoming. The house always smells like cookies, the rooms are well kept and luxurious. The grounds are perfect for a tent wedding.
It's a beautiful venue for a wedding or vow renewal. You feel like you're at home. The breakfast is fantastic and Kathleen and Troy bend over backwards to please their clients.
