ChewingtheCud provided a unique full-service design, printing, and shipping all-in-one. After completing Viola's questionnaire, mood boards were designed for my fiance and I. We narrowed our idea and theme of our wedding and Viola began creating a brand for our wedding. My fiance (now husband) was a chef and I a sommelier before we both decided to go back to school. Our "brand" became a crossed spoon and fork, with "some things just belong together" as our tag-line. With Viola, we created custom save-the-dates, invitations, menus, place-cards, escort cards, table cards, well-wishes recipe cards, shuttle cards, totes, stickers for salt and pepper tins, and cookbook favors. All of the printed materials created a cohesive wedding theme that left my guests in awe. My only regret is that I don't get to work with Viola at ChewingtheCud anymore!!

After looking at wedding invitations for months, I figured I was just going to have to settle on something standard, until I saw an article that featured some amazing custom Chewing the Cud invitations and I was totally smitten.
From the moment I called to discuss my options, Viola was a dream to work with. She was easy to talk to and incredibly conscientious. It really was one of my favorite parts of my wedding planning process.
Everyone raved about how beautiful and original the invitations were. If I wasn't working on such a tight budget, I would've had her design everything. Compared to the ones you find in stationary stores, Chewing the Cud invitations might seem expensive at first, but you get much more than you pay for. The quality of the product and her style, both artistically and professionally, is worth every penny.
I'm not a relative, coworker or old friend of Viola's, I'm just a truly satisfied customer. She deserves a 5 star review because that's the kind of work she does.

Chewing the cud did a fabulous job in designing our wedding invitation. We love all the designs by chewing the cud as they have distinct characteristics that set them apart from other invitation makers. Its design is simple and classy with just the right amount of details. Not too much, but just enough to make a lasting impression to the viewer. The materials used are of the best quality and we love the fact that they're environmentally friendly. Most importantly the prices are very reasonable given the quality of work that goes into its personalized invitations. So many people asked us where we did our wedding invitation and we gladly recommend them to check out chewing the cud.

"Chewing the Cud", the name alone makes you want to check out the web site. Like her business name, Viola is one of the most creative persons in the industry. She has a unique design sense that makes her stand out amongst the crowd. She has a fun and quirky aesthetics that always makes you smile when you see her creations. I also love to follow Viola's blog to keep up with all of her creative thoughts and ideas. Viola is also a agenuinely nice person and lots of fun to work with.
Viola Sutanto is in a class by herself. She is a very sweet person. And she is an extremely creative and talented designer. We were amazed that in a very short period of time Viola designed a logo that neatly incorporated everything we had hoped for but couldn't articulate. She's a mind reader! It was an instant classic. And she had many fabulous ideas. Her creativity seems limitless. Her dedication knows no bounds. She even did the work for us during the week that she was moving from one home to another. She is a consummate professional. No wonder she is one of the most in-demand stationers in the wedding industry.
Viola is one of the most talented people I've had the pleasure of knowing in the industry. Her capability to tell a story through her paper goods is amazing! She can take a simple idea and turn it into a concept, carefully threading meaningful details throughout your paper goods from the Save the Dates to your menu cards. Take a look at her portfolio and you will know exactly what I mean!
Viola is a brilliant designer. Her invitations are fresh, whimsical, and elegant. The letterpress printing is all high quality on beautiful, thick paper, and all eco friendly. She's a pleasure to work with and very professional.
