It was love at first sight meeting Chia Lieu. I saw her designs on various wedding sites online before visiting her boutique in Orange County. Chia Lieu Bridal boutique is welcoming and beautiful, and features original designs by Chia Lieu herself, as well as a few other designer gowns. Unlike most other bridal salons, Chia Lieu Bridal is not overwhelmingly filled with outdated gowns and unnecessary “décor.” I was planning my wedding from the San Francisco bay area, and Chia was very accommodating with my travel schedule. On my first visit, I tried on several gowns and realized I loved one particular design but with elements of another design. Because this is a designer-owned boutique, Chia offered to custom-make my gown incorporating my feedback. She was also very accommodating and open with regard to budget, offering more affordable options made with alternative fabrics. I had my gown and veil custom-made, and Chia was welcoming, friendly, and professional for each of my fittings. Another advantage of having my gown made by the designer was having fittings without the additional cost, time, and unreliability of alterations. She is also very knowledgeable about other wedding resources in the area because she regular attends expos. After my wedding day, Chia had my gown cleaned, and beautifully boxed (ready for display) for a reasonable price. Of all the wedding planning and decisions that I had to make, my experience at Chia Lieu Bridal was by far the most pleasant. Chia Lieu and her staff are friendly, personable, professional, and reliable.

Chia is an amazing designer. She created the wedding gown of my dreams. She caterers to your personal needs and will customize to your desire. My dress felt so comfortable, soft and light --I had a fabulous time dancing all night long. Chia uses the best materials Italian lace, silk, etc... I received complements all day long about how beautiful my wedding dress was, even some of the vendors were in awwhh. I highly recommend Chia Lieu!!!!

It was so great to meet and work with Chia! She only carries two lines of dresses which include her own designs (featured in The Knot magazines) and Casablanca. Because she is a designer, she offers great advice on finding the perfect dress based on your physical features and style. She was able to measure me and order a custom fit sized gown so that I didn't need to make any additional alterations. The dress had an amazing fit. She did some minor alterations to make sure that the dress was perfect (i.e., add bra cups, add more tulle underneath for a better flow of the dress, and bustle). She is highly recommended!!!!!!

Chia Lieu is an awesome wedding dress designer!! She creates beautiful dresses made of the finest imported material. But if you happen to be one of those brides that just can't afford a dress made of imported silk (like me), she's also a registered retailer of Casablanca bridal dresses that are made of synthetic material at a budget price. Chia exceeded my expectations. I couldn't afford one of her couture dresses but we were able to customize my Casablanca dress by changing the shape of the dress and taking out different parts and putting in other details. We created a very customized dress that fit PERFECTLY at a VERY reasonable price. She has a great attention to detail. Even when I thought my dress fit perfectly and I was happy with it, she wasn't quite satisfied. She still went above and beyond to alter it to fit just right! She was always responsive when I called. If she couldn't talk at the moment because she was in a show in New York, she would still get back to me within the same day or 24 hours. She is very honest, dependable, and loyal. She gives brides her 100%.

Very nice service. The dress I ordered was beautifully beaded and under $1000. I got the dress in a timely manner and she allowed me to try on the dress as many times as I wanted. She was very accomodating and added pearls to my headpiece for me. The only thing is that my bustle (sp) broke after our first dance.

Chia was awesome!! I took her photos of various dresses I liked and had her combine the different things on each into my dream dress. She also designed my mom and sisters dresses for the wedding. She was awesome!!! Highly, highly recommend her!
