I like to refer to Chiali as a magician. It is AMAZING What she can do with hair and make-up. From the make-up trial to my actual wedding day, Chiali was professional and an expert at what she does. She was a bit curt over email until we first met in person (after I had already hired her), and but besides that, I have zero complaints. The day of my wedding, I was supposed to have Chiali and two other make-up artists (for my bridesmaids and mom), and she came with a team of 4 others. They were so efficient and good, not only did everyone look great, they finished ahead of schedule.

I love Chiali Meng's work! I used her for my engagement session and for the wedding day and got so many compliments from my friends and family. She is really artistic and knows what will look good on you. She's got great experience ... just check out the Before & After photos on her site! You'll be wowed!

The only downside is that she is suuuper popular and busy so you need to book her well in advance. That being said, since her schedule is packed for summer weddings, her schedule isn't too flexible. She's totally worth it...

Chiali is an incredibly talented makeup artist & hair stylist. She is extremely skilled at her craft and really knows how to use make-up to accentuate existing features. She did my makeup + hair for my engagement and wedding, and I have nothing but complimentary words for her.

Third, she is exceptionally detail-oriented. She fixed every strand of my hair meticulously, and took the utmost care to make me look picture perfect!

Last, she has a great sense of style and knew exactly how to style my hair in way that best fit with my 2 dresses. On my wedding day, she was with me from 11am-7pm, and helped me to touch up my makeup and transform my up-do hair I had for my ceremony into a low, loose, side-swept pony for my second look/reception. I received so many compliments from my family & friends about how much they loved my hair & make-up...so much so that my engaged friends wanted to book her on the spot!

She definitely made me a happy bride! I can't wait to get my makeup + hair done by her again for future events that I may be attending.

Chiali is very artistic and would recommend what kind of looks would be right for you and/or go with your dresses. I am a makeup artist myself and had done a lot of weddings, so I am very picky about picking one to do my own looks on one of the biggest day of my life. The reason why I wanted to hire another MUA and hair stylist to do my looks on my wedding day is because I didn't want to stress myself out on that day. Even from the trial, Chiali impressed me enough to hire her and also her crew to do my bridesmaids' make up and hair as well. She and her team is always punctual and courteous. She delivered what I wanted on my big day (long, lustrous, curly hair that would frame my face very well). All the guests complimented me on my looks! Finding Chiali through this website was truly one of the best things that happened to me during wedding planning. I am very fortunate to have found some awesome vendors for my wedding that fit my budget, and Chiali was definitely one of the best! She is truly AMAZING! I got some hair and make-up artist recommendations from my friends who got married, but I still decided to look for one on my own and I am so glad I did. From the moment I saw her website that displayed her work of art, so attractively put together by Chiali herself, I was blown away! What convinced me to spend the money to get a trial done was her before-and-after pictures. She can truly transform a plain ordinary girl to a STUNNING beauty! She is THAT good!

I contacted Chiali for her availability for my September wedding back in January, and she was almost booked even 8 months before the big day! She is THAT popular, so book her early! I actually wanted my make-up to be done sometime in the afternoon, closer to the start time of my wedding, but although she was only available from 9:30-11:30 in the morning of the wedding day, I still decided to do a trial with her because her clients' pictures were so convincing. Being a student, I didn't have much money to drop on hair and make-up trials, so I had to choose wisely. There were so many vendors to choose from on this website that was quite overwhelming, but something was telling me Chiali was THE ONE. I am so glad I listened to my instinct. From the moment I began contact with Chiali, I liked her instantly. She is truly professional, promptly responding to my every inquiry and thoroughly addressing all my concerns.

When I met Chiali in person for the first time when I got my trial done, I liked her even more! She is super cute and pretty with such a pleasant personality to top it off! I connected with her right away and had a great time talking with her. I have gotten my make-up professionally done before since I have been a bridesmaid seven times, but was never 100% pleased with the way they did my make-up, especially when it comes to the eyes part, which I am super picky about. Asian eyes are tricky to do, after all. However, Chiali nailed that baby down, even WAY better than I can ever imagine. After she got done with my make-up, I couldn't believe I was looking at the same person in the mirror. I never felt SO beautiful in my life--and she wasn't even done with the hair part yet. I blinked and blinked again and couldn't believe what an awesome job she did. I felt like a movie star!!! After she did my updo based on some pictures that I had brought in, I was even more amazed! The best part was that she did all this so fast, with her skillfull hands working their magic. The answer was obviously apparent to me then--my wedding hair and make-up artist Chiali shall be. I booked her right away without any hesitation or second thoughts after.

Fast forward to the wedding day, which will come before you know it, ladies! Everyone told me and I kept reminding myself beforehand how important it was to get plenty of beauty sleep the night before the wedding day. Did the plan actually carry out? Not so much. In fact, due to the stress and caffeine intake I had the few days before the big day, I only had two hours of sleep the night before, not to mention the few hours of sleep I had a couple of nights before that, too. To top it off, although my face usually almost never breaks out in acne, I had the great luck to have a few pimples the week before and the week of the wedding that left some blemishes on my face. In the morning of the wedding, I cried when I looked at myself in the mirror. I did not have the glow a bride was supposed to have. In fact, I looked SO tired and had bags under my eyes. I thought I was going to be the ugliest-looking bride ever. All the work prepping for the big day and I was going to look awful. To make it worse, everyone will be noticing since there’s no escaping others’ attention if you are the bride.

However, I seemed to forget that I have The Amazing Chiali on my side. I drove myself to her studio the morning of the wedding, my heart feeling as gray at the skies above. I lost sight for a moment about what really mattered, that I was about to marry the most wonderful man on earth, and all I could think about was how tired I felt and how horrible I was going to look. I got there a few minutes before my appointment time and Chiali was just putting the gorgeous finishing touches on her previous client. She was ready for me right on time at 9:30 a.m. sharp and got to working right away, with her wonderful assistant Priscilla helping her with the beginning part of my hair. Their punctuality and reliability gave me instant relief. The last thing you want on such a stressful day is a vendor who is late. Chiali was so sweet, reassuring me confidently that I would look pretty in the end and not to worry. Chiali has such an incredible memory. I was so surprised when she was referring to some things we had conversed about 8 months earlier during my trial session and that made me feel that I was not just a number. She really cares about each client and really listens to you! She kept the picture I had brought in for the trial and remembered exactly what I wanted done without me reminding her again. Chiali was done on time and by the time she was done, my mood was lifted a million times. I looked in the mirror and saw a glowing bride before me. I almost cried from happiness and relief. She truly transformed me and made me look and feel so beautiful! Just on my way out from her studio, I've already gotten a nice compliment from a passerby!

By the time my wedding rolled around, the sun had come up behind the clouds and brightened the skies. I was also much more happier and even forgot how tired I actually felt. It was truly the HAPPIEST day of my life. I looked around to make sure that others were having a good time too and was delighted to see that it was the case. All the hard work that went into the wedding prep paid off. I got so many compliments that day from my family and friends, as well from other vendors, on my make-up and hair, and still get them today, especially after sharing my wedding pictures with my loved ones. My super picky and honest (sometimes too brutally honest) mom, sister, and aunts also raved about Chiali’s work on me. They said I looked radiant, which I definitely did not look when I woke up in the morning that day. I couldn’t believe that even my husband cried a lot when he saw me walking down the aisle. He told me later that he couldn’t hold back the tears because of how gorgeous he thought I looked. Thank you, Chiali!!!

I can never thank Chiali enough for being there for me on my special day. She is such a remarkable and talented artist and person whom I am truly blessed to have met. My only regret is not booking her assistants for my bridal party, mom, and aunts early enough before they got booked up. I had to book someone else for them and my sister, mom and aunts were not pleased with their work. If I ever have any other formal events in the future that will require me to look extra special, I definitely know who to call. Perhaps I should renew my vows one day and have an excuse to get dolled up by Chiali and have my hubbie look at me the way he did on our wedding day again. Chiali is amazing! She does such a wonderful job for my makeup and hair on my wedding day. I received so many complements on my wedding day! She is really friendly and down to earth, I talked to her like a friend when I was doing my trial. I had two makeup trials before Chiali. Nobody knew how to do my eyes, which are heavy lidded. The second makeup artist suggested I do my own makeup. And I almost agreed, but I was like.. no, someone out there has to know how to do makeup on my eyes.

So from my lighting guy's website (TTMPro), I found Chiali. I checked out her website's before and after pictures (like I always do with other makeup artists), and I was blown away. I showed my friends the before and after pictures, and they were wowed.. I was like.. dude..... she makes aliens look human. Seriously, check those pics out.

I called her, a small voice answered, but you could tell Chiali is nice.

I met with her for a trial, and omg, she put scotch tape to create double eyelid, two layers of lashes, amazing foundation and contouring of the face to show depth.. and ta da.. I felt... pretty. I like my face without makeup, but her makeup made me vavavaVoom.

And there's something about Chiali. She's quiet, calm, cute, and nice. She's kinda funny too actually, she giggles cute. My brother's talking about toilet babies and how some women don't know they're pregnant until it comes out.. totally inappropriate, but Chiali was totally down with it. And just kinda giggles in her sweet quiet way.

But enough about makeup. This girl is a god with updos. Like hands down, no contest, she's a wedding specialist. During my trial, she said.. your hair is too healthy, it won't hold curls. And she showed me how I need more layers for the look I needed. At that point, I was like whatever you say Chiali, I'll do it.

So I got highlights, and more layers.. And the moment of truth, my wedding day. After Chiali did a number on me, my now mother in law asked her son, where I am when I'm right infront of her. She didn't recognize me. She thought I was somebody else. Chiali did such a transformation that my own mother in law of four years can't recognize me.

Is she pricey? You can't put a price on Chiali... you're lucky if you get to book her.

Chiali and her crew did a fantastic job for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. Her work is phenomenal- classic, beautiful, clean, and youthful. I hired Chiali as my hair and makeup artist for my recent wedding (she also did my engagement photo session as well). I love Chiali and her work! She did an amazing job on both occasions and I had so many compliments from everyone! From when I first contacted her for the initial consultation till the wedding day, she was always very responsive and so helpful! This was very important to me because I was dealing with so many vendors that are either good at thier job but not good at communication and had poor service or the other way around. It was very hard to find both qualities in one and most of the times we went for the quality, but ended up being so stressed the whole time of planning. With Chiali I didn't have to compromise. She has 20 years of experience so it's needless to say that she really knows her stuff and she's so sweet and caring, I really felt like I can trust Chiali. Chiali did my wedding day (4/16/2011) makeup and hair, and i have to say she was simply amazing. She was recommended to me by a wedding vendor, and once i visited her website, i was sold. It took me 2 makeup trials with Chiali to find the perfect look for the big day, and it is important to note that the actual results on the wedding day is a lot better than what you see during the makeup trials. I brought my mom with me on the day of the wedding to get her makeup and hair done by Chiali's assistant, and to be honest I was a little bit nervous about bringing her along with me. My mom is the most demanding and picky person, so I was worried that she might be overly critical and the last thing I need on my wedding day is negative comments about my makeup :-p Luckily with Chiali's incredible skills, my mom was really impressed with the results, which was a huge sign of relief :) She was also very happy with her own makeup and hair. During the wedding, everyone of my girlfriends who are getting married asked who did my makeup and hair. Since then two people I know has secured Chiali as their wedding day makeup artist. My wedding day was perfect and Chaili was a huge contributor to that. I highly recommend everyone to book an appointment with Chaili Meng for hair and makeup!

Chiali Meng works MIRACLES!!! She is a SUPER TALENTED hair and makeup artist! She did my wedding hair and makeup, and everyone LOVED it... as did I! Everyone kept saying I looked stunning! Chiali made me look like me, but the BEST ME POSSIBLE! The makeup looked natural, was light, and amazingly she didn't even use airbrush. Because she doesn't have to. Chiali and her assistants did a wonderful job with our hair and makeup at my wedding! We had 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and myself, and she and her crew were able to finish us all on time in 4.5 hours and have us all looking beautiful. Chiali showed up even before the scheduled time (which was already early at 530!), and our wedding was in San Diego so she had to drive 2 hours to get there!

Everyone throughout the day commented on how natural and beautiful everyone's makeup looked. Chiali definitely has a gift! Highly recommend her!

Some artist/stylist are talented, some are experienced. Chiali has a combination of both, plus a very cheerful personality. The makeup and hair style she applied made me look the prettiest ever in my life, yet it looked so natural and effortless. I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror again and again... =)

I have sensitive skin and usually I feel I'm wearing a "mask" after applying makeup, even very light one. But for some reason, my skin felt completely comfortable after Chiali's makeup. I have double eye bags... yes, double! :( Chiali is the only stylist who is able to make both my eye bags disappear, yet look very natural. I also have small eyes =.=""" after Chiali's magic touch, my eyes were really "awake"!!

Chiali doesn't just have wonderful makeup/hairstyling skills, she also has great work ethic and is very professional. Chiali is a True Artist--I was the bride who reluctantly hired a hair-make-up stylist because the wedding planner convinced me that "the pictures last for-ever!" It is true people, if family photos start at 2 and dancing goes til late, then you really do want your make-up to last a long time (like professional grade) because people are taking photos of you left and right. Chiali is a magic-miracle worker--you must look at her before and after (b&a) photos on her website, they are insane. She was also very knowledgeable as to how the make-up would appear in the photos...for example, I considered some pink/orange eye shadow--but she said it would make my eyes look puffy in photos so we nixed the idea. Oh yeah--I am REALLY glad that we made room in the budget for my mom to get her hair/ make-up done as well. My mom looked adorable and it was her big day too as she had friends and relatives coming from all over to see her and support her daughter getting married. Mother of the Bride definitely needs hair and make-up! My matron of honor looked stunning as well.

Chiali did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for my wedding on December 18th. I had a trial run at her studio a few months before the wedding and loved it, and I think my hair and makeup looked even better on the day of the wedding! I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, so Chiali made me feel comfortable with the makeup for the day of and made everything look very elegant and natural. It was raining on the day of the wedding, so Chiali made sure that my hair was extra secure. The hair and makeup looked great and held up well the whole day and night. I went in for a trial and Chiali was extremely patient and helpful. She gave suggestions on her own professional experience on what would look good on my face. To be honest, I was a little scared, but when I saw the results, I was blown away. I could not have believed my eyes! I liked her so much that I ended up booking her for my 2 weddings.

Chiali is an EXTREMELY TALENTED hair/makeup artist. I recently took my engagement pictures and she amazingly created my dream look! My fiance was blown away by her work of which is not easy to do... My fiance is often critical and unhappy with my previous updoes for weddings or formal events but he was really impressed by Chiali's work. She was fun, pleasant, fast but yet detailed and most importantly took the time to create my perfect look just for me. She listened to all my requests, however I trusted her abilities enough to let her create her masterpiece... Is gave me good input on my look for my wedding day. I also hired her for my wedding day. In addition, she communicates promptly, was on time for our appointment, and reasonably accommodating. It's apparent to me that she takes pride and has passion for her art. Chiali was extremely thorough during all the sessions and she spent a descent time with me every time. I had my engagement, bridal trial and wedding day make up & hair done by her.

After the wedding, as I was taking down my hair, my husband was amazed on what Chiali did with the fake hair pieces she put in. That being said, she definitely knows her stuff!

I never got the feeling she was rushing through the process, she did take the time to make sure that she covered all the details, including the ones I pointed out.

The only small problem I had was scheduling the trial with her because she only accepted trials during the weekdays. Other than that everything was simply perfect! Just communicate with her and tell her what you like and she'll do it for you - or even better than you expected :)

Overall, I was extremely happy with Chiali's services. She was referred to me by my wedding planner whom I've known for over 15 years. She did a great job on my hair and my makeup. I loved the double fake eyelashes she put on me. I also loved the body foundation cream that she used around my neck and chest area so that the makeup was even all around. It also helped cover some of my imperfections on my arms. The one beauty area I felt she could improve on is the eyebrow area. I felt my eyebrows were fine the way they were and Chaili made it uneven. In terms of price, she's reasonable.

Thanks for Chiali's magic hands! She did really great job on my big day. She made me really pretty and everyone loves my makeup and hair. Chiali is an extremely talented make-up artist with many years of experience. She is very professional and kind person. She really wants to make sure that each of her brides looks absolutely beautiful and she takes a lot of pride on her work. On the day of my wedding I received many compliments. I wanted a more natural look, but I still wanted to feel very dolled up. I don't know how Chiali was able to do it but she gave me this look and fabulous hair to match my make-up. I am Chiali's biggest fan and I HIGHLY recommend her. She is very punctual, responsive to all requests and absolutely a gifted make-up artist!

One thing I like about makeup on my face is when it looks and feels very natural. Chiali was able to accomplish both of these. I just had my trail run with Chiali and she was able to create a look that best suits me as well as incorporating what I like w/my makeup as well as my hair. Chiali is very professional and experienced. She provided some very useful suggestions as to what fits me and what does not. She is also very friendly and being a shy person as I am, I was able to talk to her with ease. what I like about Chiali's make up is she is able to make me look much younger and sparking without looking too artificial. The make up lasts for the whole day looks natural and effortless! as a prefessional pianist I have tried a couple of make up artists, I even tried a very famous one from New York, none of them makes me look as good as Chiali's make up. Most of them are trying to do either too much that makes me looks too mature ( too old) or too little. Chiali is able to detect my face and bring out the best of it!!

Chaili and her team provided makeup and hair services for my wedding about a week or so ago. I had 5 bridesmaids, 1 junior bridesmaid, and 1 mom. The team arrived earlier than expected, even though the venue was about 2 hours from Chiali's location. The makeup artists got straight to work. The results were AMAZING!!! Chiali is the best!! I had my wedding on August 21st, but people are still complimenting on how great I looked that day. They still say how my make up was so good and the hair was perfect. I just had trial make up and hair done by Chiali since I actually found her here in project wedding and I wanted to see her work on myself to be sure she can really work on my face (I have really small eyes and my eyebrows are hard to draw for other people) before I can book her. I had bad experience before with my sister's make artist at her wedding, so I needed to be sure. ... I am so glad I found her! She did such an amazing job!! My chinky eyes were so much bigger, my eyebrows were nice, my skin was flawless, but felt light. I brought her pictures of what I like and she can do that right away and she would tell you honestly what she would recommend for your hair. If you aren't sure of what you want, she can give you suggestion also. She is easy to talk to, and very nice. She can really make people beautiful!! I felt so beautiful after she was done and when she was taking picture of me. I showed my mom right after and she was looking at me with awe... she was like, "you look like a doll", and her friends were there too and saying how beautiful I looked. All my bridesmaids loved it when I sent them pictures!! At the end of the day, I didn't want to take off my make up; I wanted to keep it!! Review for wedding day....

On the wedding day, Chiali and her assistants were perfect! They were on time, did perfect job on everyone, and even gave me touch up kit since I was afraid my make up will come off (with deposit for renting it). They were fast too! They finished everyone's hair and make up in less than the time she had estimated, which was great!! I had 4 of my bridesmaids and my mother get make & hair, and one bridesmaid with only hair done by Chiali and her assistants.All of them looked so beautiful and it lasted all day. My hair did not come off until the end of the day; it stayed the way it was from the beginning of the day until I took it off myself at the end of the day. All the guests were telling me how beautiful I was and many people are still saying how beautiful I was on the day of the wedding. I also wanted to add that she is very flexible; we were stressed out until the day of the wedding that the groom (my husband) had bad breakout on his face. Fearing that it may show up on the photos, I asked Chiali to help him cover it up for that day. It was ordered last minute, but she took my request and went to help him. And groom's make up didn't cost much at all. She did such a great job; he did not look like he had make up on, but his face looked perfect. He was so happy with her work and so was I !!! She saved both of us! I really love her work as well as a person that she is (so kind and sweet) and I can't thank her enough for what she did for us :)

Chiali really takes the time to listen to what you want, and there is nothing she cannot do! She's also very creative with her work, I loved what she did with my hair! Chiali is TRULY TALENTED at making brides beautiful. She did my hair and makeup for both my American wedding (8/14/10)and Chinese reception (8/20/10), and I am so THRILLED that she did! On both occasions I received a lot of compliments about how stunning I was, I felt beautiful, I was comfortable and my hair and makeup stayed through the evening (even after too many toasts to count and lots and lots of dancing). I've heard that makeup artists are notorious for either arriving late or miscalculating how long it would take to do hair/makeup. Chiali met me at my hotel the morning of my American wedding, she was one time (a little early even), and I together with my 4 bridesmaids and mom were done right on schedule. Don't let how young she looks fool you, she's had 10+ years of professional experience in the field and it shows. Plus Chiali is SOOOO sweet and calming, a real pleasure to have around on such a momentus and oftentimes hectic day. I've already recommended her to a number of engaged gal pals and unfortunately, Chiali was booked for their wedding dates. Obviously, I think Chiali is AMAZING and I would recommend her to any brides to be (but don't delay, she gets booked up pretty early on).

I spent $100 for a preview, and $280 for the actual wedding day. I had no idea what I wanted, Chiali was able to look at my face, and told me what will work for me. And yes, she was right, my hair and make up looked perfect on my wedding day. I had to change three different outfits on the wedding day, and what Chiali did for me worked out perfect for all three dresses.

ChiaLi is wonderful!! I had a total of 3 outfits and she made me look great in my pictures!! Everyone complimented on how beautiful i looked and I have to agree with them!! I have an oily complexion and my face usually look very shiny in pictures, but she made me look like i have flawless skin!! I have very thin and fine hair, but she can make anyone's hair beautiful and full!! I definitely recommend her to anyone!! Actually, after the wedding, some of my friends already asked me about her!

Chiali is the best makeup artist ever. And she did an amazing job on my hair too. It was so unbelievable detailed. I know it will turn out great in pictures. I used her for my engagement photos session and I thought she did a wonderful job. I just wanted her to do the same for my wedding day, but she went above and beyond what i expected. She did all of my 8 bridesmaids beautifully as well as my mother. Her team and her worked diligently to finish all of us in 4 hours. She was flexible in traveling to my house to get everything done. She was helpful in providing suggestions for hair and makeup ideas that complement each individual while accommodating our desires as well. I was pretty picky in choosing a make-up vendor because it's my face, ya know! But after seeing her website, I booked her immediately. I just had my trial/e-pic makeup session with Chiali this past weekend. I went in not knowing what I really wanted. I left it up to her, and I don't regret it. She totally transformed me! She slimmed my face down, concealed my imperfections, made my eyes pop, and gave my hair lots of body. She's also the sweetest person! I know she's gonna make me and my bridal party look so good on the wedding day!

I found Chiali website few months ago. Then I checked out her website and saw one of my coworker's friend was also booked with her. I made an appointment to see her right away, and on our first meeting, I also decided to book with her right away. A week before my wedding, I went for trial make-up, we just went through some hair styling on the magazine, and she created a gorgeous hair style and made my eyes looked much bigger <I have asian eyes>. Even my sister was so happy with her make-up and hair style. My hair and make-up lasted for the whole day even with the Sunny Day. The only thing that I needed to repolish is my lipstick. Chiali was amazing! I was looking for a bridal makeup artist that offers classes because I was having a destination wedding and it was hard to find a decent makeup artist where I was going to get married. I found Chiali's website and was amazed by the Before & After pictures.

I took 5 hour-long one-on-one classes with Chiali. She's very friendly and professional at the same time. I learned so much from her, including basic skills of massaging my face correctly, shaping my brows and of course makeup. The cost of the classes are more than reasonable, and I think it's the best investment I ever made! I received lots of compliment on my wedding day, and no one believed I did my own makeup. However, like most brides I was still hesitant in booking her on the spot. Therefore, I made an appointment for a test trial months before my wedding. Chiali is absolutely wonderful! I met her at a local wedding studio and have retained her as my makeup artist for the most important day of my life, wedding day. She is very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. Her ability to transform people is absolutely beyond words! With her help, our wedding album turned out fantastic. All my friends and families are extremely impressed with photos. With such a positive experience, I’ve decided to sign up makeup lessons at her studio. Although we’ve only gone through the first session, many of my friends have noticed the differences.

Chiali is amazing!!!! I loved her so much that after my trial session, aside from the wedding, I had to book her for my engagement session as well. She really does her best to make you look great and beautiful on your wedding day. I did go over my budget to book her, but just like a previous bride mentioned in a review, IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! You don't want to regret looking your best on your big day. Chiali stays true to all the reviews written about her. She is very skilled with make-up and hairstyles.

i was luck to have Chiali to do my make up and hair on my wedding day. i knew Chiali from my friend's wedding. On that day, my friend was so pretty and confident. And after viewing her wedsite, i decided to hire her too. She was easy to communicate, and also gave me a lot of halpful information. On my wedding day, she was really careful about every details, so i had nothing to worry about my appearance. Her price was very reasonable too. Including me, there were 3 brides i known that had chose her to do their make up and hair. i think it must be a reason that she is popular.

I found Chiali from referral, one of my friend had done makeup from Chiali before and my friend said Chiali did good job, she will make the makeup look really natural on you and beautiful~~
So i made an appointment with her, she really did an awesome job, suggest hair style and some recommendation for my skin type. And i went to her again for my engagement photo makeup, and again, she met my expectation. The engagement pictures came out to be really pretty. All of the hair style she had done to me, are simple and yet elegant which fits my personality and my outfit.
And so i booked her to be my makeup artist for my entire wedding day. And i have to say, Chiali not only met my expectation, but way way beyond my expectation. She followed me the entire day, from hotel to church, then church back to hotel, the reception....i did not even need to remind her, and she would come right to me for touch up, and fix the hair. ON my wedding day, she did a total of 3 hair styles which we discussed three days before the wedding. I was so relax on the wedding day, because i knew Chiali was here, i did not need to worry about my makeup and hair.

Something i have to say is that when you meet Chiali you will like her, she has a great personality and a great taste of fashion. I highly recommend Chiali to every bride to be.

Chiali is an amazing make-up and hair artist. She really cares about what you want and like. I appreciate her for that. She makes you feel comfortable. She makes her schedule fit yours. I remember she had a very tight schedule, and the only time for me to have trial with her was after my evening graduation. I called saying that I would be late. Chiali Meng did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup for my engagement studio pictures and I hired her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. For my wedding day in June 2009, Chiali and her partner worked on me, my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and the groom's sisters. Chiali is very professional and she made me feel so beautiful and the makeup looks very natural. I also rented some hair accessories from her for my wedding day and I also had her do one makeup touch up and hairdo change for the evening reception. The trial started with makeup, the part that I was most nervous about. It only took Chiali one try and she hit it perfectly! My makeup was so natural and yet beautiful and elegant, that I had NO complaints at all. = )
I have oily and sensitive skin but the makeup stayed on and felt very comfortable all day even at the beach did not feel heavy or cakey at all.

For the hair trial, I didn't know what I wanted, but Chiali was willing to try out 2 different hair styles on me (1 down, 1 half up half down). She is so skilled and all looked really good.

I don’t have to stress about my hair and makeup anymore and already book another appointment for another makeup session for my friend's wedding in May 09 = ) very excited.

I have honestly never received so many compliments in my life. I want her to come to my house and do my hair and make up everyday = )

Did you know Chiali used to work at Sophia Wedding and Promise Wedding? She has not just the experiences, and also the perfect touch! I hired her for my wedding at Long Beach, and she did an phenomenal job. Her make-up are very natural, and enhanced my character for the photos and video.
