Chicago Diamond and Jewelry Exchange "Chidexx" provides client-centric diamond consultancy and diamond brokerage services. The Brokerage fee is
7% over wholesale dealer cost minimum $350. Client provides the Chidexx broker with weighted diamond criteria (6Cs). Clients weighted diamond
criteria (6Cs) is developed through client self research and/or discussion with a broker. Chidexx has no equity interest in the diamond candidates:
therefore, the Chidexx broker maintains independence and provides client with unbiased perspective. Once the client has defined the relevant weighted diamond criteria the Chidexx broker secures diamond candidates in the active diamond markets. Candidate diamonds meeting clients weighted diamond criteria are delivered to the Chidexx office for clients physical
viewing. Client views the diamond candidates with the Chidexx broker. Client views a series of diamonds in different light conditions to
determine diamond performance. Chidexx advocates purchasing a diamond based upon performance. Client is welcome to purchase one of the diamond
candidates or instruct the broker to modify the weighted diamond criteria (6Cs). Broker will execute an new search based on the new diamond
criteria.
We advocate purchasing diamonds with GIA certificates. The GIA is rigorous and vigorous in its evaluation of diamonds. The diamond industry
views EGL certificates as open to interpretation.
