Chicago Wedding Music

Michael and his violinist were great, and my guests really enjoyed the pre-ceremony and ceremony music. Unfortunately, when you're the bride you don't really remember much of anything! I'm just glad that everyone else said that the music sounded great. In fact, my brother and his fiance booked Michael for their August wedding!

Their price is great, and nothing beats live string music for a wedding ceremony.

Not only was the music great, they have a very accomodating and friendly personality that it was a pleasure having him. They were both so helpful with picking out the music and telling us about our different options. The music was beautiful and everything turned out perfect!

Chicago Wedding Music is actually a group of DePaul music students. Though they are not professionals yet, Michael Frigo and his team are very sophisticated and great at what they do. Their pricing is also very reasonable.

We had a string duet (cello & violin) play for our ceremony. The musicians were able to play every song we wanted (including some fun ones like All You Need Is Love by the Beatles). We received got many compliments and would definitely recommend them.

Michael Frigo played at a private get together with my family. He was very professional and he is very talented. Everyone enjoyed the music he played and have commented how much they liked the music afterwards. Even though my event was requested short notice, he was very flexible as far as selection of the music as well as the scheduling of the event.

My now husband and I hired Michael and Elizabeth (I might remember her name incorrectly) to play at our wedding in August 2009. We opted for the string duet (cello and violin).

They were absolutely wonderful. The music sounded glorious as our guests were arriving in the chapel; it punctuated the ceremony in a subtle and delicate way, and it closed it very joyfully. Michael had sent me a very large selection of songs to choose from, and all I did was to rate them from must-play to play-if-we-have-time, leaving up to him which songs were going to be played and the order in which they were going to be played. Since I have little experience with weddings in the American tradition, I had no idea what songs would be most appropriate for the various moments of the ceremony - Michael knew these things and was able to suggest the best music to fit the event from beginning to end.

Both musicians looked and sounded extremely professional, and they were very easy to work with. We stayed in contact by email to organize the details of the event, and Michael was extremely responsive and helpful.

I highly, highly recommend Michael and his group for any event of this nature. Your wedding will sound amazing.
