ChileCo Catering

Weddings are ultimately really nice parties, so my husband and my first priority was FOOD--we didn't want the chicken-or-pasta wedding. I searched around online for some fusion cuisine and stumbled across ChileCo--Chef Scotty's point of view and approach to food sounded right up our alley. We really needed some flexibility since my husband and I were living in San Diego & LA--planning was bit difficult, and scheduling a tasting was hard. Right off the bat Scotty was accommodating and invited us to his home and cooked us up a menu. We were impressed with his hospitality, friendliness and not to mention cooking--he was the first and ONLY caterer we considered and hired him on the spot.

Despite his crazy schedule, Scotty always finds time to take care of his couples and holds his staff to the highest standard. He and Dawn of Embellishmint (our florist) worked together to make our reception beautiful--we didn't even hire a wedding planner!

My husband and I continue to attend Scotty's quarterly Socials and highly recommend attending one if you want to get a feel for what he's all about.

Oh and everything is honest and up-front--no need to worry about hidden fees or upcharges. He'll even suggest alcohol shopping list if you want to save some money and buy yourself :) Strongly recommend ChileCo hands down to anyone planning a wedding or any other social event.
