Craig did our wedding on 5/12/12, he did an awesome job! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. He was very easy to work with and anything you asked he was willing to do. A lot of guests said he was the best DJ they have had at a wedding. He made a special mix of songs for the father daughter dance which was great. We were so pleased with his work and would recommend him to anyone. We will actually be seeing him again for another wedding in October and are looking forward to it already!

Craig was the DJ for our wedding on 5/5/12 and he did an absolutely AMAZING job! He is very personable and very easy to work with! Everything was done the way we hoped it would be and the end product had people raving about him and the great job he did! People were on the dance floor for hours on end not wanting to leave due to the wonderful wide variety of song selection he was playing. We attended many other receptions that Craig has been the DJ for and everyone always loved him and his work! Craig is definetly the best DJ we've ever seen and worked with. Our wedding was on April 21st 2012 at the 10th St. Station. Craig did a great job with getting in touch with us and making sure everything was correct for the day of our wedding. My dad and I did a dance for our father daughter dance that included a mix of 4 songs. Craig was very patient with me and changed them a couple times! All of our wedding party came into different songs for the entrences and he was great at getting the exact part that they wanted, He even changed a song for one our groomsmen at the very last moment before he entered! Our goal was for everyone to have a great time and dance all night and Craig made sure to play songs that kept our guests on the dance floor!! I would definalty recommend him to anyone! The only thing I would have changed is we went around to every table to say thank you for coming and that took a little longer than we wanted which in turn set everything back a little. But aside from that the night went great and Craig kept everything flowing and in control!!

We hired Craig after hearing great things from 2 former brides. And we made the right choice! Craig set up way in advance to accommodate our ceremony in the same room as the reception. He kept the music flowing from cocktail hour through to the end of the night, found some traditional ethnic music for us at the last minute, and helped us keep track of reception timing to make sure we had enough time to dance (things fly by!). He has a great announcing voice, and got all of our crazy eastern european and hispanic names pronounced correctly! Highly, highly recommend.

Price - Very resonable pricing. He has a nice a la carte menu that you can add to or just go with his regular Dj service. He's a steal of a deal for his quality of service though. Of all the money I spent for the wedding - Craig the Red Hot Chameleon DJ was the BEST money I spent.

Personality - funny, laid back, accomodating, and all while still being a top notch professional. Even during the final stress weeks of the wedding I always enjoyed working with Craig cause he just made it easy. Both Bride and Groom "clicked" with him from the start.

How guests recieved the DJ - Everyone was dancing, loved the music, and he was well recieved by people of all ages. One of the first things every guest said after our wedding was "Wow that DJ was awesome!". Bride and Groom loovvvvvveeeeeddd him.

Other notes - I have done event planning as part of my previous jobs and pride myself on vetting vendors and getting the best bang for my buck. I spent a lot of time checking into Craig (and other DJ's) before we booked him and he was the one DJ that was always spoken of very highly by both his competitors and his previous clients. Save yourself the time and worry and just book him already! Also, GET THE LIGHTS he has. Made a huge difference in the room we rented and set a nice mood. Plus they were very affordable and had a hugh impact on the look and feel of the reception.

Craig was awesome!!! I would recommend him to others in need of a DJ and would use him again and again. Our wedding was a blast and Craig was so easy going. Jason and I had requested each wedding party couple to walk in to separate songs when introduced at the recreption and he was able to accomodate our request and make it fun. Craig was an excellent choice for DJ. I didn't think our crowd was the type to dance a lot, but I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of people out on the dance floor. Craig played our requests (and honored our do not play requests), and helped with the flow of the reception, which was a HUGE help. He was always ready to let me know what needed to happen next, and gave me plenty of warning. It was a huge help because the time flies by, and without his guidance, it would not have gone nearly as smoothly. His online application for music selection is easy to work with, and he was willing to get the few songs that we wanted that he didn't already have.

I basically gave Craig free reign with the ceremony music, and was very pleased with his selections. He's also a nice guy and easy to talk to, so that helps too!

Craig was an absolutely amazing DJ. We knew from the moment we first talked to him that we were going to love working with him, which we did. We were impressed from the moment we first contacted Craig. He called me within moments of sending him a message on his website and was available to meet with us on extremely short notice. He is very professional - we were really shocked at how great all of his equipment is and were again impressed when he told us his system for keeping his computer virus-free. He has a great online form to fill out about the entire wedding day. Craig doesn't just play music for your wedding reception; he makes sure the entire day goes smoothly (which it did!) When he called us a few days before the wedding for our final phone meeting, he had us listen to a few options of a song we had requested to make sure he bought the exact one we wanted, which showed how much he truly cares about making sure the client is happy. On the wedding day, he was set up nice & early, which was a testament to his professionalism. He reviewed all name pronunciation with us again before we were announced and considering we had some difficult names to say, he did a great job! Overall, in terms of making sure things ran smoothly, Craig was GREAT! He kept the night moving along well - if not for Craig catching my attention from across the room I probably would have completely forgotten to cut the cake! The reception was such a fun party because of the music and atmosphere he set. The catering staff, bartenders & wedding coordinator all mentioned that they've never seen that many guests dancing at once and for such a long time. It was truly a great party! Many of the guests commented on how great our DJ was and how much fun the party was because of the tone he set for the night with the music. He does a great job of picking songs to keep people dancing, both young & old. We could not be more pleased with our DJ selection - thank you Craig!!

I (the Husband) was very worried at first over my wife choice of DJ, but to my error, we, as well as everybody at our wedding, was very pleased with Craig. His assistance in helping us make some song choices as well as compromising with some family (crazy aunts...) last minute changes was wonderful. There was a vast selection of music to choose from and great sound and light display. Craig was a warm, generous person that interacted with us all and made the evening that much more eventful. Craig was absolutely amazing to work with! He is so professional and listens to what you want. We had a lot of requests for the type of music we wanted and he followed them to a tee. He keeps the reception running so smoothely and takes all stress off the bride and the groom during the reception. Josh and I were married at Armstrong Farms on 10-10-10. I had spoken to Craig on the Phone and via email. He was always very quick to respond! A few of our songs were not on his list, he went out and bought them! When we did finally meet in person, i had no concerns at all!! He is very organized and punctual! There is a plan and it is executed properly. He is very easy to work with, before, during and after the event.
Ill say it a million times over the man is very well organized and knows what he is doing! our reception was PERFECT! there were no slips, no mistakes, no silence, everything moved along nicely, we were never rushed or standing around awkwardly. The music quality was great, he equipment (speakers lights mics etc) were all very up to date, worked well, no static or cracking. Craig was very personable with our guests!!! EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE love him, i have had several people ask me for contact info for him or compliment how the reception was!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Craig Lawrence. He truly went above and beyond any of our wedding reception expectations. He was prepared in that he had us fill out a very detailed survey of questions regarding the reception. He then called us the week of the wedding to verbally go over the reception details. During the reception, he was honestly the perfect DJ - he made the guests aware of things that were going on in a professional manner, but he also stayed out of the limelight so as not to take away from the reception. He may as well also add videographer and photographer to his job description because the very next day he had pictures and videos posted on facebook for our friends to enjoy. My husband and I are dancers and had very particular requests concerning our music. We were so pleased at how easy He was to work with, and how accommodating. He knows music and we could be specific with certain styles of music that we wanted. I was able to easily trust him and relax, not worrying about how things would turn out. craig was a wonderful, accomodating dj! He was fun, upbeat, and patient with all the craziness at my wedding. He played a great variety of music and his lighting effects were great! Our wedding reception was held on September 4th 2010 and Craig created the perfect atmosphere! My husband and I had many requests for specific songs and Craig gladly added them to his music library! As a bride, we can get swamped with details and ideas - but having a professional like Craig Lawrence gives such a piece of mind. In preparing for the wedding, it took one quick phone call to work out all of the details because everything else was managed online, and therefore, on our time. And in the planning of a wedding...convenience of time is not always a possibility as other vendors only work with you during normal business hours. What we appreciated the most, however, was that on our wedding day - Craig took care of so many details at the reception. We had an outdoor wedding, and Craig noticed our cake was starting to melt; therefore, he quietly pulled us aside and said - guys we're doing the cake now. He made sure the special dances and songs we requested were taken care of, and the guests were extremely impressed that all of his music was digital because there was never a song requested that he couldn't play. We used Craig (Red Hot Chameleon) as our DJ for our reception and we really got our money's worth. We did our planning long distance and he was so easy and professional to work with. He came highly recommended and my guests loved him! Unfortunately, I had to fire my wedding planner but ended up not even needing one because he did a fantastic job cordinating the events that night. We also used his photo montage service. That was priceless!! My fiance was against the cost at first but after he saw it he was so happy we did it!! We HIGHLY recommend him.

We found Craig at a wedding event at the Atrium. He was very impressive, and I had to inquire about his availability. To our surprise he was booked the weekend before and after us, but open for our wedding date so I booked him right away! It was a great choice, because Craig was great to work with, allowing us to customize our music and make our day so special. He uses a great online system, allowing you to choose your songs and type in the information about your event at your convenience.

The sound and quality of the music was great, and he kept all the events moving. Everyone had a blast and said they never saw so many people dancing at a wedding! We had a situation at our venue (that normally has a house DJ), but allowed us to bring Craig in because we already booked him. Since Craig had never been there before he drove an hour on his weekend to come check out the site!

Craig goes out of his way to make sure his clients are happy, and we really appreciate his hard work. He is a full time DJ, not just a weekend gig- his professionalism was greatly appreciated and we would recommend him to anyone that is looking to have a great time dancing at their event!

I had met Craig several times prior to my wedding as the DJ at approx. 6 weddings that I was fortunate enough to be a part of. When it came time to plan my own wedding I didnt even consider hiring any other DJ. Craig is a professional thru and thru, from the begining of the planning process to the event itself.

Being somewhat of a music snob myself I can say that Craigs equipment is Top-Notch and his knowledge of such is shown by his flawless work during the event. Our wedding day was full of great people and great fun, Craig was a big part of this keeping the party going. All of our guests commented at how great the music was and that the DJ had such a great voice.

From a standpoint of music requests, Craig did a fantastic job at this as well, knowing that its tough to please everyone, he kept all of our 250+ guests of all ages dancing and having a great time. The music that myself and my bride selected and discussed previously with Craig from our intros, to the bridal dance, to the last song were all played and fit in perfectly with the rest of the playlist. The only downside was that the party had to end, but such is life.

I would suggest Red Hot Chameleon for any even in the Butler/Pittsburgh Area. Top notch service across the board!! Thanks alot Craig for making our day so memorable, music is such a big part of the party and you did a fantastic job!!

Talk about a wild and hip DJ!!!!! My husband and I hired Craig for our ceremony music and for our reception music. We had some very unique music requests that lie on the non-traditional side of a wedding and he was quick and excited to help us make those requests truly outstanding. He has a great "excited for your party" personality, easy and fast to contact, was always thrilled to talk with us and discuss our requests, fun and entertaining the whole night through, and definitely got the party started! Awesome job! Everyone was up and dancing for nearly the entire night. We were able to pick the songs we wanted and didn't want through his website. I put off the music until the last possible minute and they were still friendly and willing to work with what we had decided. They discussed some of their more popular requests for weddings and let us decide what we wanted to include. The music choices were varied which was great because our guests were all into something different!

My husband and I came across Craig at a friend's wedding (a year before our engagement) and he stuck out in our minds when the time came to book our DJ. At our friend's wedding my husband's parents told us three times that they were ready to leave - until the next song came on and they wanted to stay and dance. With all generations on the dance floor at this wedding we had no dobuts about Craig's talent and ability. However, we would've never imagined the courteous, friendly and professionalism we enjoyed while woking with him side-by-side.

Craig's attention to detail was much appreciated as he double checked the correct pronunciation of bridal party names, "Do not play lists" and our personal favorite - our photo montage. The timing of the songs was incredible and I still shed a tear each time I pop it in the DVD player.

Craig was by far our favorite vendor to work with and has been highly recommdned to our recently engaged friends. You won't be disappointed!

Craig from Red Hot Chameleon was great. He has a very helpful website that you can log into at any point prior to the wedding to make song requests. His has any/all music you would want from country, classical to top 40. If there are any songs you want that he doesn't have, he's very willing to get whatever music you want for your reception. He really kept the party lively and everyone was dancing the whole time. He really enjoys what he does and I would highly recommend him!

Craig was BY FAR our favorite vendor. The online profile he has on his web site allows you to communicate exactly what you need and is a great planning tool! After meeting with Craig I was 100% sure he would do a great job. He listened to all of our requests as well as make helpful suggestions. Our dance floor was packed all night! Both the older people and the younger people said it was the most fun wedding they've been to and have never seen that many people dance. He was so organized with the whole process, he has his own website that once you book with him you get a login and password for and you can listen to pretty much any song you can think of on his website to help pick your music for your Wedding and Reception. Craig was awesome! He has that professional "radio" voice that you want announcing your wedding and he has the personality to go with it. Craig gives you an online profile where you can select songs for every major event in the reception from his database and if he doesn't have a song he will get it for you. You can make lists of "must play" song and "don't play" songs. He takes his job seriously and is committed to keeping the dance floor full and the guests happy. Easy to work with, personable, polite, and responsible. His experience shows and he did a fantastic job at our wedding reception AND for our outdoor ceremony.

Craig did a great job with our music and announcing all of the difficult names in our family! He worked hard to keep everyone at our reception happy. If you are having other special music (violin, harp, string quartet, etc.) during your dinner, check with him about pricing before finalizing another form of entertainment. Overall, Craig was easy to work with and he was reliable.

Craig from Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment was a good DJ for our wedding, and we do not regret booking him despite a few hiccups along the way (last minute notice that he did not have props for our wedding because we didn't "order them"--we weren't aware of this and thought they came with our package, otherwise we would have considered this before booking. We had to pay extra at the last minute to get props.). Other hiccup was that for the bridal dance, he started out playing a slow song and our guests were confused and didn't realize it was the bridal dance so there was only a few people in line initially which was akward. A few members of our bridal party had to ask him to play the traditional bridal dance song, and once the guests heard that they started lining up. We felt the communication at the end was a little shaky also because during our conversations before the wedding we told him that we weren't sure how long we would need him in which he responded that he would be flexible. Near the end of our reception, he started wrapping up rather than asking us if we would like him to stay longer. Once we made that clear he was willing to stay. Overall, we were pleased with his service though.

Didn't play a lot of the songs that we had requested. I feel like I wasted time gathering songs to be played and our guests requests were taken instead of the songs that the bride and groom had requested! He also forgot to call our parents and flower girls to the dance floor during the bridal dance even though we discussed prior to the wedding day.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT>>>>>>PLAYED MY FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE 10-5 SONGS BEFORE ME AND MY DAD TOOK THE DANCE FLOOR!!! I had requested a Micheal Buble version of a song and he played the same song by Sinatra just a few songs before my dad and I danced. I couldn't believe it.

There was also in incident where he confronted the groom on something a guest said and called me out (the bride) by announcing over the microphone that I had asked that no country music be played. It was something discussed during our consultation, but felt it was unneccessary to bring it up in front of our entire guests. I thought both situations were very inappropriate.

Though he "seemed" professional on the outside, our playlist seemed very disorganized and not well thought out. I thought I remembered at our first visit he said there would be 2 dj's but he was solo the day of the wedding. On a good note, our ceremony went well....the reception fell to pieces a bit, but the guests didn't seem to notice.

Alright, folks, let's be honest. "DJ's" are a dime a dozen. Somebody hooks a mic and two speakers to their laptop, gives themselves a name like DJ Whack-a-doodle and thinks they can do weddings and events. What happens then?
