Chocolate Tulip | Floral Design Studio

We used Helen at The Chocolate Tulip after some friends recommended working with her. The flowers were beautiful and were everything that I wanted for my day I wanted a modern but elegant feel to my wedding with it being more on the minimalistic side as my husband does not like fussy while still be interesting and not looking like we went cheap on our decor. She did a really fabulous job and I will also recommend working with them to the couples I know getting married.

Helen was just fantastic to work with. Our floral décor was absolutely stunning She went above and beyond creating stunning arrangements and accommodating our last minute additions and delivery change. Her work was gorgeous and made our day.

From the first time I entered this store I knew this was it. A designer by trade I just clicked with the atmosphere, style of the store and most importantly Helen our floral designer. Not only did she understand the concept I was trying to achieve, she was able to point out what was not necessary in flowers in places where I was unsure which direction to go (follow family pressure or follow my hearts? desire) and where it would be best to consider the sensitivity of family feelings so as to avoid headaches later. Picking this florist was an easy decision.

Helen helped me keep to my vision, not go over the top, and helped us shape the flower decor so that it suited both me and my fiancee. Speaking of which she also made sure to include my guy in all the decisions (something I must admit I was forgetting....well it was my wedding!) so that he felt included. A point he noted which made him feel like he was a part of things. He ended up in feeling as comfortable as I was in the store and our meetings with Helen were a nice reprieve from the other stressful meetings we had to do.

Even last minute (and I mean LAST MINUTE) decisions of additional pieces she made happen for us. She set up a schedule for us, letting us know what decisions we needed and by when. Checked in with me and let me know where we stood. We honestly could not have been more pleased! I know in talking ahead to friends people are always in surprised by what flowers cost. But l will say when they say don?t cheap out on your flowers there is a reason and the final look is outstanding. It is that finishing touch that makes something ordinary look extraordinary like the perfect purse and shoes with an outfit can take something from ok to FAB and runway worthy.

Our guests commented on the flowers...which to be honest in all the weddings I have gone to that is not something I ever remember anyone doing! There were even some theatrics as to who would take home the centerpieces. Once you make that commitment to go with this florist, they will take the time with you to make it right for you even when you are a bit crazed!
