Chris Howard Imagery

Chris was AMAZING. We heard about Chris through a referral, and when we met with him initially we were thoroughly impressed with his preparedness, professionalism, knowledge about photography, and passion for his craft. A few weeks after our initial meeting we had our engagement photos. Chris successfully captured everything we wanted with them. He was then lightning fast in getting us our proofs and some printed copies of the engagement photos. Finally, the wedding... we could not have asked for a better person to capture the essence of the day. We shot photos in MANY different locations and lights with both natural and formal stances. We were still on our honeymoon when Chris informed us that the first round of edited photos were on his website! Chris' prices were the best around and his quality of service would be nearly impossible to match. We recommend Chris with the highest of confidence!

I can't say enough about Chris Howard and the service he provided. From the very first meeting my wife and I had with Chris Howard Imagery, it was obvious that he truly enjoys being a photographer and wants to do everything possible to make sure his clients have a fantastic experience. His willingness to negotiate price was very fair, and the value we ended up receiving was second to none. Initially, we weren't very interested in having an engagement session, but we are so glad that Chris suggested it. The session was already included in the package price, and Chris suggested it would be a good "trial run" and a way for the three of us to interact prior to the wedding. What a great idea! The photos were amazing, and we ended up using so many of them for Save The Dates, wedding invites, and the slideshow at the wedding.

Prior to the wedding, Chris Howard Imagery contacted us in advance to confirm times, be aware of the morning plans, and talk about how, where and when we wanted to take some of the formals and important pictures the morning of the wedding. They were so on top of it. Things flowed swimmingly all morning long, Chris stuck to the amount of time we wanted to spend on photos after the ceremony, and we entered the reception right on time. Chris was also extremely willing to do whatever it took to get the best shot without interfering at all. Many of our guests commented on how polite and hard working he was.

Last but not least, the wedding pictures he provided us were amazing! The editing and work he put into each photo was flawless, and it truly is amzing how much time he spent to make sure we received a high-quality product. Not only did we receive hundreds of edited photos, but Chris also provided us with a disc of over 2,000 photos from our wedding day. We couldn't be happier with our entire experience with Chris Howard Imagery! The finished product and value speaks for itself.

Chris was a wonderful photographer at both our engagement session and wedding day. He has a wonderful personality, that made working with him a breeze. The quality of his work speaks for itself and the selection of shots he gave us was awesome. We will be using him in the future for all our family portraits.

Chris brings such a warmth to his wedding photography. He listens and works with you to get what you want. His engagement portraits have the same intimate quality. He manages to capture all of the special moments while remaining out of the way. He is intent on getting what the bride and groom want. His photographs show the intimacy of a wedding and the joy of the family and friends. I recommend him to everyone I possibly can. If i had to recommend ANY photographer out there it would be Chris Howard. Chris is not only professional but personal. Planning a weddding can be a bit stressful when you have no idea what you are doing, I was told to go 101 different ways with photographers, however I was so glad I had a friend who highly recommended Chris. My husband and I decided to use Chris to photograph our "BIG DAY" and our engagement pictures. When we shot our engagement pictures back in June of 2010, I was so impressed with Chris's work, not only did I get to see my endearment pictures 2 days after but instead of throwing out all the pictures he wouldn't have used I got to keep all of them which i think is amazing. When our day came around on May 21,2011 Chris was there for everything! Now i thought i had paid Chris just to shoot our wedding but he went above and beyond he came over to my mom's house to get pictures of my bridesmaids and I getting ready, then followed me over to MAC in roseville and then went up to my husbands parents house in Rocklin to photograph the groomsmen, and then after all that madness he then went and shot our wedding in Roseville til 11PM. I got my pictures back last night and I can't even describe to you how i felt, I relived the entire day through our pictures you could tell Chris's photography told the story of my wedding day. To any bride out there that is looking for a photographer Chris Howard Imagery is the place to go. He is not only talented but his work is inspirational!

If you are considering Chris as your wedding photographer, don't hesitate for a second! Book him immediately! We had a great experience with him and are THRILLED with our pictures! People can't stop raving about them.

Chris was very adaptable to our slightly unusual wedding (we didn't really do traditional family portraits, or a garter toss, bouquet toss, or cake cutting). What we got was an absolutely unique collection of pictures taken from beautiful angles, capturing all the colors of the wedding with unaltered lighting, and showing people having a great time! I cannot believe how good even his UNEDITED pictures came out! That's how great he was at capturing everything from the get go.

My husband and I spent about 45 minutes with Chris walking around town taking pictures while everyone else was at dinner and it was a blast! Chris had no problem directing us and stopping us for a few photos whenever he saw a great place (this was much appreciated as we can be pretty awkward about stuff like this). Some examples of his direction are his idea of capturing us "walking down the aisle" of a quickie-mart (so our style!) and a really great Beatle's Abbey Road-esque photo while the sun was setting behind us. And my all time favorite of the night was when we heard a bluegrass band playing on a restaurant patio and we took a few shots of us dancing in the middle of the patio while all the diners watched. Best moment of the whole wedding!

I have NEVER thought of myself as a photogenic person, but so many of the photos Chris took made me feel beautiful--like model status, honestly!

And, one of the very best parts is that Chris gives you every single photo he takes all day long in a beautiful box that's so cool I can't even describe it. I cannot tell you how great this is because then it's up to you to choose which photos you want to blow up and frame in your house or use on your thank you cards or whatever! I could never understand why so many photographers only give you like 200 pictures that they choose or something crazy like that. And finally, you can order a gorgeous, hand-made-in-Italy, bound album of your best photos if you choose to. Again, I love the way Chris has his business set up-- he doesn't include the album as a mandatory part of his package, so you can save money if that's an issue.

All in all, we had a great time, are in love with our photos, and couldn't be much happier!
