If you are looking for a photo-journalism style, Chris and Jenn are perfect. They captured the entire day for us as it happened. Chris and Jenn made all the portrait moments fun and they got us back to the party quickly so we could enjoy time with our guests. Neither my husband or I are super photogenic, but we had so many great photos it was hard to choose favorites.

My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with the work of Chris and Jenn on our recent wedding day. They were punctual, courteous, and professional throughout the entire day’s festivities. We especially appreciated the ways that they interacted with us, our wedding party, and guests. They were flexible and good-humored, allowing us to just act natural while they captured the day’s events with many beautiful and creative shots. They guided us to good locations for the essential wedding shots while also giving close attention to particular picture ideas that we brought to the table. They bring both great attitude and skill to their work. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Chris and Jenn. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! It was pure chance that we met and we are so happy it worked out. They were a joy to work with even with us living in Illinois and them out in California. Our day went super smoothly with complete help from them. They were down to earth and listened to what we wanted, while throwing out some awesome ideas too. Everyone still (3 months later) tells me how beautiful my photos are.

Chris and Jenn were wonderful at our wedding. They were totally willing to work with our schedule on the wedding day and were so flexible. My husband and I always feel kind of silly taking pictures together and they made us feel so comfortable so that we could be ourselves and get some beautiful photos. Our pictures turned out gorgeous and we have gotten so many compliments on them. Their style is beautiful and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. I would absolutely recommend them. They will give you peace of mind during your wedding so you can focus on having the best day of your life!

We are a husband wife photography team that love telling the story of love. We know it's a little scary hiring people to follow you around all day with cameras so we do our best to be comfortable and natural with you and your guests throughout the day. We love to serve you and help you through the wedding planning process but not be obtrusive at all. We are both seasoned photographers, and being recently married, we are excited about telling a unique love story for each of our clients.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture

What do your packages include?

Albums, Digital Files, Flush Mount, High Resolution Images, Matted Prints, Prints, Proof CD of All Images

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Chris grew up in an area where he learned to shoot in many less-than-ideal lighting situations. Wherever you want to get married, indoors or out, we can assure you that fabulous photos will be taken!

Is your media preference film or digital?

We take digital photos that you will receive on a disc just four weeks after the wedding!

How many photographers do you work with?

We shoot as a husband+wife team (two photogs) but can hire a third if necessary.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes!

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes of course! If any emergency were to happen, we have colleague photographers we work with who could step in last minute to help us in a pinch.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

We bring only professional cameras and lighting. We also sometimes bring a prop or two.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes of course!

Do you charge hourly or full day?

We create individual packages based on the clients' needs. Usually we start with a base number of hours and then add hours as needed.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Extra hours are based on custom quotes given to each bride. Each bride's budget is different but we do want to try to work with you and give a range that we're willing to work for and see how it can be creatively worked into your budget :)

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We don't typically take breaks during the day except to eat. We do request that we are served a meal at the same time as the bride+groom so we can eat when they eat. (You probably don't want pics of you stuffing your face!) :) Then when you're up and about, we are too.

Do you charge for travel?

Yes we do charge for travel outside of the Southern California Region.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Four weeks!

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

We post an online gallery (but also send the high resolution images on a disc to the bride+groom).

How long can the client keep the proofs?

Forever!

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes, we do retain the copyright to all images. However, you will receive a reprint release to the images meaning that you can print images and share them with family, on facebook, etc. But we also retain rights to use the images for marketing purposes (our blog, wedding wire, etc).

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes! We mail a disc four weeks after the wedding.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes, in an online gallery where friends/family can purchase prints from us directly.

What kind of albums do you offer?

We offer two types. One is a leather bound album with flush mounted pages. The other is a smaller book with regular photo pages that is a replica of the larger leather album.
