Chris was a wonderful photographer at our wedding this past February! He was available on somewhat short notice, and met with us before the event to talk about what we wanted. He was really good at listening and at making us feel at ease. Then, the day before our wedding, a blizzard hit, causing lots of problems for our out of town guests. But Chris assured us he would be there, and was also flexible when we needed to push the start time back an hour to accommodate the travel problems. At the event itself, he took many fantastic photos. We loved going through them a few weeks after the wedding, and were really happy with the value of his services and quality of his photos. Working with Chris was, in short, great, and we would highly recommend him!

I found Chris Leary through the wedding wire reviews. We originally had a wedding photographer in mind who was a friend of my husbands. But when I found out how expensive he was, I was lost in who to pick so I went to wedding wire and looked up a few reviews. I also went to Chris' wedding website and saw his work and I was completely sold. He was also reasonably priced. I actually think his price is a bargain given how talented he is. So I contacted him and set up a meeting to go meet him. My husband was skeptical since I found him on a website and we didn't know anyone that actually used him but when we met him and saw his work in person, we were sold. Chris was completely personable and he explained all his packages and what he would do. We also got a complimentary engagement session before the wedding so we could get comfortable with him and getting our pictures taken.
On the wedding day, he made us feel completely comfortable. He took all the important pictures, we did our wedding portraits before the wedding ceremony and we took quite a few pictures. Everything was wonderful. We were blown away when we received the pictures. His pictures are beautiful. I was very pleased with the way they came out.
Chris is a complete professional and a great photographer. I was very comfortable with him and he took the most beautiful pictures that I am happy I will have for a very long time.

We first decided to meet with Chris for consultation because we liked the photos we saw in his portfolio and felt his fees were reasonable compared to other photographers in the area. I also liked that the pricing information was very clear and straightforward on his website, and that I didn't have to email or call for pricing. During the consultation, we felt that Chris really listened to us and encouraged us to let him know what kind of photographer we were looking for. Neither my husband nor I like a lot of posing for photos, but at the same time we did need to have some formal posed shots with family and friends, and Chris understood that. Once we decided to book Chris for our wedding, the contract signing was straightforward (and conveniently done on the web), and we were also able to fill out a worksheet (also conveniently on the web) with all the wedding information, which helped all of us to be on the same page with the details. On the actual wedding day, Chris was friendly, professional, and totally unobtrusive. We got our photos a little more than a month after our wedding and are happy with the quality of the photos, and love a lot of the great candid and non-posed shots of us and our guests as well. It really was a great pleasure working with Chris.

Chris is absolutely incredible!!! I knew at our first meeting that he was exactly what a bride wants in a photographer. He was FUN, kind, creative, and somehow without even that much background fully understood me and my family and despite all the drama that arose the week of my wedding he rolled with the punches and was supportive and uplifting in so many ways!!! Although I won't be getting married again any time soon.....if I did I wouldn't hesitate to hire Chris again and again. I would recommend him to my dearest friend and/or family member with full confidence he would capture their special day in the same way he did for us!

Chris Leary and his team are amazing! The whole process was so easy from our first meeting. I had shopped around online for photographers when my good friend showed me her wedding photos Chris Leary had taken the year prior. Her wedding photos were gorgeous and so I decided to give Chris Leary a call. At our meeting Chris explained everything in detail, he was so helpful in assembling a photo package to meet my wedding needs...I never thought I would be able to afford such service, quality and creativity.

Come wedding day, Chris Leary went above and beyond his call of duty. He arrived during a massive downpour and was as calm as I was. I was sure my plans of having an outdoor garden wedding were foiled and we would have to do our best to get photos indoors. Chris would have none of that. He wanted me to have my garden shots no matter what. He coordinated with videographer and took control of the situation. We all went to the outdoor location I had previously chosen and sure enough the skies cleared for the most wonderful shots and my great reveal.

During the ceremony and reception he made sure to capture the perfect moments without disturbing my husband and I. He was patient with my family whom called him over several times for group shots. Chris stayed until the very end of my wedding and was still smiling after a long day.

I truly love all my wedding photos, I couldn't be happier with the work of Chris Leary and his assistant (I wish I remembered his name!). He is artistic, kind and very patient. I love the non-posed and posed portraits of my husband and I. It's been very hard to pick my favorite 80 photos for our wedding album!

On May 17th 2012, I had the pleasure of having Chris Leary Photograph my wedding. Me & my Maid of Honor meet with Chris about 3mths before my wedding & I knew right away I wanted him to photograph my wedding. When we left from meeting him my firiend & I couldnt stop talking about him. The first thing that I like about him was his personalty, his knowledge, and his passion & love for Potography.

On the day of my wedding Chris showed up earlier than he said he would. He was very accommodating in coming with us to the mall were at the last minute I was getting my make up done. He was patient with me &my wedding party. Chris made sure me & my husband night went as smoothly as possible. He captuered all the special moments we asked for as well as adding his creativity. I was one of those guys...

One of those guys who altho attended near 40 weddings (5x as a groomsman), sulked and scoffed at wedding photography with rolled eyes and compact barf bags stashed in my wallet ready to dispose at moments notice like a passenger airbag... That was until it was my turn... And as I learned with my beautiful bride, in-laws, family with extended family, and participating friends near and afar, what is most significant on your wedding day is "the experience." No matter how grand or small the affair, guests are left with the emotional stamp of your union. And who is more important towards the memory of the experience than your wedding photographer: Chris Leary...

In fact, it's almost difficult to see how easy Chris evokes, inspires, and captures all the emotion and moments without intrusion. He has an innate ability to become apart of the wedding, see it thru the eyes of a family member, a dear friend, and allow you to become open, vulnerable to happiness. From the night before to the bridal party preparation, vows to walking the aisle as a couple, first toast to first speech, and first dance to the first day as newly weds, gives clarity to "a picture is worth more than a thousand words," and "words cannot describe..." His awesome photo-journalistic style and sharp attention to what's around him even shows what you may have missed...

We could not have been happier that we chose Chris Leary as our wedding photographer. We were deciding between two photographers...but the moment we met with Chris we knew he was the one we wanted to spend our big day with. Not only was he personable, he really listened to OUR vision for the day, and asked many questions about the kind of look and feel we wanted. He was also incredibly reasonable! No question was too small as the date neared, and he even took the time to meet me at our photo shoot venue to do a walk-through of the space, and visualize our shoot. We hired him with an assistant -- Mr. Smith -- who, by the way, was equally fantastic and friendly. But Chris upped the ante by bringing yet another assistant to ensure we covered all the detail shots I requested. He really went above and beyond, and we felt so well cared for (and photographed) on the day!

Chris is an amazing photographer! After seeing the photos on his website, we immediately made an appointment to see his pictures in person and then we knew that he would be our wedding photographer. His pictures are all so beautiful, artistic and we love how he captures the "unposed" moments through his photojournalistic style.

Chris was a pleasure to work with. He was flexible in scheduling meetings given our hectic work schedules. He also met us at the venue before our wedding to get familiar with the location. He is responsive on email and answered all of our questions with great knowledge and professional insight.

The day of the wedding, Chris arrived early to prepare. He accommodated our requests and traveled with us to take pre-ceremony pictures of us at a nearby neighborhood and park with breathtaking views of NYC. He captured all the highlights of our wedding with pictures that we will forever cherish.

We finally finished our albums and they came out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. We were so glad to have Chris a part of our special day. We will forever remember our wedding day through the pictures captured by Chris and we wouldn't of had it any...

Chris is such a wonderful person. We planned our wedding five hours from the location and booked Chris because we liked his website. We only had the opportunity to meet Chris once before the wedding. At that meeting, my husband and I felt like we made a new friend.

On the day of the wedding Chris was incredibly friendly and personable, but most importantly flexible. Our family and friends were impressed by his professionalism and patience. By the end of the wedding my husband and I felt like we acquired a new member of the wedding party. Chris was easy going but took the time and effort to make sure every moment of our special day was remembered without being obtrusive or pushy. We had a wonderful experience working with Chris, and we are thrilled with his photography. Of all our wedding vendors, he was the easiest and most pleasant to work with. We knew we had made the right choice after we saw the shots from our engagement session in Central Park. Chris didn't boss us around at all, he just captured the two of us interacting and being our normal selves, and the results show that. During the wedding, they were completely unintrusive and were never in anyone's way, but each time I looked for one of them, they were right there, catching the moment. When we saw all our pictures about 6 weeks after the wedding, I was amazed at the tiny private moments they had captured without either of us even noticing they were there. We love all the pictures and I have no idea how we'll choose only 80 to include in our album. We enthusiastically recommend Chris Leary to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer!!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding photographed by Chris Leary. There are a couple factors that influenced our decision to hire him for our wedding. First, his work that we saw on his website was artistic and so beautiful, and we especially loved his use of light. Second, when I spoke to him, he was really knowledgeable, professional, but at the same time very easy to speak to and friendly. As soon as I was done speaking to him, I knew that he was the one. He made me feel so comfortable and reassured that everything will go well.

On the day of the wedding, we were running a bit late for the photography session, but Chris was so nice about it, which portrayed his flexibility. When we met him, he was so pleasant and both my husband and I felt immediately at ease. It was almost as if we had a friend taking our photographs. He had great ideas about where and how to take pictures and he didn’t make us feel rushed. We had a real good time and after the session was over, we were really satisfied with how it went.

Of course, the final proof of his work was when he uploaded the photos on Pictage, sent us the link and the CD, and we developed the photos. I’m not exaggerating when I say that we fell in love with the photos. They were a work of art and we couldn’t be more pleased with them. Everyone who saw the photos couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful they are. There was so much diversity in the scenery, our poses, and the use of light. Every picture was breathtaking.

In conclusion, I would recommend Chris Leary to any bride and groom looking for an excellent photographer. You can be sure that he will capture the most magical day of your life in the very way you want to remember it: perfect.

Chris Leary is a awesome person! I won his services through a contest he was running. Ofcourse when I received the email that I won I thought SCAM... but he lived up to his word and provided me with services of a paying customer. You would never know I was a contest winner winning free services. He provided me with 2 photographers for the day of and excellent service. He worked with me going to two different locations the morning of & was so nice about everything. By 7am the morning of everything was running smoothly & they were the first vendors on site!! His work has left me with memories of a life time!! I was truly blessed to win the contest.. but even more blessed it was Mr. Leary running the contest!! If you decide to use him you will not be going wrong. His pictures are awesome and he will work with you to give you what you want!!

Chris Leary is an amazing wedding photographer! From the minute my husband and I met him, we knew we would have him photograph our wedding ~ we just clicked. Chris is so nice and very professional. He took time to get to know my husband and me - we did an engagement shoot a few months prior, which was great.

Chris was completely unobtrusive on our wedding day, yet got every shot we wanted. We had nearly 900 photos to choose from, and since each one is better than the next, it's so hard to pick our favs (we're still deciding, 5 mos later!). Everyone is in awe of our photos...they're so natural and warm and really tell the story of our wedding day. We couldn't be happier with the results and I highly recommend Chris!

My husband is an artist and works with photographers a lot so I trusted his opinion in choosing Chris. He really captures the beauty of the day in a unique and special way. By far, the best wedding photographers. Often times I hear people complain about their wedding photos or I see photos of other people's weddings that fail to impress, but not so here. We had two pro photographers who were thorough with their formal shots, but really focus on documentary style candids. The shots look like they came out of a magazine. Incredible! They have a video service and 8mm film package too, but we didn't take that. It was a little more than some of the other photographers, but seeing what we got I'd say this is absolutely a value.

As you have probably read in every wedding planning article, the photography is one of the areas that you should never cut corners. You spend months planning the perfect day...down to the smallest detail. When the day finally comes...it goes by in a flash. This is why you need to hire someone that is going to capture all those details that you ever so carefully planned out.

Not only did Chris capture those details that make up the day, he captured the emotion and feelings that go along with your dream wedding. When you work with someone who truly loves what he does for a living, it shows in their work. Chris was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. It was a pleasure working with Chris from pre-wedding to post wedding. He spoke with us prior to the wedding to ensure he knew the shots that we wanted taken, visited the location before the wedding, and captured all of the moments of our wedding, plus sent us incredible shots to review less than a month later and worked with us patiently guiding as we chose our favorite shots for our prints and album, which was a challenge since there were so many incredible pictures to choose from. Chris Leary was great to work with all around. He asked for detailed information prior to the wedding so that he could capture the shots that were most important to us. He met me a few days before the wedding at the venue so that he could get ideas about the lighting, where to shoot, etc. He was very easy to work with on the day of the wedding - great with the kids involved, very respectful and friendly. He got many beautiful and unique shots and we now have a beautiful album.
