Very professional and great quality video. Great choice for our wedding!

Chris Walsh Productions, hands down, produce the best wedding videos that I have ever seen. My husband and I first saw Chris' work at a friend's wedding in 2008. We knew that when we got married, Chris had to film our celebration. Chris was one of the first vendors I called after getting engaged, because I HAD to make sure that he was a part of our day. My family did not understand what the big deal was, not with a videographer, but with me needing Chris to be the videographer. I kept telling them to wait and see. I tried to explain what it was that made his videos so different, so amazing, but they had to experience it for themselves.

So October 8th finally rolled around, with Chris and his staff arriving right when they said they would. They were capturing everything, taking it all in. You could almost see the wheels turning in Chris’ head as to what footage he was going to use for our Same Day Edit – the small, sort of “music video” of our wedding that was played at our reception. We went about our day; the staff was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I never felt as though they were intrusive or overstepping their bounds, but they managed to catch everything – all the emotions, special moments and the really fun parts, too.

One of the best moments of the day for us, was watching the Same Day Edit at our reception. We were able to see each other getting ready, the mass, the reception, our family and friends. It was such an exciting and emotional moment. And the next day (when all the post wedding blues set in) Chris emailed me a copy of the Same Day Edit. We watched it over and over again, laughing and crying and laughing again. (I am pretty sure my family and I are 85% of the views on vimeo)

We recently received our whole video, and it was nothing short of amazing. We felt and looked like movie stars. The video captured everything so beautifully - the emotions and the fun. Needless to say, following the Same Day Edit video – edited to perfection, with music, and played hours later at our reception – and our completed wedding DVD, we are beyond happy with the work Chris and his staff did for us. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Chris Walsh is a wedding investment that you will not regret.

I CANNOT explain in words how impressed I was and am with Chris Walsh, his work, and his team. He is exponentially beyond your typical videographer and is in a different league. Not just speaking of his quality, experience, and dedication but also his creativity surpasses any of my other prospects by lightyears. To this day I still receive feedback of people's awe of the productions he creates. I would hire him to film a motion picture, but am lucky enough to have him shoot my wedding. This will be an easy review to write. Mainly b/c working with Chris was honestly one of the easiest pieces of the wedding planning. There's no way I could even think to give him anything but rave reviews. I had spoken with Chris maybe three times before the wedding. This part of the wedding planning had been left solely to me, as my bride didn't think it was necessary. I needed to ensure I didn't screw it up, and everybody that has seen the video since (which is a lot) has agreed that he did an amazing job. The quality of his work is heads above the others in his range. Honestly, he was one of the few videographers that could hold the camera steady. The final editing of the video was impressive as well. He was able to match multiple camera angles seamlessly to the audio taking place.

Along these lines, my family was really excited for it as well. Chris came up huge capturing EVERYTHING including the shots the photographer had missed. I would totally recommend Chris in a heartbeat without thinking twice. Remember how I said my bride didn't think a videographer was necessary.....well after watching the vid a couple times (without me saying anything) she said "Chris did a great job. I'm really happy you pushed to have this done." And so was I.

Such an outstanding video! So pleased with the all the wonderful moments and expressions he captured on video. Chris is truly an amazing and talented videographer. He has such an easygoing and fun personality that it felt like he was one of our friends!

Chris is a true artist. When you see his videos, you can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work. We love our video and would highly recommend his services. When I was researching videographers, there was just something in his work that makes the videos that much more meaningful and special. When we met with him, it was easy to tell that he was talented and passionate about his work.

Even though the cinematic package was more than what we wanted to spend, I'm happy to report that it was worth every penny. With a three-men crew, they captured poignant moments beautifully. A stationary video camera would not be able to make the adjustments that were necessary through the day.

The carefully edited scenes matched the music beautiful. The quality of the HD video was amazing and he even went beyond the call of duty by volunteering to film us at an event 2 weeks before the wedding because it was important for us. Anyone watching the film will know that it was professionally filmed and edited.

Lastly, you can also be as involved or not involved in process as you wish. I did pick some music to use in the video but left the rest to his discretion and was very pleased with the end result.

In summary, I am extremely pleased to have chosen him to capture our special day.

We used Chris Walsh Productions to document everything on our wedding day. When we first met with Chris I could immediately tell that he was very passionate about his work and it clearly shows. His professionalism and his attention to detailed was never unnoticed.

Chris and his team adapted to a number of obstacles on the day of our wedding day, from wind and rain, to not knowing if we were doing the wedding inside or outside and then dealing with audio issues from the wind... But when it came time to show our same day edit to our guests, it was such a surprise and shock to everyone the quality of work that was produced in such a short period of time.

If you are looking for a videographer for your wedding, look no further! His artistic eye and his ability to tell a story through video is worth his weight in gold!

Since Stephen and I were planning the wedding from out of state, we had to make most of the arrangements over the phone. Prior to Chris, we looked at a lot of different videographers but their work wasn’t on the same caliber. His love/passion for his work was tangible! We knew we had to hire him after our initial phone conversation; he completely put our minds at ease.
Because he made the entire process extremely seamless, I only felt compelled to talk to Chris less than a handful of times during the months leading to the wedding. Considering I was a control freak during the wedding planning, that’s BIG compliment!
On our wedding day, Chris worked non-stop. His team did such a wonderful job capturing all the moments of our special day. When Chris projected the Same Day Edit during the reception, our families were blow away. We were blown away. On our wedding day, he also recorded a reaction video of us viewing the Same Day Edit. It was such a tender moment to be able to relive all those special memories from a different perspective.
Our main wedding video was emotional. I cried at the tender moments and laughed at the hilarious moments (some parental dancing scenes) we missed during the day. We were amazed that from the few phone conversations and emails, he had such a grasp on our personalities. The video was beautifully catered just for us. From the “flashback” scenes down to song choices, it was perfect!
And between the pictures and other wedding mementos, only the video truly allowed us to fully relive our special day. Chris was the best investment we made; if you can hire him, do it.

Chris was amazing as our wedding videographer! He was extremely professional throughout the day as well as during the many conversations we had leading up to our big day. He was very helpful to me and made sure to ask for imporant events we wanted captured on film. We barely noticed Chris all day, he did such an amazing job blending in and still managing to get awesome footage! Chris was very prompt in getting us our wedding DVD's, we received them only 2 months after the wedding! Chris' prices were also very reasonable, he surely did not disappoint in any way! There's no reason to look for anyone else, if you want quality then hands down Chris Walsh is the best in the business. He does everything he can to help make sure your special day is captured. His highlights reel is an amazing added bonus which is far more entertaining than watching your poor attempt at dancing. This is from the groom. My bride was the one who wanted the video. Originally, I thought it was just an additional expense that I really didn't feel like paying for. She convinced me that we were paying all this money for the wedding, and we should pay a little extra money to capture the events of the day. "Think of our grandkids watching it someday," she'd say to me. I'm a softy, so I said fine. We got married about 7 months ago. We watched our wedding video again this past weekend. And, as every other time that we watch the video, I cried again. Why do I fess up to this? Because I want you to understand what an incredible job Chris and his team did on capturing everything from that day. They don't just capture moving images and sounds from the day, they really capture emotion and feelings. I really was, and still am, amazed at the final product. The guys were a pleasure to work with, they captured incredible images and audio, and it was layered together just beautifully. I have seen some wedding movies in the past, and they have all been yawn, ho hum. Not this one. You will love it. Trust me.

I could not be happier with the service, responsiveness and professionalism of Chris Walsh and his team! I had mulled over even having a videographer for many of the reasons most brides second guess the idea. I thought they would be too intrusive, I was worried about quality of the video and even how this would work with my photographer in the sense of them collaborating. All my worries were pushed aside during my first phone conversation with Chris. Because I had taken so long to decide over having a video or not, I was cutting it very close to book a videographer, luckily I got the last available videographer, Matt, but he certainly was not least. He was amazing! On time, professional, and took it upon himself to get all the best shots. He divided his time very well between my husband's preparation area and mine. Chris listened to all my ideas and requests, and consulted me on a few things before completing the final video. Of course the end result was just perfect and exactly how I'd imagined it! I was debating whether or not to have a videographer for my wedding, and at the last minute I decided that I wanted to have something more than pictures to remember the day. Chris was wonderful to work with. My wedding video came out better than I could have imagined. It's not at all cheesy and it's something I'll cherish forever. I would highly recommend hiring a videographer for your wedding day. I have had many friends say they regretted not hiring a professional videographer. And I would highly recommend Chris Walsh Productions as your videographer. We worked with Chris for our August 2010 Newport, RI wedding. Chris was very easy to work with, he knows what he is doing, he responded quickly to any questions we had leading up to the wedding, and you hardly knew he was there on the wedding day which was nice for everyone--I didn't realize how much he did have on tape until I saw the video. We were a little nervous of the price at first but we are very happy with the product. As they say, you get what you pay for. He also creates your own personal website where he puts the highlights of the day so you can send it to family and friends. We have had so many compliments: people saying it is the best wedding video they have every seen, that is looks like a hollywood video. I love watching it over and over myself! If you are looking for a professional video, hire Chris! You will not regret it.

Chris was amazing!!! He was very easy to deal with and extremely responsive if I had a question or concern. On the day of the wedding, he went above and beyond by documenting our entire day from 9am to 6pm and he did it with enthusiasm and professionalism. In addition, I only had to wait three months for the finished product, which was so much better than I could have imagined. Chris was amazing. We received our "highlights" reel from him while he finished up our wedding video. If the video is 1/2 as good as the highlights, we're in for a treat. Chris did a fabulous job. I didn't feel like I was in a TV studio with lights all over the place. I was so scared that a video camera would scare my family & friends, but Chris made everyone feel comfortable and stayed out of their faces, but still captured some amazing shots! The audio quality was great!

Chris Walsh did an excellent job at shooting and editing our wedding video. He was extremely easy to work with and was open to any suggestions that we had for him. During the ceremony and reception, he made everyone feel comfortable. He remained unobtrusive, and was very quick to capture key moments of the day.

The final DVD itself was excellent. Our family and friends were very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the final product. As video production graduate myself, I can easily tell the difference between an edit that was rushed, and an edit job that took time. Luckily, Chris Walsh's work was of the latter, and I was not disappointed one bit.

There were people at my wedding that were engaged and said they wanted Chris to videotape there weddings after they saw my video, and they lived in other states! Chris is very creative and works with the bride and groom to capture everything and included some suprises at the end of the video for us. He takes the time to get to know the bride and groom so the video is very personalized.

We are so grateful to have found Chris Walsh. Our videographer backed out on us the month before our wedding and we were referred to Chris by a mutual friend and how fortunate we feel now! Chris was easy to talk to about how and what we wanted out of our video and made it fun for everyone! I even got to hold the camera and film my friends dancing around me, it was a blast. The video came out amazing! At first both myself and my husband were hesitant to have a videographer because of the additional expense, however I would recommend this service to any bride. Outstanding service from start to finish. He has a wonderful pleasant personality and is very creative all around. He was very energetic and efficient in his work. My wedding was a type that he has not done before and he was extra excited to do a great job!

His pricing is fair considering the quality of work and time needed and there are not hidden extras to worry about. Though, he has a few options you can add on if you want.

I had hired an extra videographer due to the style that I wanted my wedding to shoot and his helper is great as well. Chris was noticeably pleasant to our guests. He stayed a very long time for us. Another plus, is that he has another camera going during the ceremony, by default, to bring out the extra view which he splices in editing which makes your video feel more like a real movie.

He is very speedy with his production. He could have probably had the video done within a week or so if I had given him the music chooses right away. It was hard for me to pick them. That is what took a while. But he didn't push us, since he knew we were on our honeymoon. A friend of mine got married a few weeks earlier than I and when I told her I got my video, she was surprised since she hadn't received her's yet. He called enough times (not too little and not too much) to ensure it followed the feel of the day as I saw it, esp. since he was not familiar with Chinese weddings before.

Only minor thing that I noticed from both the photographer and videographer is that during the ceremony, they didn't pay much attention to the groom. Not a huge deal but from the two, I did not notice a close up say when he first sees me walking down nor say when he says the vows. There are, don't get me wrong, great shots of both of us, but I think most people just presume to focus on the bride.

Tip: For both photographer and videographer, I do highly recommend that you spend some time beforehand making a list of pictures/shots that you know you really want, else you might regret it later. At least, if you forget throughout the rush of the day, your photographer/videographer or whoever else you tell, will help you remember for you. I missed out on a shot that I really wish we had done, normally it would have been done during our formals, but people were missing and we could have done it at reception, but I forgot.

I live in Florida and my wedding was in Connecticut. It was very important to me to have vendors that had great communication through email and ones that came highly recommended. Chris was both of these.

We got our video very quickly and it came out really well. Everyone who's seen it has complemented us on how much better it is than a standard wedding video. We really could not have been happier start to finish with Chris.

Chris did an amazing job with our wedding video. He captured our special day for us. We had it by the time we got back from our honeymoon! At first we weren’t going to get a video but my cousin highly recommend Chris and it was the best money we spent. Our family and friends loved the work he did they all wanted copies! I got married at the Providence Biltmore. I researched EVERY established videographer in and near Providence and every one who did video at the Biltmore. I met with the "top" videographers and left our meetings feeling let down. I was disappointed that the wedding video samples they showed me seemed uninspired and not creative. I started to open my search to other parts of Rhode Island and found Chris Walsh. We clicked right away! He is professional and personable. But even most importantly, his wedding videos were head-and-shoulders better than the other videos that I saw from other videographers! Chris has an eye for art and detail and is a true cinematographer. I asked to see several samples, and they were all fantastic! The wedding videos were clearly a higher caliber than the videos I had seen from other videographers. I hired him on the spot and was THRILLED that he was available to shoot our wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Chris Walsh. On our wedding day, he caught important moments that our two photographers missed. He seemed to be able to anticipate where things were headed and he was always there, capturing them on video! The final product, the wedding video, is AMAZING, better than I could have imagined. He used the music I selected, which was challenging music to work with, and he made our wedding video look like a Hollywood movie. His skill at editing is really unparalleled in Rhode Island. He's definitely THE BEST, and I met with the rest!

My only regret with Chris is that we didn?t hire him to take video at our rehearsal dinner. It would have been nice to have that special evening recorded in time with his artistic flair. I wish all of my other vendors were like Chris; then everything would have been perfect! I cannot recommend Chris Walsh enough! He really is a video genius and true artist!

It was an overall pleasure working with Chris Walsh Productions. It is commonly known that wedding planning and organization can be a very stressful time. This being said, it is always a relief when a part of this intense process goes smoothly. To say that our experience with Chris Walsh went smoothly would be a drastic understatement. Our video is gorgeous and we could not have asked for anything more. I cry everytime I watch it because it highlights how beautiful and special the day was. Chris was excellent and professional. He was so accomodating and nice. We could not have gotten anyone better, espescially for the price he gave us.

Chris was great to work with through my wedding planning process.. very accommodating. They were at my house on time and never got in the way. I loved my wedding video, but my highlight video came out even better. We used a faster-paced song to capture our highlights and Chris used the song perfectly to our video!

Chris was fantastic! He takes pride in his work and it shows. We love the artistic detail in his videos which is one of the reasons why we chose him as our videographer. His pricing was very reasonable and he callaborated well with all of the other vendors(DJ, photographer, etc.) at the wedding. The montage at the end of our video was a perfect visual synopsis of our wedding day that he put to the music of our first dance song. We would greatly recommend Chris to any future brides/grooms looking for a videographer.

The video that Chris put together for us was absolutely beautiful...I still cry every time I watch it! We were so impressed by how quick he edited and got us our video - it was only about a month after our wedding and we were so excited to receive it. I had a hard time finding a videographer that didn't charge a ridiculous rate and I was thrilled when I found Chris. For the price we paid, he traveled down to CT from Rhode Island and covered everything from the preparations at my parent's house beforehand, to the ceremony and reception. He even made an ipod version of the wedding highlights portion of the video for us to share with our friends "on the go". I was extremely impressed with his services and would highly recommend him. My main concern about the wedding video was that it would be cheesy...and Chris made it look everything but that. We worked together on my music preference and he really made it look like a mini-movie! For the price and the final product we feel we got an amazing deal.

I would, and have, recommended Chris Walsh to everyone I know that is getting married. I almost went without a video, until I was referred to Chris. Having Chris vidio my wedding was one of the best decissions we made while planning our wedding. We didn't even want to have a wedding video but when a friend showed us the video that Chris Walsh had done for them we were amazed at how professional and impressive the video looked! I would recamend Chris Walsh productions to anyone who is getting married. We are so happy that we have our wedding saved forever to show our children and our gandchildren!

You get what you pay for. Chris did an excellent job and I highly recommend him. He shot our wedding in May 2010. It seemed pricey at the time, but it is plenty worth it now. Forget about your Uncle Harry shooting your wedding. Half the value is the editing job you get from a pro, and Chris did a good job. Personally I didn't like some of the staged stuff, but my sappy grandma loves it. All in all you should video your wedding with a good pro, and Chris is one of those.

In our talks before this day, his attention to detail was evident. Chris was easy to get in touch with and incrediably responsive. he took into account my own ideas and helped with ways to make the most out of our wedding video. Chris Walsh is wonderful to work with. He really came through for me when we were in need of a videographer. At the last minute (two weeks before), my client decided she wanted her daughter's ceremony video taped.
