There are not enough words to describe Christina's work and character. She was so pleasant and easy going when I had my make-up trial with her. I instantly knew she was going to do my make-up for my wedding.

Christina drove over 2 hours to make me look beautiful. Her air brushing job was amazing. I didn't feel greasy or caked up with makeup. Christina was right, she said her makeup was waterproof and boy did my tears test the makeup ability. I looked glamorous all day.

Christina is not only professional she is very personable and down to earth. The morning of my wedding she was early and wide awake, her own hair and make-up was done, she was dressed beautifully and had a smile from ear to ear. My family automatically loved her just like I did when I first met her for my trial. She is very honest and will ask you all the right questions about your special day to make your make-up fit you and your theme. I let her be creative and I got and am still getting compliments on my make-up for my wedding. Flawless and light. I heard about Christina through a friend of mine who had gotten her makeup done for her wedding. When I saw her wedding pictures I thought to myself, " I must have this makeup artist for my wedding". From our first conversation, Christina was very accommodating in regards to our makeup trial and I felt at easy on the phone with her. When we finally met, it felt like I ran into an old friend. She was kind, energetic, funny, and attentive. The fact that she is amazing at doing makeup was a huge plus! Christina is the best! She is remarkably talented and so sweet! One of my bridesmaids even said that she wants Christina to hang out with us and be our friend. Christina is such a beautiful person and truly a master at doing makeup! She helped my wedding morning go easier and relaxed by being at my house timely and having a wonderful personality. Not only is she a beautiful person inside and out, but she is a fantastic make-up artist that listens to you and will make you look stunning on your special day. I hired Christina after my trial with her and used her for both my bridal shower, welcome party and wedding day. Christina is amazing. I first found her through a Groupon that she offered for a trial makeup application. I used this trial for my engagement photos, 1) to test her makeup application skills and 2) to determine if I liked the quality of the makeup on film. Christina was very flexible with both location and timing to get my makeup done for the trial and she also discussed style and color ideas that I had before she began. Since it was a trial, we were able to do some experimentation with colors and with fake lashes, which was a mega plus. The makeup lasted all day and looked great even after 2+ hours in the heat and sunshine taking photos. The photos also came out great. It was no question that I would hire her to do the makeup for my wedding day. On my wedding, Christina was waiting for me at the hotel where we got ready so we were able to start makeup for myself, mother and my bridal party right away. Everyone looked wonderful, the makeup application lasted through the night, and the photos of everyone were flawless. Throughout the reception I rinsed my face multiple times, was sweaty and tired, but photos at the end of the night look just as lovely as earlier. My best friend is getting married soon, and if she wants an artist for the wedding, I will (and have) recommended Christina, and will likely hire her again for any future event that warrants having professional makeup applied.

Christina Amador is by far the BEST wedding make-up artist in the business. Her bubbly personality will win your heart over ten or more times. What I love about Christina is how precise and elegant her bridal make-up transforms the bride. I recall during my bridal make-up trail with Christina I was super nervous because I wanted my look to remain natural but at the same time elegant. I insisted to PLEASE not make me look over done with make-up and my fear was to end up looking like a clown. Nonetheless, Christina was sensitive but supportive. In order to gain my trust, she walked me through the colors that would be used and long and behold before I knew it I completely trusted her with my look. Simply amazing. Not only does Christina do great work, she is also so sweet and fun to be with. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. If I could give Christina a perfect ten I would! By far my favorite vendor! Christina has been there through the whole wedding process for me. She did make up for my bridal shower, my engagement shoot and my wedding. On my wedding day she arrived early and did makeup for my step mother, maid of honor and myself. That's an age difference of 60, 40 and 30 and everyone loved her work. She really understands what your vision and will work with you until you are happy. Aside from how talented and professional Christina is, she is a beautiful girl inside and out! On the morning of my wedding I was a nervous wreck and from the moment she walked in I was chatting and laughing with her and my bridal party and completely forgot about the nerves! The first time I met Christina was in April 2012. I was looking for a make-up artist to do my make up for my engagement photo shoot, and potentially my wedding. It so happened, Christina had a Groupon special going on and, at the suggestion of one of my BMs, I purchased it. One of the best decisions I made.

Not only was I extremely happy with the make-up, I was very impressed with Christina. She has such a bubbly personality and made me feel at ease. I never really wear make-up and I had a fear of looking "too made up" but Christina worked with me and, after listening to her ideas, I trusted her to make me look great. After seeing my engagement shots and getting to know Christina, I had no hesitation in hiring her for my wedding.

Wedding Day - 11/16/2012 - I had an early start time at 8 am. Christina was not only on time, she arrived at my hotel at 7:30 am and she had a great attitude which helped to get me going and ready for the day. All of my bridesmaids LOVED her and all of their make up looked so beautiful. My make up looked beautiful too! Most importantly, Christina kept on schedule!

I would recommend Christina without reservation. Not only is she an excellent make-up artist, she's a very warmhearted and sweet person! Any bride would be lucky to have her as their make-up artist.

The entire process of finding a make-up artist was incredibly overwhelming to me; I am from Brooklyn, but wanted to find someone based in Long Island to make it easier the day of wedding, as I was getting married in Long Island. After speaking to a few other make-up artists, who did not make me feel comfortable at all, I came across Christina's reviews. Seeing so many 5 star reviews made me curious- can she really be so great? Well, from our first phone call, I knew that she was. She put me at ease, and I looked forward to having a trial with her to see if her makeup skills matched her amazing personality.

The day of my trial, Christina and I discussed colors of the wedding, what colors would work with me, and explained different application styles. She took the time to personalize everything to me, instead of just slapping on whatever she thought would work. When she was done, I was amazed at how beautiful her work was.

The day of my wedding, she showed up bright and early (at 6:30 a.m.!!) with a huge smile on her face. She did makeup for me, my mom, and one of my bridesmaids, and we all looked amazing! The makeup stayed on all day and night, just as perfectly as it was when she finished- all I had to touch up was my lipstick! She even contacted me after the wedding to see how everything went, to make sure that I was happy with everything (not just the makeup, but everything!)

I would recommend Christina in a heartbeat to anyone who needed makeup done in a HEARTBEAT. Not only is her work amazing, but her personality is as well. Christina is the best. She asks you what you have in mind and then helps you make decisions on how dramatic your eye should be, what color lip she thinks would work best, etc. She is super professional and really great at what she does. Christina puts you ease while making the bride and all her maids feel perfectly calm and happy. I made the mistake of getting spray tanned the day before my wedding and Christina was able to make the spray tan unnoticeable and also made me look beautiful. Shortly after my wedding, people were asking me for Christina's contact information for their wedding days. She is dedicated to her clients and goes above and beyond.

She asks thought provoking questions to brides, trying to get their sense of style and the overall feel for their "wedding look." All I can say is if you hire Christina, you will not be disappointed!!

It's hard to put into words how beautiful, amazing and special Christina Amador is and the role she played at my wedding. I did 2 trials with Christina and had her ALL day on my wedding day from 8:30AM-12:00AM. She did my bridesmaids makeup and my mom's makeup as well as mine. I wanted to wear red lipstick and to be picture perfect all day. Although the airbrush stayed on perfect, (even into the next day) I felt like a celebrity having Christina touch me up all through the day. Everyone commented on what a beautiful bridal party I had and how beautiful I looked. I know every bride is told they are beautiful, but the truth is, every bride is not beautiful. I glowed, radiated and emanated joy and happiness on my wedding day. Because of Christina, I looked fantastic in all my pictures. If you are on a tight budget, like we were, you may look at Christina's prices and tell yourself you could just do your own makeup or have a friend do it. You will probably majorly regret that decision. She is worth every penny. In fact, I believe she could easily charge 10x what she charges and strictly do celebs. I'm beyond grateful to have discovered Christina Amador. She has such a fun, cheerful, likable. friendly, genuine attitude and personality. She is also very punctual, a fast communicator and professional. She'll make sure you like how you look, and if you don't, she will change it until you are happy. She'll make you happy and beautiful no matter what. It's clear that she does what she loves and brings that + energy. As a fellow entrepreneur and business person, I am often appalled at how poorly I am treated as a customer. Christina is an amazing makeup artist. She was very accomodating by meeting me at my venue and I was running late and she was ok with coming late. She is very funny which is great when your meeting someone for the first time, asked questions such as what you like and dislike and most importantly took her time. She did the Air Brush Makeup, Bronzer, Eyes, Added Eye Lashes, Cheeks, Lips and it was Gorgeous. By the way Christina also, uses very expensive makeup brands. Once, I saw my face at the end of the night I knew I had selected well.

On, my wedding day I went to bed at three o’clock in the morning. One of the top ten things brides shouldn’t do the night before the wedding. My eyes were so puffy, I looked tired and was cranky. Christina, walked in through the door greeted me like an old friend and made me feel and look beautiful on my day. Christina did my makeup for my wedding last month. I absolutley loved her work!!!! I emailed her constanty asking questions and suggestions before the weddng and she was always quick to respond and very friendly. Like all the vendors I decided to choose, Christina has a very good spirit, great energy, and was excited to work on me. I was comfortable and confident that she will make me look great, especially after a great makeup trial with her. She made me look EXACTLY like I imagined and the makeup stayed perfect on me all day for the entire 12 hour day!!! Christina was absolutely amazing and honestly, I can't imagine my wedding day without her. She handled the chaos of the day and a full hotel room of bridal party members with finesse, even putting a little lip gloss on my niece who was asking her a million questions to make her feel special. Christina is the best! I want her to do airbrush makeup for me everyday. I scheduled two trials with Christina after the first one turned out a little too orange for my skin tone. She assured me that the lighting was probably just off in the room that she had done my first trial in and we quickly scheduled a second one. It came out perfect for that trial and even better for my wedding day. Two of my bridesmaids used her services too for airbrush and all of our makeup lasted the entire day outside in July Long Island heat and our skin looks amazing in all the pictures! I've already recommended her to friends.

Christina is so professional; she arrived on time for both the trail and the wedding day itself. She always answered all my questions in between our first contact and wedding in a timely manner. Christina was an EXCELLENT pick as my wedding makeup artist. I could not have been any happier with her service. I asked her to come meet me at the hotel early since I had 6 bridesmaids and myself who needed to get makeup and hair done. She showed up at 7 in the morning with an upbeat attitude and a huge smile on her face. Since I had just woken up, she truly set the mood for my wedding and made me feel at ease! My 6 bridesmaids all have different skin tones and hair and she (along with Randi Ross as the hair stylist) made them look absolutely beautiful! Their boyfriends were all over them at the wedding! LOL. She even went as far as to do my mom's makeup as an extra and I can not thank her enough for going out of her way to do that! My own makeup came out AMAZING! I never thought I could look that pretty! She is a genuine and beautiful person. I will definitely be using her for my events in the future!

I thought I'd be all ready and prepared around 1pm to get my makeup done, but we weren't anything close to that! We were still decorating our altar and rehearsing until 3pm for a 6pm wedding. So when I got to Christina 2 hours late for makeup she put me at ease. She worked with speed and clarity. She did makeup for my mother and mother in law and our officiant. They all looked beautiful. Everyone at the wedding kept asking me "Who did your makeup ?!" They loved it and most importantly so did I. I will recommend her to every bride I meet.

Christina Amador is an amazing make up artist. I was not too sure what kind of look I wanted for my wedding day but, she gave me a stunning natural look that lasted for hours. She is very professional and kept me at ease. On my wedding day, even though I arrived a little late, Christina was prompt and began working on others at the house while she waited for me. Christina is an absolute pleasure to work with. She has such and upbeat personality and was just as excited about my wedding as was I. I trully felt as though I was just hanging out with a friend.

Christina came to the hotel the morning of my wedding with a smile that rivaled mine that day. She is an absolute joy to work with as well as a talented make up artist. My only request for everyone’s makeup was that each of the girls look beautiful in their own way and she delivered just that and more. We asked her to stay through the photo session and ceremony for touch ups, due to the warm weather and some tears, and she continued to overdeliver. She followed us to a couple places and didn’t skip a beat, touching up everyone’s makeup (not just mine) when the opportunity presented itself without interrupting the photo session. At the ceremony, she was more helpful than the bridal assistant, helping with my dress and giving advice from her many years of wedding experience. At the end of the night, 14 hours after my make up was initially applied and had gone through plenty of non-touched up dances and kisses, I had friends coming up to me saying how fantastic I still looked, no smudges as though I had just applied my makeup :)

Christina is a true treasure and delight. I was so blessed to find her off of Groupon to test her out for my wedding. You would think in a city like New York that the response back for potential make up artist would be tremendous but it was not! Look, there are many that can do a fairly decent job on make-up but the attitude of the service provider is what makes the difference between just a gig and an experience to remember. Christina is GRADE A at her skills but she is also a light - really positive and accommodating. I had her show up at 4:30am at a hotel to handle my bridesmaids and then me. She worked back to back without missing a beat. She smiled the whole time. I cannot endorse her enough. If you want someone who is professional, pleasant, punctual and top at her game - then book her!

My best friend booked Christina last year for her wedding in July 2011 and looked stunning. I met Christina during her makeup trial and knew instantly that I wanted to hire her for my wedding day. Christina is an amazing makeup artist, as well as a kind person. She was also so professional through out the whole process, explaining why she chooses certain makeup and colors, and how it all comes together for the perfect look.

I had a makeup trial prior to my wedding date. She did and amazing job! I just wasn't sure on what look to go for, so I showed her some pictures and together we decided upon the perfect look.

Of course on the day of my wedding I changed my mind about how I wanted my eyes to look. Christina was completely accommodating and I absolutely LOVED my wedding day makeup! My bridal party also looked gorgeous. Our makeup lasted all night, lashes, eyes, everything, ALL night! My girls and I received so many lovely compliments.

Christina did a FABULOUS job doing the makeup for my wedding day! She came to my house early in the morning and did my makeup along with my mother, maid of honor amd brides maids. she wasnt rushing around trying to get everyone done in time ( which I have experienced being in friends wedding with other make up artists ). She is such a sweet and friendly person and her happy spirit is such a joy to be around espcecially on your wedding day! We got so many compliments on our makeup throughout the whole entire day!
