When it comes to picking your wedding photographer, you just don't have a second chance. No matter how amazing the venue, caterer, DJ, party - ANYTHING - the most tangible and lasting memories will be those captured by your photographer.

My wife and I feel overwhelmingly blessed and fortunate that we chose Christine as our photographer for our wedding at BR Cohn in Sonoma, CA. We were first impressed by her website, as it not only demonstrated her vast range and ability to capture the perfect moment in any situation, but it reflected exactly the kind of style we wanted: natural, authentic, in-the-moment, and memorable.

Christine made a great impression from the very first point of contact: responsive, friendly, and open to finding out what worked best for us. We also appreciated the fact that she made an effort to connect with us on a personal level, as it really made a difference to us that she wanted to get to know us as a couple, rather than just "another client".

When it came to the day of the wedding, you could not hope for anything more. She knew the day's itinerary like the back of her hand (and admittedly, better than I did and many other of our vendors!), and was able to comfortably make her way to every crucial moment, position herself in the best spots, and capture every key memory that you knew (and many you didn't know!) you wanted to be captured. I also love the candid moments she was able to photograph, the kind of shots that separated our wedding from all the others, the kind that made our special day feel truly unique and one-of-a-kind.

When we received our proofs, the results took our breath away. Christine went beyond taking the standard, cookie-cutter poses that litter wedding blogs and magazines alike. I don't know how she does it, but she had the uncanny ability to capture not just our best side, but our most genuine and heart felt moments and emotions. I can't imagine many people can do what she does, so don't miss out!

We were so lucky to find Christine through mutual friends who had her take their engagement photos. Initially on her website, I loved how well she captured the moments of the weddings she had in her gallery. Ten minutes into our first meeting I knew she was our photographer. I just felt like she had such a kind and warm spirit. Then during all the planning for the wedding she was professional and patient. She was super responsive and easy to get ahold of. On our wedding day she was enthusiastic, adventurous and passionate about her work. She never stressed, she wasn't obtrusive and always had a smile. Her photos of our wedding were beautiful, fun and magical. She is talented beyond words. Her photos tell such a great story about my amazing husband, beautiful children and our crazy friends and family. Christine was excellent at capturing emotion and making us feel comfortable infront of the camera.

One of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning was to have Christine Chang as our wedding photographer. Our planner gave us many options but Christine was the best of the rest! And the proof are in the wedding photos which have so realistically chronicled the love and joy for our big day. We are so proud of the photos, they have adorned our cards, our walls, are in picture frames, and have been joyously shared with family and friends. Christine Chang is fun, creative, reliable, friendly, inspirational and professional at the same time. Now that is a great combination in a wedding photographer! Christine is absolutely amazing. I feel so honored to have had her as my wedding photographer. Her work speaks volumes. She has the ability to capture so much emotion in her work. When I look at my wedding photos, I am able to relive the moments as if it were yesterday. She makes you feel so incredibly comfortable that it feels like you're hanging out with a old friend. Christine's work speaks for itself. You don't need to read this review, just look at her work and you will be sold. I just want to add a few things you can't tell by looking at her photography. She is wonderful! Not only is she brilliant with her understanding of light and space and composition and all that fanciness, she is so sweet, and stays so calm under pressure. Our cocktail hour did not provide the easiest of wedding party photo opportunities - and there were 20 people in the wedding party alone, not including family and close friends - and she and her second shooter, Carla Choy, directed everyone calmly and gracefully; all while trying to get guests out of the background or foreground of the shots. And she sent me A THOUSAND edited shots. Actually a little over a thousand. Within a month. How crazy is that?! She must have taken at least 5 thousand photos and then locked herself away for weeks to get through them. I am so enamored with her work, that I pretty much want to be her new best friend. You will love her, and you will LOVE what she captures for you.

I found Christine on Yelp. I knew she was the right photographer for us when I visited her website and blog. She has an incredible eye for capturing nuances in expressions, just marvelous.
My husband, I think like most men, was reluctant to take engagement pictures in the first place. Christine made it painless for him and I was very appreciative. Christine's amazing photographs of us won him over instantly. He was so happy about how beautiful they turned out that he stored all the engagement pictures on his iphone and showed them to everyone (and I mean everyone). We were very lucky to have Christine with us for our wedding in the Cook Islands last month. We could not entrust the task to anyone else but Christine. Everyone loved Christine, especially my mother, who just adored her. We are delighted that she will be photographing for us again at our Los Angeles reception later this month.

Christine was the photographer for us. We wanted someone fun and she was perfect. We had a Disney theme wedding and Christine is definitely a Disney fan. She shot our engagement photos at Disneyland and shot our wedding pictures at Downtown Disney. We wanted a lot of candids (with some nice formal pictures for our parents). Christine Chang is ridiculously talented. She shot our engagement pictures and I am obsessed with the results. She's fun, steps outside the box and makes you feel instantly comfortable and connected to her. When I say that she is one of my favorite photographers, I really mean it. Just look at her work and you will understand. It will stop you in your tracks. Make you crush on her clients and make you wish you were a part of the moment she has captured. Pure talent.

OK, we knew that Christine was known for her wedding photography, but we were so impressed with her portfolio that we asked her to shoot our son's Bar Mitzvah.

Wow! She was fantastic to work with, and her pictures (delivered as promised within two weeks) were spectacular. I edit an upscale travel magazine and I know the difference between a "standard" event photographer and a truly gifted artist. Christine Chang is definitely the latter!

We would highly recommend Christine for any special event or occasion. If you can, try to get Sean to join her. They were highly organized and fully prepared, kept an excellent attitude from early afternoon until the final guest left after midnight, and they were fun too!

Christine was so amazing! The art and quality of her work is exceptional. She is great to work with and is very reliable and professional. Christine has an amazing eye and will capture all of the moments that you think are just between you and your new husband. She has the ability to give you any angle and every angle you want... high fashion, portrait, candid, conceptual. I can't wait for more events in my life for her to capture!!

I was the bridesmaid for one of my girlfriends who asked me to find her an "awesome affordable photographer" for her wedding. Awesome and affordable usually don't go together, especially in the high-priced world of wedding photography. Task in hand, I did TONS of research but unfortunately couldn't find a professional photographer with high-quality results who wouldn't take up over 50% of the wedding budget.

Then I found Christine.

At first, I was honestly a little skeptical when I found out her prices, especially compared to other photographers I researched who charged thousands more (they're freaking pictures people!). My girlfriend read on TheKnot that it's smart to hire a talented photographer building his/her portfolio before their rates shoot up and this appears to be the case with Christine. What she charges is amazingly affordable for the quality of pictures she provides. I was impressed with her portfolio and happy that my girl liked her when they met. Christine was very attentive to her needs (I love her but she can be a little high-maintanence sometimes), refreshingly honest, creative, fun, friendly and flexible with her service.

After looking at the pictures from the wedding I feel that Christine captured my friend and her new husband completely naturally. If and when I take the plunge myself someday I'll definitely be hiring Christine and hopefully her rates will still be as affordable. :P

Quality of Service: Great! The photos are excellent and beautiful. I could not ask for better photos.

Responsiveness: Excellent! Returned emails and calls promptly, always within the day, if not within the hour or within minutes.

Professionalism: Perfect! Met every requirement in our contract. Arrived on time. Good communication prior to the wedding. She is very personable and easy to get along with and easy to work with. Was very unobtrusive during the wedding. I didn't even know where she was most of the time, until I got the pictures back and saw that she was absolutely everywhere!

Value for cost: Extraordinary!! Christine was an unparalleled value, and her services were the best purchase I made for my wedding. Her services are worth 10 times what she charges.

Flexibility: Great! I needed a change in the start and end times. I only gave Christine short notice and it was not in our contract, but she agreed and didn't act put out at all. Also, during the wedding there were many people taking pictures on their personal digital cameras and Christine just smiled the whole time. She even offered to take some pics on the guest's cameras.

Bottom Line: Highly recommended.
