We chose Chris as our photographer because of his humor, laid back personality, experience and ability to capture beautiful, classic photos that will last the test of time. He exhibited all that and more on our wedding day, keeping a calm demeanor while making sure to capture every single moment. For wedding newbies, Chris was a Godsend by not only helping us plan our day, but also by guiding us throughout the festivities and allowing us to just enjoy. Every time there was a moment that needed capturing, Chris appeared out of no where to get the shot. I would highly recommend Chris to any bride who wants a fun, professional and skilled photographer to capture the most important day of her life.

We found Chris by doing an online search of photographers in the Canton area. After seeing that he shot a wedding at was held at the exact same church and reception site as ours, we called him to set up a meeting. We were immediately pleased with him, as we live in Columbus and Chris made time to meet with us while he was in Columbus for the evening, rather than us having to make the trip to Canton. Upon meeting with him my fiancée and I knew we had found our photographer. We loved his personality and were very impressed with the books he showed us of past work. He was vey informative of what the process would be between our meeting date and the wedding and the difference in packages. His website is very user-friendly, and I love that you get to detail what your "must have" shots are. I looked at other photographers in the Canton area- many were very expensive and were not available to you for the full day unless you paid extra. Chris has packages for all budgets, and I think his photography skills are far better than any others that I saw.

The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and we have Chris to thank. He took unbelievable photos. We loved that he used his time so efficiently, and we were even happier about how quickly things went at church after the ceremony. He helped us keep on-track with where we needed to be and when. He is very discreet about taking photos, which is GREAT, because on your big day the last thing you want is to feel like the photographer is hovering over you. We thought this was a great quality for a photographer to have.

Overall, we are thrilled with Chris. He is extremely professional, yet makes standing around for pictures so much fun! In the words of my husband, he is "bad a**". Our wedding book turned out beautifully and we highly recommend Chris!

Christopher Bues Photography was worth every cent. He had done a shoot for my wife's cousin, and we were stunned at how beautiful the photos were. I didn't care what it cost, I KNEW he would be my photographer at my wedding. As soon as we had a date we locked him down. He did our engagement and wedding shoots, and we have priceless photos that were worth every penny. Christopher is very hip to all the new technology, and provided me super high resolution photos of every picture taken. He was fast, professional, and always on time. When my wife was getting stressed with the wedding, we didn't need any additional head aches, and Christopher was great to have because he was always exactly what we needed, when we needed it! We also hired a videographer, and Christopher worked very well with him and was kind to my entire family. I couldn't thank him enough. FANTASTIC!

Chris was extremely professional and fun to work with! he was very helpful and responsive to all questions before the wedding day! He was on time- organized and made us feel very at ease during our wedding. Most importantly the pictures turned out amazing and really captured the essence of our whole day- would definitely recommend Chris for any important event you have coming up:)!

There are not enough nice things that I can say about Chris Bues. I searched high and low for a photographer for our wedding, living in Mississippi attending school and planning a wedding in North East Ohio was not an easy task. However, Chris made the photographer part so easy that I wish everything had gone as smoothly! He was able to meet with us while I was on break, called and checked in on us. Wanted to make sure I passed my masters defense, and that everything else was running smoothly. We could not have asked for a better photographer!!!! When we couldn't see him, we knew that he was there somewhere, but being the fantastic photographer he is he stayed out of the way but still was there for everything! Again I can't put into words how excited I was to get my pictures back, and the quality of his work! To anyone that needs a photographer you will not be dissapointed with Chris, I plan on working with him in the future when we have children, and any other special occasion that might come up.

My husbnad and I just got married in December. When we were looking for a photographer we really didn't have a clue as to what types of packages would be provided. What we loved about Chris Bues is that he had a variety of packages (we choose the all day package) but a big factor was his prints were so cost friendly and that our family/friends could access and purchase them online. He was very helpful and would always answer questions I had in a timely mannor. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. I'm confident in saying that he captured every moment. He was so friendly and professional. My family and friends were amazed at how he was snapping pictures through out the entire day. I have and will continue to recommend him to my family and friends. For all the build up and planning and excitement that goes into a wedding, the day goes by so fast that at times it seems like a whirlwind. I chose Christopher Bues Photography to capture the moments of my big day and after viewing all the photos he took that day I can tell you I most definately made the perfect choice. Not only was he professional, friendly, and flexible (one of the things I loved from the start was that he does not limit his time to a chunk of 8 or 10 hours, but he provides a full day of coverage for the package price) but looking at all of my picture almost brought me to tears. He beautifully captured all the emotions and excitement of the day and left us with souvenirs of our wedding that will last a lifetime.

We used Chris not only for our wedding, but our engagement photos as well. Chris was a pleasure to deal with all the way up to, through and after our wedding day. He not only took great photos to capture the day, but also was a great help at the reception working with the DJ to keep things flowing smoothly. The photos came out great and we're extremely pleased with them. The online gallery made it very convenient for friends and family to view and order prints. We really feel we got more than we paid for. I have highly recommended Chris to anyone I know getting married.

I guess we should have gone over more of what we wanted before the wedding. I thought we were on the same page but we obviously weren't. You get what you pay for. Had to ask for the pictures of me walking down the aisle, as they weren't even included in what was given to us. No pictures of my guests except on dance floor. What about my elderly aunts uncles and grandparents that didn't get up to dance? No pictures of my tables, the center pieces that I made or any of the decor. No pictures of us greeting guests . And not even an apology!

Hiring Christopher Bues as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. In addition to loving his work, a beautiful mix of contemporary, candid shots with the traditional ones we knew we just had to had, Chris was such an experienced professional. He took the time to understand the style of images we wanted, where we wanted to get some important pictures and he even helped walk us through the timing of everything before and during the day. We love how Chris was really able to "read us" throughout the day and determine by our expressions some of the most important moments and guests, which he in turn captured in pictures (for example, pictures of us hugging family and friends we haven't seen in forever). Also, he "read" us so well we were able to just relax and enjoy the day without worrying that we were getting the pictures we wanted. We loved that every once in a while he would give us a sneak peek of the images on his camera, just to show us how everything was coming together. We also appreciated how he methodically flew through the traditional posed pictures, but also made it fun and enjoyable for everyone. Looking at the images, it seems like he was everywhere, but I never remember really seeing Chris or feeling like he was intrusive in anyway. We just loved working with Chris and would highly recommend his services to anyone in the area. We never feel like we can say enough good things or thank him enough for the wonderful keepsakes and memories he captured of our wedding day.

I would highly recommend Chris Bues Photography. Chris did a great job with our wedding. He was flexible and will to accomodate us in any way possible. I found myself forgetting that he was there at times, which was exactly what we wanted. His prices were very fair compared to other photographers, and I love having the disc of all our images. I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so. He was great!

Christopher Bues Photography was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are not picture people however they made the process so easy. We were able to adjust our package to fit our needs and they matched us with the perfect photographer. We were able to pick the schedule for the photographer and were able to adjust all of our needs. It was amazing and our pictures turned out great.

We were very happy with our wedding pictures! The coloring, lighting, and scenery all turned out beautiful. Chris was fantastic. He was always quick to get back to me when we were in the planning process, and he was extremely professional and discreet during the course of the wedding and reception. He was quick with the posed shots (which we requested), and did a great job capturing the rest of the day without getting in the way. Chris emailed us a preview image while we were on our honeymoon, and the rest of the pictures were beautiful and quick to follow. We were extremely pleased!

Chris was very willing to show me portfolios from past weddings which helped me decide where to take pictures for mine. He is very flexible and responds quickly to emails and phone calls. He is very easy to work with!

Christopher Bues Photography provided amazing service and phenomenal photographs for us on our wedding day. Chris did both engagement photos and wedding photos for us. His work was spectacular. He is the consummate professional and incredibly creative as well. For example, when he did our engagement session, it was raining, so he had us incorporate our umbrella into a few shots, and these are some of our favorite photos. Chris did such a good job on our wedding day putting everyone at ease. He blended into the background when needed and was the perfect director when that was called for. He suggested taking pictures on the boardwalk in Cuyahoga Falls, which we had not considered, and these photos are lovely and amazing. I also really appreciated that Chris Bues Photography gave us the rights to all of our photos so we could share them with friends on facebook and print however we wished, although we have chosen to use his fabulous service and been extremely happy with the results. Chris documented our wedding day in such a way that the memories will be cherished forever, and we sincerely appreciate all the wonderful work that he did for us.

photographer is pretty good only messed up once but i would use him for my next party

I have worked with Chris at numerous weddings and must say he is great to work with. Not only are his photos amazing but like all great photographers in this business, he understands what is really important. That is preserving memories. Highly Recommended!
