Christos Union Depot Place

We loved everything about the planning process and our actually wedding day with Christos Union Depot's staff. The venue itself is gorgeous. The staff is phenominal. So many people went above and beyond for us which made our day just perfect! The event coordinator, Georgia, is a gem! She was not only fun to work with during the planning process but was with me at all the essential moments the day of our wedding. I listed just a few of the many examples. She was there when I saw my new married name printed for the first time and saved the name card for me. When we were about to cut the cake, Georgia ran to get my mom so she wouldn't miss it. When my maid of honor was having difficulty bustling my dress, Georgia was there to help her. All these things were not expected but made everything run so much smoother. Our day was just perfect and we didn't even learn that there had been a fire the night before until we returned from our honeymoon. Looking back, I wasn't able to see any signs of chaos from the night before. They got the building rewired and power turned on and everything looking amazing by the time we got there! I know this required alot of people working together and Georgia being up for over 24 hours. I couldn't of asked for a better venue for my ceremony and reception or a more hard working, professional staff.

My husband and I couldn't have picked a more beautiful and unique location/experience for our wedding ceremony and reception.

The SPACE inside is so one of a kind, with the marble columns and incredible high ceilings (the lit drapings provided MAJOR glitz/class-factor, too) set it apart from the hum-drum country clubs so many people choose.

The FOOD is delicious. I'm seriously bummed I didn't have more time to graze all the tasty appetizers and beautiful dessert buffet all night long. Everyone commented on how great the food was (who wants more grilled chicken, steamed veggies, and buns?)

GEORGIA is so helpful and knowledgeable. Honestly, it is a HUGE benefit to use a vendor that provides not only a wedding coordinator, but a REALLY talented one. Such a deal. She helped us navigate through awkward family dynamics so well (Who sits here? Who walks who where?), and made sure we were confident and informed about each decision we needed to make. PLUS, she's really fun and always timely in answering our questions!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. There were no hiccups, no hidden fees, and everything went off without a hitch (thanks to Georgia and her amazing staff). I am very excited to see the remodel, but also will always have very special and cherished memories of Christos Union Depot as it was during our wedding. This place will only get better and better with their new renovation and Georgia and her staff doing their usual amazing jobs.

WOW! What an absolutely wonderful place Christos is! The food is absolutely the best wedding food ever (and I am not lying)! I have had so many of my guests tell me that the food was the best wedding food they've had! The Venue Coordinator (Georgia) is so easy to work with and so organized. What a smooth process and I think it was as relaxed as a bride could be for her wedding! The venue is so beautiful and magical feeling. We truly had the best experience with this venue. We received so many compliments on the food and venue -- we are so excited for our photos to come back!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Christos Union Train Depot and couldnt have been happier!! Not only was the facility unbelievably beautiful but the staff was so professional and friendly! Georgia was exceptionally helpful with the planning and setting up and facilitating from the day we picked Christos to our goodbyes at the end of our wedding night! We couldnt have pulled it off without her!! We received SO many compliments on the venue, the food, and the staff!! Thank you Christos and Georgia for helping to make our special day far exceed our dreams!

If I could get married multiple times I would have my reception and/or ceremony at Christos every single time. You spend a minimum of $7,000 there, and every single cost is upfront and any single thing they have there can be used toward that minimum. Their food is AMAZING, and you get a smorgasboard of options - you get to have an afternoon/evening to taste-test your top 3 choices in appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The building is an old train depot, and they have it decorated beautifully. It's spacious and regal. The dance floor is huge, they include a stage free of charge if one is needed. They have a staff that waits on you hand-and-foot. The coordinator there, Georgia, is an amazing woman. She helps you with all of the many options, and is extremely professional and personable. I can't rave enough about this place. If you are interested, stop by for lunch or dinner on a week night and check out the place. If you let someone know you're interested in using their place they will give you a short and straight-forward brochure. This is a place that tells you everything upfront - no hidden costs on anything - and does not try to sell you on 10 million things. The place sells itself to you!! It's so wonderful. I recommend it without any reservation. Our guests were flabbergasted at how wonderful the reception was.

Georgia is the best, EVER! so responsive, so helpful, so honest, so friendly.. this review couldn't be long enough. The building was breathtaking, everyone was extremely helpful. The team was so gracious to help us with some "extra-item" setup. Amazing.

This was our dream location! Georgia, the event coordinator at Christos, was amazing and so helpful. For awhile I was e-mailing her multiple times of day and she always got back to me immediately and was willing to answer all of my questions and was very flexible, but extremely professional. The venue itself is stunning - huge columns, very high ceilings, and incredible lighting. I received so many comments throughout the evening and afterwards about how helpful and friendly the staff was - and I can attest to that as well. And I can't even begin to describe how amazing their food is. Christos holds a high reputation for having delicious Greek food that will appeal to all your guests. The entire evening was magical. Every one of our guests were completely blown away and most had never been to a wedding as nice as ours. And it was very affordable, especially for what we got!! I think we will come back to Christos all the time just to remember the evening - and to enjoy their food!

If you are trying to find a location for your wedding, Christo's Union Depot is the place to have it! We have received numerous compliments and still are about what a great wedding it was! The venue was beautiful; the food is to die for; and Georgia and her staff are second to none! Everything ran with such precision that we didn't even have to think or worry about a thing on the day of our wedding. We want to thank Georgia and her staff for such a great event and beautiful memories that we will never forget.

Great venue run by an extremely detail oriented and responsible events coordinator. Having my reception here was the best decision I made in the whole wedding planning process.

The food is to die for - people are still telling me 2 years later that it was the best wedding dinner they ever had! Only 3 stars for flexibility because they are booked way in advance!

If you want a worry free reception go see Georgia at Christos. Christos is the place to be for breathtaking photos, mouth watering food and a service staff that knows exactly what you want. If i shot 40 weddings a year at Christos, i'd always have a smile. Walk in to Christos, meet Georgia for lunch and I guarantee you will be impressed with her 5 star approach to weddings. I've never had a Christos client that was not 100% happy with the experience !!! Georgia knows weddings !! My only regret is that she hasn't wrote a book on " how to have a stress free wedding day " that all brides can read. Go see for yourself, book a Christos wedding.

Christo's Union Depot is one of the most classy, beautiful, and elegant wedding venues in St. Paul. If you are looking for the greatest food and want your wedding to be one written in the books as one of the most memorable experiences for your guests then you've found your place. It is a beautiful setting for both a ceremony and reception. Everything about this venue is amazing; from the food, to the service, to the ambiance, and what a staff! Georgia, the coordinator, is the most organized person we have ever met; she will make you laugh and feel at complete ease on your big day! She will be sure your wedding day runs smoothly and on schedule. The ambiance of Christo's cannot be topped; it is timeless and stunning and makes for such a romantic venue for a wedding.

Beautiful location with professional staff that are a pleasure to work with! While working in St. Paul for years this location was very highly recommended for business, social and wedding events.
