Cicada

I love Cicada! Their dresses are beautiful crafted and unique. I ended up buying a sample dress from them several weeks before my wedding. I think Cicada is a good choice for any potential last minute shoppers out there, as you can buy samples off the rack (which are provided in several size options- small, med, large, etc.) They also have a wide selection of shorter dresses - I really wanted a knee-length dress, and they had many options. Their customer service was great, and their prices are reasonable - I was expecting to pay the boutique rate but I felt like my dress was priced very fairly. I received many compliments on my dress, and I felt great in it!

The designs at Cicada are beautiful! I had no idea what I wanted but a strong opinion of what I didn't want, and had tried on at least a dozen dresses at four or five other shops before visiting Cicada. My reaction to all the other dresses had been lukewarm (at best) - but at Cicada, I fell in love with the first dress I tried on and bought it right then and there! The sales people are wonderful and create a warm and inviting atmosphere, there is no sales pressure and everything can be customized. I bought a sample dress off the rack and the alterations were spot-on. Everyone loved the dress, too! If you don't want a wedding dress that is seen in every other magazine and/or are looking for understated elegance, go to Cicada.

This amazing shop is an absolute treat. I picked up a gorgeous 1940's-style headpiece/cage veil here, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. They seemed to know just the sort of piece I was looking for and were able to show me vintage and modern options. The veil was a show-stopper. Thanks, Cicada!

Oh my GOD!!! The Cicada dresses are to die for!!!! I haven't picked a dress yet, but so far Cicada is at the top of my list for Seattle boutiques!!!

Cicada was wonderful. I bought my wedding dress, my rehearsal dinner dress and jewelry there. They tailored my wedding dress perfectly and everything was ready exactly when they said it would be. They have a great and fun selection of items.

They were an experience bunch of women who never made me feel silly with all my questions. They were incredibly helpful and amazing to work with. I really felt that they saw me as a person and not a another sale. Go check them out, their work is amazing and you get a one of kind piece!

I cannot recommend Cicada bridal enough. The entire staff was very helpful, polite and professional. Jennifer assisted me in the process of narrowing down my choice of *16 DRESSES* down to one. As with many brides, my weight and shape was changing with almost every fitting I had, and they were happy to accommodate me with additional fittings and adjustments - the last one just 2 weeks before our big day. They also helped me find a beautiful Mother of the Bride dress for my Mom after we had looked far & wide for a pant suit for her.

I had no idea what I wanted in a wedding dress, but I knew I didn't want to go to any giant stores. All of Cicada's dresses were beautiful, and the service was laid back and helpful. I did shop around but couldn't find anything that compared. I ended up getting a custom dress that perfectly fit my beach wedding.

I LOVED my dress. It was handmade and designed by the talented staff at Cicada. I felt so good to buy local and know that my dress wasn't made in a sweatshop. My dress was on sale for less than $500!!!

Cicada's sales staff is super friendly and enthusiastic. I got a great deal on my dress by buying part of it "off the shelf" during a big sale in the summer, and then having a corset and skirt custom made. I had such a good experience there that I returned with my maid of honor to select her dress as well as the ties for the men in the wedding party.

Such nice ladies work here, and the service was better than expected. I was on a tight budget, and made a beeline to the clearance rack to find some good deals. I bought a top and a skirt for almost half their original price. I ended up buying my shoes at this shop too. No one tried to sell me anything I didn't need, and I always got a fitting room and someone to help me in a very timely manner, even though I was a cheapo. The store itself is very cozy; you're not on display in a huge and busy shop where all sorts of strangers can look at you. The off-the-rack dresses are beautiful; simple and elegant. Some are a bit funky too! I will come back here when I need a good party dress!
