CC's Bridal Boutique

I LOVE my dress! Monica was wonderful - she helped me have fun! The place is a bit snobby overall, but Monica is very down to earth.

There was one thing that raised a great deal of concern for me. I am 5'11" and most wedding dresses are created for women up to 5'9" tall. I had to ask about adding extra length and the seamstress told me that it "would be fine." We had to insist on a hollow to hem measurement and sure enough, I needed extra length! We did not do any alterations there.

They certainly have a wide variety of dresses, but they do mark them up, so if you know the style you want, you may want to shop around. If you're looking for the whole bridal shop experience (think Kleinfeld), that's where you go and probably why you pay extra.

I loved my dress! It was Lazaro. However, my shopping experience at CC's was so-so. I worked with DJ. She was great the first time I came in but really pressured me to buy that day. The women there are very stuck up to say the least. I had my alterations there and they were awful the first time. I had to go back several times. The first time the top of the dress wasn't even (semi-sweet heart) and the women tried to argue with me. The second time they took the dress up to much. I was very disappointed with the quality of alterations. I expected more from a shop of this caliber.

I would recommend CC's Bridal. They have a great variety of dresses; their prices are a bit high - not outrageous, but a bit over suggested retail. The shop is a bit pretentious, but Monica was very warm and kind and clear in answering my questions.

CC's did a GREAT job with my dress! I originally went in there with my maid of honor to just kind of look at some stuff, not expecting to find anything specific, We just wanted to look around. I wasn't aware that there was no "browsing" of wedding dresses allowed nd we needed an appointment to try anything on, but they had someone available to help me anyway! I described what I thought I wanted and gave a price range. When I tried on the things I had envisioned myself wearing they weren't what I had expected. So, she helped us pick out some other things inside the price range I gave her and I fell in LOVE with one of the dresses she pulled. It was a dress by Pronovias. It was so gorgeous and almost the exact opposite of what I thought I had wanted. I came back that weekend with my mom to show it to her and knew I had to buy it. The alterations process was just as smooth. I only needed one fitting and when I came back for my 2nd fitting it was PERFECT! Everyone there was so nice and am so thankful for all the services they provided!

I love this store because it has so many different brands and styles of dresses to chose from. The staff is usually great, too, but I did get some attitude from one sales clerk. It was my third visit, and I was trying to decide between two dresses with my mother. I had taken a bit to long on deciding between dresses, and the sales clerk who was working with me was obviously getting annoyed. My mother finally told her that if she really needed to leave, she could, and that we weren't being rushed into a decision. The salesclerk finally explained that she had her own fitting to get to, and we all felt better in the end. I did end on picking on a dress that day, and bought it the next day.

My bridesmaids found the dresses that they wanted to wear during a trunk show at CC's boutique. They dresses were very beautiful, but they were also on the pricey side because they were that year's style. The girls loved the dresses and offered to pay for the dresses themselves! I think that CC's does have an excellent selection of bridesmaids dresses, to my memory, and they are all of excellent quality. They had the alterations done at the store, as well as have the dresses preserved.

Trunk Show: We went to several trunk shows, just because a trunk show is a great way to get fashion ideas for the bridal party and other great ideas from other brides. The fashion shows we went to at CC's were for the Emerald Bridal Show and the Watters trunk Show. This is actually where the bridesmaids found the dresses that they would wear to my wedding! They book up fast, or at least that's what they always tell me on the phone, but I always managed to get two or three tickets. There's always lots of people at the shows. It's really a great way to see the dresses and to visit the stores.

CC's Boutique was the place to go for bridesmaid's gown's and did my bridesmaid ever get a nice bridesmaid gown from CC's Boutique. We were so thrilled about all of the different types of gowns CC's Boutique had and it was worth it. They also had some really nice people working in the shop who really wanted to help us find her just the right bridesmaid gown and that's what we found at the shop.

They had so many options for dresses! We were on a tight budget and were happy to find they had a "discount" area downstairs. My mom, sister, and I loved it! I was able to try on dresses without being hassled by pushy saleswomen who pump the champagne in order to convince me to spend thousands on a dress. I got a $900 dress for $300 and it didn't need major alterations!

We went bridesmaid dress shopping and we tried CC's Bridal Wear. The bridesmaid dress prices were kind of higher than other shops but the previously years bridesmaid dresses were on clearence and at real good prices. So my bridesmaid got an clearence dress that at other shops would of cost an fortune but she got it at a really good price that we couldnt pass up. So we got an bargain and it was worth or trip. They were also nice at telling us about what was going to be on sale in the future so we really like the shop a bunch.

I dragged my mom and girls EVERYWHERE looking for THE dress within my budget. CC's had it, and they were phenomenal in their service and assisting me with my dress.

Good shopping experience here. Didn't find "the" dress, but enjoyed my time there. Would recommend trying them to find your gown.

I was disappointed to find the exact dress almost $1000.00 cheaper on the internet.

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE DRESS....

I would recommend no other than CC's Boutique for a Mother of the Bride dress. I have spent weeks going to multiple bridal shops and high end department stores in Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg searching for a mother of the bride gown for my older daughter's Nassau wedding in December 09. I have been looking for an elegant gown that can be worn on the beach but also formal enough for a garden terrace reception so it has been difficult meeting both sets of criteria. When first entering CC's I noticed a note on the door stating appointments were required. Thinking that it was a Saturday early afternoon I expected it to be a mad house as many other shops I visited were. When first speaking with the lady at the counter she stated that appointments were only required for brides to be to insure they could spend the individualized attention they deserved (I can honestly say I understand and agree). From there they quickly led me to Patty my fashion consultant who was absolutely wonderful. She took the time, attention and cared about how my experience was with CC's. She helped me select the gowns within my price range, try everyone one of them on, all along focusing on me during the experience and not helping 14 other clients at one time. I have been to so many shops and can by far say the attention I received despite the fact I did not have an appointment and the time Patty spent was a wonderful experience. I did not feel rushed and was well attended to as I tried on multiple gowns. The selection and quality of the dresses they carry are surperb and it was freshening to actually have a choice as many places I have been were very limited and mostly catered to the older style dress for a mother. Being in my early 40's I was not ready to take that leap. When first seeing my dress, I absolutely fell in love with it all though I tried on many gowns to insure that I did not miss the right one. Patty spent almost two hours with me and was by my side the whole way. In fact after purchasing the gown I even received the following Tuesday a handwritten note thanking me for coming in. It is rare this day and time that businesses actually take the time to "Thank" their clients. I would certainly recommend any mother of the bride to try CC's Boutique first. I will definetly go back for when my younger son and daughter eventually get married and be sure my daughter goes there first for her wedding gown.
